Most of the time chains like these set a standard and only thing that can stick out like a sore thumb is customer service. This DICKs doesn't have that problem, luckily.

I first walked into this store totally intimidated and unsure of myself. I am a gray haired 62 year old widow and I want to learn to protect myself. I can't speak highly enough about these guys. They have gone above and beyond to help me on multiple occasions. I have asked for so much help and have had so many questions and they have never once made me feel like a pain in the ass. You just don't find service like this in many places. I am so happy that, even though I was terribly nervous, I walked through their door.
