Very disappointing first impression. I called Venezia Nail Spa to make my first appointment and specifically explained that I had never been there before. I was simply trying to ask a few questions about their manicure and French tip services before booking. Unfortunately, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude and made me feel like my questions were an inconvenience. Before I was even finished, she hung up on me without asking if I had any other questions. I called back thinking the call had dropped and explained that I was still talking when it ended. She responded in a frustrated tone, "Yes ma'am, your appointment is booked." I understand that people can be busy, but there is absolutely no reason to treat a potential first-time customer this way. A simple "Is there anything else I can help you with?" would have taken a few seconds. Needless to say, I will be taking my business somewhere else. If this is how potential new customers are treated over the phone, I can only imagine what the in-person experience would be like. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! i went here for the first AND LAST TIME in december with my mom. it's april and my nails HAVE STILL NOT RECOVERED FROM THE DAMAGE!!!!!! the workers were so rude and condescending, and could speak perfect English except when we tried to ask them a question or honestly speak to them at all. kept correcting my mom when she was trying to tell them the water wasn't hot enough. started a color on my mom only to tell her half way through the service and literally doing the color, that they didn't have enough of it and had to start over. my nails, are still cracked at where the base of their fake nail went. there was no one else other than us at the salon other than us, which tells me they probably don't retain a lot of customers based on persistent issues such as the ones i've listed above. oh and i forgot to mention it cost $300. ridiculous. will never go back. read more

Wow!! If I could give this nail spa a 6 out of 5 stars review on Yelp, I would! I am visiting from California and my mom and I decided to come in to Venezia Nail Spa today to do something we don't often do: pamper ourselves. Right from the get go, I was impressed by how clean, bright, and welcoming this salon is. We were sat in no time and Daniel offered me some hot tea. The foot massage was heavenly and since I go back home to California tomorrow for the holidays, I asked for something silly for a woman in her 50s... Could they draw a little Christmas tree on one of my nails? Nancy didn't bat an eye and willingly said, "Christmas tree??... OK!" With the more affordable nail polish I chose, drawing the tree was extra hard. But Nancy kept on and Lena (who was so sweet to my 82 y.o. mom), jumped in to help and BOTH worked on it until the TWO sweet little trees they painted looked just right! I was so moved by Lena and Nancy's service orientation, willingness to play along, dedication to their craft, and sweetness that I couldn't help but to get a little teary. I was and am SO moved. Thank you SO MUCH, Nancy, Lena, and Venezia Spa Salon for this most special nail salon experience and gift that my family, friends, and I will greatly enjoy during this holiday season! Walked in with someone looking to get pedicures. Lady at the front desk seemed very annoyed and uninterested when we came in, was on her phone and didn't look up until I said something lol we waited for maybe 5-10 minutes to be seated and selected the orange pedicure which was $40. I don't remember the techs who did our pedicures but they were overall very nice and did a good job. Soon after starting the pedicures I got around to check the huge selection of colors they have and decided I'd like to get a full set. I let the tech doing my pedi know but kept going with the pedicure. I let her know the colors I wanted and all for the full set and she then went to notify the lady at the front desk. Lady at the front desk comes up to me and says " you wanted to get a full set too? Why didn't you tell me in the beginning when you came in?" Like?? Sorry I changed my mind??I'm trying to pay to get something else done, I think that'd be a good thing. She then storms back got the front desk and gets someone to start in my full set. I wasn't crazy about the full set I got, shape was off and all very thick. Once everything is done, the person who I came with went ahead and paid so I wasn't paying much attention at that time and just wanted to get out of the place. Turns out she charged us both for the most expensive pedicure they offer! $55 each -_- I would not recommend anyone go to this location, it's simply not worth it. it's clean and nice on the inside but the customer service needs a lot of work. 2 stars only because the actual techs were nice and attentive. read more

When I told the lady at the front I didn't ask for shellac she proceeded to say "Well I guess you didn't realize that she was putting the lamp over your feet either." The two women in the front, one is short Vietnamese with really dramatic lash extensions, the other middle aged of Asian descent. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. I didn't think that this nail salon was all that great. My friend and I had an appointment for 4pm and they made us wait anyways. After seating us, they tried to start working on me first despite not having a nail technician for my friend so I asked them twice to wait. The prices are good but they were out of the color I wanted altogether so I just had to pick white. The ladies were not very nice or considerate on them being out of the color. Like "oh well, pick a new color then!" And we had to ask for a drink menu and they looked irritated about it. So, I have gone to this nail place for a while now but it's been the last 4 times (every other week for 2 months) all with different t persons doing my nails that I finally learned it's how they train them...to ruin your nails. i get shellac on my natural nail. They file the nail in lieu of scraping the remaining polish off and take most of the thickness of my nail with it. My nails are so thin after they file and file that they break even with 3 coats of polish plus top coat! I even resorted to ask them not to file so much, they just cannot do it.
