Once all the power and heat was turned on, Jay went above and beyond going through all the parts of the house. He pointed out everything they needed to repaired and gave rough estimates and referrals throughout the house. The thing that really stood out though was that Jay was straightforward and honest in his assessment. I work on a lot of houses, so all the figures he gave for estimates were pretty much in line with what I would expect. Not too high, like he was selling me on a repair I didn't need. But also not underselling the cost of what needed to get done. To me, there's nothing more valuable then getting accurate information. Don't try and overinflate or udnerflate what costs will be. Just say it like it is and let me decide how to proceed. I will absolutely be using 4 Seasons for future Home Inspection work and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a home assessed.

Spencer was upfront about the extent of what he could inspect from the 2-10 warranty checklist, and both of us were happy with the overlap of the items inspected. Spencer completed the inspection as scheduled, looked into crawl spaces and took drone footage of the roof etc. and spoke on the phone with me promptly to go over the highlights. The report was in my inbox in the next hour after we spoke and I feel a peace of mind in filing the 18-20 items to get covered by the warranty. Spencer arrived on time and finished in about 2 hrs and 15 mins, right on schedule. He walked on the roof when he was unable to use the drone. He reassured me that my biggest concern of water in the crawl space was most likely due to a fixable gutter problem. He helped me realize that the house was not in bad shape which was really reassuring. I got the printed report shortly after and he did verbally review the major items with me at the end. I would recommend Spencer and if I needed another preinspection, I would not hesitate to call him.
