It always goes to voice mail, after a few days I finally got a hold of a nurse. I told her what was going on and she said it didn't need prior authorization. I have tried and tried calling back but no answer to my voice mails. I finally got through today but was told I had to leave a message. Why bother they won't return it. I'd like to give them negative stars.

I feel especially blessed & fortunate to have been sent by my family physician to Dr. Kevin L. Rakszawski. I expected that I would get a good doctor, but was blown away by Dr. Rakszawski and his colleagues/team. They treated me and my wife and our concerns with the utmost respect and dignity. They infused humor into a difficult process, and put us at ease. We were, frankly, scared. We didn't say so, but indubitably, he was aware. His knowledge, his calmness, and his bedside manner are second to none. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his team to anyone who needs to see a competent, thoroughly on top of the state of his/her profession professional. He zeroed right into our issue immediately, and was an excellent quarterback for the process we had to go through. My son is tangentially in the medical field in another state, and has access to physicians' ratings/education/experience nationwide. I asked him to look up Dr. Rakszawski and let me know what he found. Our son had wanted me to go to the Mayo Clinic, but after looking into Dr. Rakszawski and his rating from his peers/colleagues, he said, "Dad, it looks like you've found the best, stay with Rakszawski." I did and we are very glad and most grateful to him and his wisdom, technique, and sincere desire to help his patients. On a scale of 1 to 10, he is way off the scale, the best of the best.

Never received a return phone call. Communication through MYChart was slightly better but not much. When asking about test results and test scheduling I never communicated with the same person and often times received different answers for the same question. They don't help with expediting or scheduling preop appointments. I was left on my own having to go through the general appointment line. They consistently acted as if they rather not be bothered. To me, this is really a reflection of the physician. Most excellent physicians that I have known would not allow their patients to be treated this way. Having been diagnosed with breast cancer is a scary thing. The additional stress of having to make phone calls and emails constantly added to my stress. The staff needs to get it together. I would not recommend. A little compassion goes a long way. I have been a patient elsewhere at Hopkins and most of the time I would rate it a 4 or 5. The imaging staff at Greenspring were great. Great communicator's, kind and compassionate.

After being told the radiologist that read the scan interpreted it as a bulging disk, I was discharged to home with pain, numbness and weakness of my leg. I suffered through the next 2 weeks before my primary doctor referred me to a neurosurgeon for follow up. At that office visit, I was told that the radiologist at the MRI group misinterpreted the MRI and that I indeed had a left far lateral disk herniation. I read up on this diagnosis and it can be commonly missed by radiology. I did receive a bill for there diagnostic service but I refused to pay for a misread MRI causing me a delay in treatment and pain and suffering. After disputing the bill, I was told that the radiology would not change her opinion and that I would need to pay the bill. Right now I am awaiting surgery to repair that disk herniation. This radiologist won't admit her mistake and is arrogant and conceited (I even sent over the documentation from the neurosurgeons notes). Obviously they don't care about their patients, just their wallets!!
