Came as a walk in with my grandmother mid day on a Monday and were immediately attended to. From the moment we stepped in, it was very apparent how excellent their customer service was. They were very kind and gentle with my grandmother which meant so much to me. They offered beverages to us, explained the different services that were offered, and truly made the experience feel like a spa experience--something I feel that many nail salons are missing nowadays. They also used cleaned & sanitized equipment, which is an essential! My only gripe was that my grandmothers nails messed up after she went to the restroom, I think they weren't completely dry. She just got regular polish and although she waited for about 15+ minutes I think she would have benefited from using a fan to assist with the drying. To my surprise, I got gel on my toes and one of my toes also chipped a day later--which has never happened to me with getting gel elsewhere. Despite this, I feel like the customer service & experience was very exceptional and I will most definitely be coming back because of that! read more

I miss the original owner! I was unaware and never received notice that there was a change in management and happened to see a post about it recently on instagram. I needed a quick pedicure and decided to stop by to see if there were any changes in the business with the new management. I had a gift card that i received for my birthday last year that I still had some funds left. Since I never received notice of new management, although i've been coming here since 2010, I had no way of knowing that my gift card had been deactivated with the changes. Looks like i was completely removed from the system. It would've have been nice to receive some notice and some grace as a long time customer, but i was only offered a few dollars off which doesn't matter once you add a tip. But I'm glad i came today because I know now that I will not be returning, especially since my favorite nail techs left to go to other shops(thankfully i found most of them already). read more

One of my go-to places to get my nails done. I would recommend making an appointment because it does tend to get crowded. However, they also take walk-ins. They expanded a bit and did some remodeling so their space is a lot bigger. It's a cute nail salon. I don't have a specific person I go to. It's always someone different but every lady always does a good job. I always go for a shellac manicure. They have an abundant of colors from all kinds of shades to different brands. They take their time with my nails, making sure that the paint job is done well. My nails usually last for a good while. It's a very relaxing environment even when it's busy. I like the cozy vibe of the place and the service is more attentive. I much preferred salons like this rather than the trendy nail salon where you're just paying for the ambience rather than the service. read more

I was looking for a last minute pedicure for my mom and myself when I happened upon this location. The spa is chic and most importantly really clean. We walked in an we are immediately greeted by a smiling face. I let her know we wanted pedicures and she squeezed is in. We got to sit down pretty quickly, offered drinks, and pedicure options. We went with the spa pedicure at $35 really wanted the longer foot massage. The pedicure was very good from start to finish for once I actually have no complaints! I walked in for my appointment (which started on time) and loved how Trish explained what would be best for my nail goals. I told her what I wanted and how I wanted them to look after. I'm visiting Houston and never get my nails done anymore due to bad experiences in the past. Today, however, I threw caution to the wind and decided to look for a shop close to where I'm staying. I called and booked an appointment with Jay- the shop was able to get me in right away. I was greeted upon arrival, offered a drink and was seated. Jay was the best part of the visit. He took his time, made sure I was happy with my color and best of all- I didn't feel a thing. He was very gentle and did an excellent job. You will not be disappointed! The owner I believe knew their names which is always a great gesture. All of the techs seemed attentive and focused on the clients they were working on. I was so use to going to a nail shop who was always on their phone when working on me and I find that highly unprofessional. But didn't see that here. So I appreciated them being attentive to my needs and made you feel comfortable. And they were busy! As a business owner I appreciate showing the same effort regardless of volume. Edit: Originally I gave this place 5 stars and then I got my chin waxed. My eyebrows and lip were perfect- no problem. But my chin??? This woman waxed the same spot three times. After she waxed it the second time I was like oh okay I'm going to have a mark there. Then she went at it a third time! So I told her that was going to really leave a mark! Now I most of my chin is raw, painful, and red. This place is so quiet and relaxing. It's also very clean and organized. You don't have to wait forever to be seen. Everyone is very professional. They don't rush through the work, and they don't hurt you! So many places are rough, but not here. read more

I got the spa pedicure. Before I came here I got my pedicures from Anthony Vince Nail Spa in City Centre. They are more expensive than Trishy's and you get a little less yet the experience there is better. At Trishy's, the salon stunk of chemicals which made me regret going there the second I walked in. I got french tips and the guy did a bad paint job. The workers socialize with each other the entire time, loudly. And my feet/leg were itchy the day after. None of these things is a problem at Anthony Vince so I'm probably going to go back there from now on. read more

I absolutely love this nail spa. I have been here more times than I have checked in. The space is a modern decor and they offer more than your basic nail spa in terms of services. The customer service here is excellent and I've never arm anytime leave unhappy. Trish the owner also does amazing work and makes sure all her employees uphold the same standard. My favorite pedicurist is Andy. He's amazing!!! He knows when I come in I'm coming to see him. You all have to go here at least once they offer aroma therapy with each pedicure. She is a true perfectionist and took her time creating the most beautiful nails I have ever had. There was no gunk, nothing to clean up, now powder out of place. What I wanted vs What I got (see pics) EXPENSIVE, POOR QUALITY POLISH, TERRIBLE SERVICE, INSULTING - DO NOT RECOMMEND I came here because I had an appointment nearby. I told them I had a hard stop at one hour. I came in with stiletto shaped nails and I asked them to cut them all the way down and create a short, square, wide, shape. I even showed her a picture of what i wanted! She started filing my nails on the sides making them very narrow. I asked her to make them wide, she said, "OK" and continued to file the sides making them narrow. I told her i didn't like such a narrow shape on my chubby short fingers. She called the "manager" over who looked me straight in the face and said, "we can't do that shape". I told them, "yes you can, you just have to add acrylic on the sides and shape it". We went back and forth for a few min and I only had 15 min to leave. They charged me $20 for shellac on my hands but had to put 3 coats because the polish was so watered down! Then I paid $20 for shellac on my toes as well. $40 total just for gel polish!! I paid $109 for these horrible nails and service. But that's not it... Now to my pedicure, while the first woman was very kind, she cut one big toe nail and left the other one long. The "manager" took over my pedicure and when I told her my toe nails were not the same length she said, "that's because one toe is fatter than the other". I said, "ma'am that's NOT true, but if it were, what does that have to do with the length of my toe NAILS?" So she clipped and filed it to somewhat even. While this was promised to be an hour service, it turned out to be an hour and a half, making me late for a very important meeting! I WILL NEVER BE BACK, I DON'T RECOMMEND. read more

Shortly after my review, the owner contacted me to big to situation. She gave me gift card and a refund. I was very hesitant to get my nails fixed their and I originally was not going to do it. But after sometime and thinking about it I decided to come back on her offered to fix my nails. My nails look 10 times better and I will be giving them another try for a refill. I really wanted to give this place more than 3 stars, but I wasn't entirely happy with my service despite multiple attempts at redirecting my nail tech. I came here as a walk-in after I failed at trying to remove shellac at home. I asked to remove the remaining shellac on my nails and a basic mani. Super impressed with how luxurious their basic mani ($15) felt. I received a massage and a hot towel treatment, both included in the package. The nail tech took her time to groom and paint my nails. The entire process lasted an hour! No other nail salon has put the same care into this service as Trishy's Spatique did, and I truly appreciated the extra TLC. However, as much as I loved the luxuriousness of the service, I didn't actually like the quality of work. I asked for an oval shape and some of my nails were crooked/lopsided. I tried to ask the nail tech to even the shape out, but it either became worse or didn't make a difference. The paint job was thick and got all over my cuticles. When the nail tech was adding the top coat, it was stained pink and I didn't notice until after the fact. Management was super nice! I was offered a drink after settling in. They intermittently checked in with me through my service. They generously waived the charge for shellac removal. A+ service! They also have a rewards program. I think their strong suits are gel/shellac/acrylic manis and pedicures. I would come back to give this place another try if I was getting one of the services mentioned above. read more
