We bought a voucher for a resort in Maui that looked like an amazing deal. Until we tried to redeem it. Trips Incentives will not allow you to book any more than 60 days before your trip. We called 58 days ahead, and they told us that they had nothing left anywhere in Hawaii. After further pursuit, they told us that we would have to pay for the entire trip - in cash or cashier's check - before they would even look into reserving anything, with nothing more than a verbal promise that the money would be returned if we decided against it. When asked why, they made up a story of losing money because customers cancelled their credit card after the trip. (For those who don't know, credit cards provide payment to the vendor, even if the card is cancelled.) This company's practices do not inspire trust. read more

I have tried several times to use our certificates and every time there was a problem. Mailed in the certificates and money only to find out that no availability at all 3 destinations. It took a month to get our money back. When I tried to book again before our certificates expired they could not help me over the phone, as they can only book certain destiniations over the phone, & informed me that by the time I mail the information in the certificates would be expired. They offered to send me to Las Vegas or Tahoo - not an option for our family. Not willing to extend the certificates so that I could mail them in. Beware - These certificates are a scam. Through "Double Takes" I attempted to book World Gate hotel in Orlando Fl. There is small print in the Terms and Conditions that says they can substitute Ramada Maingate West for World Gate Orlando. At arrival the Orlando travel bureau issues the certificate for the hotel. This is a typical bait and switch. You get a room but it is ALWAYS at the Ramada and NOT the World Gate. The Ramada is dramatically less quality then the Ramada. In fact the Ramada across the street from the Maingate is a better hotel. When asked how many rooms are allocated to Trip Incentives to cover the program they would NOT answer. Don't take the Double Takes or Trip Incentive program as you will not get the World Gate. I know I have received one of these before and everything went off without a hitch. I was able to book by phone. I had received another one and could not book by phone, so submitted via mail as requested. I am pregnant and can not travel far from home, so instead of 3 destination choices, I chose 3 different dates. After nearly a month, they sent the certificate back to me stating that they could not honor it without 3 destination choices and that they were returning my payment-which was not included. I have called 4 days in a row and left messages. No one will return my call, and the check just so happened to clear my bank yesterday. I will not let this go, but even of they are to honor it, I'm afraid I'll never get the $50 back after the reservation and time share spiel as I can't even get a human on the phone now! read more

Not every a rating of zero stars is fitting for this company let alone q star. If i could i would give it negative stars. They are a total scam. Called before i booked to see if I could actually get a person and I talked to her ask questions and it seemed legit and easy to contact. I fill out my form and check they cash it then send back the form with a piece of paper saying it's rejected because i wanted to bring my son and didnt know i had to add in the extra $10 on the original check. So i call again and reach another person easily. She tells me oh yeah people always get confused as it isnt listed on the forn to send it on the check they think they pay at the hotel (like i had thought). She assures me once i send in the check my trip will be set to go. So away i send the extra $10. No big deal or so i thought. They have now cashed both of my checks and I have called at least 15 times with not one single time having a person answer or call me back when i leave a message. I still have not got my vacation or money back so i messaged tgem on their contact me form on their website. They claim 24-48 business hours and you will recieve a call back. If they do not respond in any form by 48 more hours (been going on since may and is now july) i will be turning them into BBB. I suggest other stay away from this horrrible company and if you have already got scammed like me i suggest contacting the BBB as well. read more

I had booked a reservation for two nights in Orlando for myself and my boyfriend for my mothers wedding and our four year anniversary. I confirmed verbally with the company on Thursday that I was still traveling and keeping the reservation. That Saturday, they email me saying they cancelled my reservation two weeks before my trip because I was supposedly traveling in a group and they do not allow group travel. When I called to inquire why they would say this I was told someone called and was trying to book the same deal as me and that they knew I had used this company. I informed them that I am only traveling with one other person and have the flight itinerary to prove it. My boyfriend and I have our own separate plans from any other wedding party members, booked our own reservation separately and paid for our reservation separately. We were the only two people who planned on staying in the room and doing our own thing before the wedding. The company claimed that it was marked in the computer as group travel and that they couldn't change it and all I could do is get a refund from the place I purchased the offer from. They made no attempt to apologize for canceling the reservation, they made no attempt to contact me to confirm any information they believed they had and made no attempt to reinstate my reservation once they had the correct information. Be careful using this company because they'll believe anything they're told, won't ask the customer if any of that information is correct, and will then cancel your plans two weeks prior to your arrival date leaving you scrambling and dampening the mood of what was supposed to be a joyous trip. read more

I was given a certificate from trips incentives and thought it would be a good idea to use it when I took my daughter to Disneyland for her birthday. I thought wrong. I sent in the offer on 01/09/16 an they received it on 01/11/16. They decided to send it back and not call me and say there were any problems. They said I didn't include the $20 deposit for my 2 kids. I sent the form back again, with the $20 and they sent it back again saying I needed to have 3 destination locations on the form. At this point I am upset because now, my travel date is less than 30 days away and they are saying ill need to change my travel date. They refused to call me and ask to add different destinations and they refuse to basically accept the form. Their "supervisor" Jessica lied and told me she was the supervisor and the second time I called, because the first time I calle, she told me she would get the supervisor, I am beyond frustrated with this company. Fraud. I got this offer from a car dealership as a gift for coming in. The company returned my first application because it wasn't signed by the dealership. The second one was returned for the same reasons others have gotten: "nothing available for those dates." All three dates?!!? No way. They cashed my $53 check. Stay clear of these scammers. I took a trip to Las Vegas using Trips Incentives and I had a great time. Absolutely worth doing business with. They do a great job!

As a "reward" for attending a wedding vendor event the event coordinator presented each couple attending with a "free" 3-Day & 2-Nights" vacation coupon. Simply send in the $50 refundable "deposit" (after you've gone on your vacation trip fee will be returned), select 3 possible locations for the trip, and the start date and wait for them to respond by mail. After sending it in the first time it was returned because we did not call the "reservation" number (888-331-3331) to make our "reservations. After calling the reservation number, advising the 3 locations and start date of the trip we sent the form in again. It was sent back indicating that those 3 locations were unavailable for that start date. We called the reservation number again and selected the same 3 locations with another start date and subsequently sent in the form again. Low-and-behold a week later they send it back again indicating that there wasn't any availability for that date for those three locations. Now please note that when we select three locations its not 3 specific hotels...it's three city/states and they are supposed to find something available from and they give you a list of the city/states to choose from. So...its either they're playing games or they have such poor availability. Either way they can't tell you up front if they can get you there using the "reservation" phone line. So you're left sending the form back and forth and hoping that they'll finally tell you here's your reservation. Finally, each time they mail the form back to you indicating "what's wrong" and why they can't assist you they use a pathetic form letter that isn't worth the paper it's written on. Each time we called we spoke with someone who could hardly speak English and could hardly understand. In the end, I've asked for my $50 dollars back and they advised me that I'd see it in 5-7 business days. I was going to count myself lucky if that actually happened and thankfully it did and it took less than a week. I would never do business with this company again. Poor process and if it's not a cheat it sure feels like it to me. We were looking for a nice long weekend away before our wedding, but instead...you've just read it nothing but an annoying process and zero customer service. read more

Purchased a 3 day 2 night trip to Daytona Beach. Gave a $50.00 refundable deposit at the time of booking. Had a great time at Daytona, but can't seem to get my $50.00 back. I have called a numer of times, and they keep telling me they will e-mail the info to send my receipt for the return deposit. but they won't send me the e-mail. Getting very frustrated. I have spent way to much time on this. Also the $100.00 dining card seems to be redicioulus. way to many hoops to jump through. Thank-ful that the stay in Daytona is good. I have never encountered such disrespectful, inconsiderate, uninformative representatives in my LIFE. They are quick to take your money, confirming your destination and then place you anywhere. My husband and I were set to go to Virginia Beach, VA, but when we received our reservation packet, Trips Incentives sent us to Orlando Fl, without our consent. Now we can't get any help or assistance on correcting the matter. I have been hung-up on, transferred and been told, "Anyway" by their incompetent reps. Horrible experience with this company! I purchased my vouchers through mybuffaloperks.com thinking it was an amazing deal, $59 for a 2 night stay in Orlando and $55 for a 2 night stay in Fort Lauderdale. I purchased my vouchers, booked my stay, everything was fine. When I checked into the hotel in Orlando, the lady at the welcome center barely spoke english to begin with. She proceeded to tell me that I had to attend a 90 minute timeshare presentation in order to receive my deal or else I would have to pay the full amount for the hotel stay. She also told me I had to put a $20 deposit down to hold my place at the seminar. Not clearly understanding what was going on and not wanting to have to pay the full amount for the hotel I paid the $20. I had no time or interest in attending a timeshare presentation! I double checked all the emails Trip Incentives sent me when confirming my stay and no where in the emails or phone calls did they mention anything about a timeshare presentation! Then when I checked into the actual hotel they told me I had to pay an additional $40 for hotel room taxes and fees! I also had to go through this whole process again when I checked into Fort Lauderdale! Overall I ended up paying an additional $70 and lost my $20 deposit (I ended up talking to another person at the welcome center that then told me I didn't have to attend the seminar but would lose my deposit). I would gladly have spent more money to stay at nicer hotels. I will never book anything with this company again!! It is not worth it!! They are very misleading and never mentioned anything about timeshares or having to pay extra fees! They make it seem like a good deal but in the end it isn't!! read more

We received a TRIPS two-night hotel stay free after listening to a home demo for a product. We have tried now at least four times to redeem this hotel stay but have been unsuccessful. When we call the phone number listed on the form, we always talk to someone we can barely understand (not native English speakers) and what we are told is always inconsistent with the previous phone call. We have wasted over $2 in postage and are becoming more and more frustrated with the tedious process they have lined out to book your hotel stay: call the 888 number to "activate" your form #, wait a few days and call again to give them your basic information, then send in your form with the refundable $50, then wait to hear back if your dates and locations are available. Twice we have received a letter back saying our dates and locations were not available and that our $50 should have been returned to us with the letter--but the check was not returned, but was instead promptly cashed by TRIPS. We did get our $50 back the first time, and we will have to pester them again to get it back. So if you ask us, TRIPS is a scam. We have yet to see anything come of our free hotel stay, except for wasted time and money spent on trying to see it come to pass. I do recommend calling the processing department phone number (954-376-6100) instead of the 888 number if you want to talk to someone you can understand and who can give you correct information. In the span of 3 days, I called the 888 number and was given false information 2 out of the 3 times I talked to someone, but was given correct information from the processing dept. read more

Total SCAM!!! If I could give this company zero stars I would! I purchased a trip to Orlando and from the time I arrived was asked to do nothing but jump through hoops! Nowhere in my paperwork did it say I had to attend a timeshare presentation but be warned the Orlando Welcome Center is where you go to get your timeshare presentation time. I tried to skip this and even just pay for my room full price (which is the same price as without the trips incentives offer) I was told I would not get my deposit refunded to me and they would give me additional money of $50 to not cancel. This presentation was a total waste of everone involveds time and totally disrupted the short vacation we already had. After being home for 2 months I still havent recieved my $100 visa vouchers promised for food. Trying to reach these people for help proves nearly impossible. When they have answered which was twice the reps were rude and unhelpful. Now im told the visa vouchers are rebate cards and I have to use the money at the restaurants they chose and mail them the reciepts along with self addressed stamped evelope and 2.95 shipping and handling! And the best part is now after telling me I would lose my deposit etc. theyre telling me I didnt have to attend a presentation. Total joke these people are! read more
