It's been years since we've been here. It's a solid place. Cutest decorated. The rooms are separated by just curtains and frames so it's not sound proof. They make it very relaxing by playing music overhead. They have a variety of massage services including Thai and Swedish. We've had both experiences, this time we wanted more of a relaxation massage, so we went with the Swedish. We usually do the couples massage in the same room. The ladies are small but mighty. Wow this place offers a truly authentic Thai massage. It was honestly so much better than the massages I received in Thailand. They used a warm pillow and warmed up the bed which was an extra nice touch. I didn't get my massage therapist's name, but she was wonderful (I had an hour massage on 8/13 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM). I see people complaining about a phone ringing? They're a business...if you're looking for a private roomed, high end spa? Try the Ritz Carlton. The most unseasoned complaint, please culture yourself. ANYWAYS, amazing amazing amazing. Their customer service is wonderful. I got the 1 hour deep tissue massage, girlll. It's the best! they step on you, massage pressure points, get into the knitty gritty with those knots, and they stretch you? Cherry on top! Best believe I'm coming back for more. This place is the best!! I'm traveling from Sacramento with a very sore neck and I just left feeling so much better. My massage was with Liz and she was very good at targeting my problem. I did the combo which was relaxing at times then targeted at stretching and putting lots of pressure on the knots. This is for sure a traditional Thai massage style so you need to be ok with walking on your back and stretching. She also checked in frequently to make sure everything was going ok. What a disappointing experience. I had an amazing thai therapist up in san francisco. I hadn't had a great experience on a previous massage so i thought i'd give it one more try. $150 later between massage and tip later, i'm leaving feeling worse than when i came in. First off, communicating with my massage lady was a nightmare. I had asked to focus on my hips and outer thigh. She ends end spending the majority of my time massaging my neck, shoulders and arms. She was aggressive, rushed and varied between slow and thoughtful and frenzied. She was massaging my scalp and quite literally pulling the hair out and i had to ask her to stop. How do you fuck up a head massage? I really don't understand how they have so many positive reviews. Maybe i'm missing out on the best therapist. Unfortunately, i won't be back. read more

Went here on a whim because the places I normally like to go to were all booked up last minute on a Saturday. I am so glad that I did because it was one of the best massages I've had basically in my entire life. The bed was warm and heated, they put these weird pillow things on my back after the back part of the massage that we are so relaxing. At the end, it was a nice stretch out like a traditional Thai massage. I told the lady that I just wanted to relax and she totally listened to my request. She was checking in on me every now and then to make sure that she was not too hard or too soft. Insanely relaxing. I will absolutely be coming back. read more

I'm super disappointed with my experience here at Sabaidee, especially after reading such great reviews regarding this place. I honestly left in a bad mood and with a headache. Firstly, it was pretty cold inside, even though I believe the beds were heated, the blanket was so thin I felt super exposed and cold the whole time, especially when I was laying face up. Secondly, I was asked if I would like to switch from Swedish to Thai Combo, to which I said "no thank you," but I feel like the massage I got wasn't swedish at all. It just felt like she was rubbing oil into my body instead of really working my muscles. My next issue was that about every 2 minutes or so the door alarm would go off. Which was incredibly disrupting to the relaxing vibe we were supposed to have. Also the phone would ring but no one would answer so it'd just ring and ring and ring. That happened about 5 times as well. The massage itself wasn't great and I left so disappointed. read more

This is my go to for massage - they are able to target and find the tension in my shoulders and back that cause me chronic pain and will spend the time needed to make sure they fully address it. It definitely involves some intense pressure but I feel so much better after. Prefer Thai massage over Swedish any day. read more

I got a massage on Monday 2 weeks ago.I can't remember her name but she's old. Honestly, it was a kind of a traumatizing experience. First, she walked on my back. I can't breathe with her stepping on my back. But mind you Im a 100 pound 5 ft girl like Im not a person you can just walk on. She was just way too intense and she wasn't understanding me, there was of a language barrier. Thats not the worst though. I just felt uncomfortable throughout the massage. There was a part she was massaging me and she made me sit up. The towel slipped down and I was exposed. She wouldn't let me pull it back up and insisted that I keep my hands up for that portion of the massage. Thats not even the worst, when I went to pay she asking me for Tip!!! . And then pretend to laugh. Like m'am I just met you today like we aren't related or close like that. So yeah... all in all I did not enjoy my experience.Bad experience. read more

I was looking for a local place to take my mom for a Mother's Day massage that didn't cost an arm and a leg. My Yelp search led me to Sabaidee and I am SO happy it did! After reading the reviews, I knew it would be the perfect experience for my mom and I, who love trying new things. When I first called, the lady who made the reservation was so sweet and accommodating. When we arrived, they welcomed us and had us take off our shoes and put on the cutest little slippers. The decor transports you to another place and it feels like a traditional Thai massage parlour. Our appointments were for the same time, so they put us in a room with a curtain divider so we could talk a little which was fun (until another customer came in and we had to be quiet). The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the table is heated! My only complaint is that the massage rooms do not have doors- only curtains- so you can hear everything that goes on from phone calls (someone left a voicemail on the answering machine during my massage) to other clients coming and going. I had never had a Thai massage before, and chose the Thai/Swedish combo. It was the perfect amount of stretching, deep tissue massage and Swedish massage. I especially loved the hot towel at the end. I would not think twice about coming back to this place and if you're on the fence... TRY IT! I loved my experience here. My back felt "scrunched up" for a couple of weeks, likely due to a new workout routine and starting a new job. I get regular Swedish massages for some neck/shoulder pain I get, which I love but I had never had a Thai massage. Due to some extra stress I had a ton of neck tension and needed a massage and due to the holidays, I couldn't get in with my normal massage place so I made an appointment here. Phenomenal! They offer Thai and Swedish massage, and I selected combination on arrival so the masseuse could just choose what she thought was best. The techniques are definitely different than Swedish with more stretching, but I feel amazing! I honestly don't remember the last time I felt this relaxed and my knots were gone. I've had severe compressed nerve in my neck that hasn't allowed me to stand or walk properly or work or sleep well for a couple months now. I've essentially just been using one arm for everything. I've been neglecting it and came in to get some of the knots worked out hoping to get some relief on this compressed nerve. LIZ was my therapist and she was attentive to focus on the issue at hand and didn't waste much time on other parts of my body that I wasn't interested in getting worked on. I was in pretty extreme pain getting the massage but I've been an extreme pain just trying to get out of bed or get through a day at work so I can't say that it's because of her. She did a great job working out as many of the knots as possible and was extra attentive and helpful in trying to give me some stretches and other things I could do at home to help relieve the issue. Definitely will be back in a couple weeks for more help getting this issue resolved. read more

Outstanding massage! A huge thank you to the skilled masseuses here. For two years I cooped myself up in the house. As restrictions lifted, our family has been very active; Long hikes and bike rides, renewing that gym membership, and signing up for a half marathon... My brain said yes, but my 40 yo body said GFY. I don't know what I did in the gym a week ago, but it's been painful looking over my shoulder. I also did a beach run that destroyed my legs, it was difficult taking stairs. After an hour of a combo Thai and Swedish massage, asking for concentration in the neck and legs... I feel so much better. I have more movement and I feel amazing. I am not one to go into a care facility until I am at a breaking point. The last massage I got was in 2015.... As I am not a massage expert, I'll lay out my experience. The place is clean. The linens were fresh and there were no bad smells. They are professional. I called ahead to schedule the appointment and was greeted by name at the desk. I was new, so I filled out a small questionnaire about type of massage (Thai, Swedish, or combo), pressure (soft, medium, or hard), areas of concentration, some questions of health (sick today, injury, etc), and then name/phone/email. I was led to my room, showed a wicker basket to place my personal articles in, explained to keep my underwear on (LOL), and the sheet to cover up with. They are very skilled. I was greeted by my masseuse when she came in, and she confirmed I would like concentration in my neck and legs. No other conversation was had, she went straight to work and it was very relaxing and quiet. I still got a full body massage, but she found the area in my neck and legs without any information from me and she spent some time working those spots. If you have a general problem area, I whole heartedly believe the skill of the masseuse here will be able to find it. Five Stars all the way! read more

Jenny is amazing! I am pretty sure she got every kink and knot out of my body. In fact, I feel pretty exhausted and that's a good thing. I would say that I am a massage snob and extremely picky. I had such a great time at Sabaidee. I chose the combo massage because I had thrown my back earlier that week. The massage was so good, I got immediate relief. Amy is the best! She adjusted the pressure mid way, gave some hot towels, put on some warm herbal bags on me. It was all so good. The rooms aren't really rooms, they're more like rooms with curtains. The space is a bit cramped but nothing I haven't seen before. (I've seen other places with similar partitions to cater to couples getting massaged at the same time) Plenty of parking in the lot outside. The place isn't hard to find once you're in the lot. Sarah knew exactly how much pressure to apply on my neck and shoulders to work out the knots. I have been to Sabaidee several times and those experiences were fine but this last time was not. I had not seen this masseuse before and i dont know her name. I asked for a thai/swedish combo and having had a swedish massage before can say this was a poorly done thai massage only. She dug the tips of her fingers into my skin the entire massage so much so that at one point she scratched me on my arm and shoulder several times. She also did not use enough oil so it felt like she was pulling on my skin most of the time. Again, having been here before, her technique was not at the same level as the other masseuses I've had here in the past. If i was basing my review off of just this experience I would have put one star. read more
