She was very kind, but spoke little to no English. I thought payment up front was a bit weird, but went with it. She then led me to the room I would be receiving a massage in. The room was very clean, comfortable, and lit with relaxing lighting. I had a Swedish massage and it was three stars. The pressure was a bit rough and my massage therapist asked me no questions about pressure, injuries, etc. He did bring in hot stones and that was a welcome surprise. I could hear the chatter of the staff during my massage, which was really distracting. I don't think the walls in each room go to the ceiling and the doors have curtains in front of them. My massage therapist left the door open with the curtain closed, so while there was privacy, there was also a lot of noise. After the massage, the massage therapist met me outside the room where he handed me a water and said goodbye. Once I got to the lobby and was preparing to exit, he followed me and asked for a tip. It was SO uncomfortable. The massage was a gift, so I had no idea what it cost to give an appropriate tip. I gave a tip, but it wasn't something I wanted to do and I didn't like feeling pressured into it.
