The hubcaps were the perfect touch: painted lime green, which is the bride's favorite color. BJ, Ron's son, was driving the car dressed in old-timey attire. It was the most memorable surprise of the celebration! In addition to renting cars for occasions, Ron's Machine Shop specializes in restoring classic cars, particularly engines in Model T and Model A Fords. They are also experienced in many other cars from 1900-1940s, such as Stafford, Oldsmobile, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Packard, International, and White. Rumor has it Ron's just opened a classic car museum too! I can't wait to make a trip to Hamilton to check it out... especially since they have Packards... and Paige engines!

They said it would be fixed in one day; it took two. When I questioned why he charged me for five hours of labor for a 2-hour job he got very defensive. Yelling at me, his place is a five-star place. Telling me my check wasn't good. He questioned my honesty and my integrity. He had me shaking and in tears. Yelling at me that it was a five-hour job, and I had no right to question his work. Yet every mechanic I talk to said it no more then a two-hour job. At $90.00 an hour for labor, a total of $180 instead he charged me $450. I feel taken advantage of and victimized.

They looked and said it was too big of a job for them to handle, which we informed them it was a pretty bad leak prior to dropping it off, so it was a wasted trip but that part was fine. However upon pick up, we wanted to top off the transmission fluid before driving, and was screamed at by the owner for not topping off in the gravel.... That being said, they were aware the leak was substantial and THEY parked it in the parking lot KNOWING this. We were just topping it off before leaving, and the owner got in my husband's face, screaming at him to move the car and demanding he lay down litter on the puddle that formed before we even arrived onsite. Will never return, never recommend. Absolute trash service.

Took my Ford escape in to them to fix my transmission and had it for a couple of weeks then told me…read moreit was fixed and charged me all most $1500 and I only had it for a couple days and was having trouble with the transmission and took it back to them under there supposed guarantee and had it for almost 3 months and then told me that they couldn't fix the problem and turned around and charged me another $500 for doing nothing to fix it in order to get my car back. Tried to talk to the supposed Manager and he was a total joke and shouldn't be running a place like that. Now I will have to take them to small claims court and deal with all that headache in order to try and get my money back. In my opinion do not have any work done there or you want be happy.
