Bridge First Insurance - Dave golfing at the Travelers leadership conference

    Bridge First Insurance

I strongly do not recommend Bridge First Insurance. My experience with them has been frustrating,…read morecostly, and revealing of serious gaps in their knowledge and customer care. I had an SR22 filing, a legal requirement that only the insurance company can see--not the customer. In June 2025, I sold my car and canceled the title. I then asked Bridge First to cancel my insurance. They did so without warning me that canceling an active SR22 policy would lead to automatic suspension of my driver's license. The cancellation was processed by Jessica, with no mention of the SR22, no questions asked, and no warning. A simple reminder would have saved me from losing my license, paying $175 in fees, and going through the stress of reinstating my driving privileges. When I called to understand what went wrong, I spoke with Wade, who was dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of assisting, he said it wasn't their responsibility to check my file or remind me about the SR22. Worse, he tried to shift the blame to Progressive, insisting that they--not Bridge First--should have warned me. He also claimed he couldn't discuss the SR22 further unless I showed it to him or got it from the DMV--a clear sign he doesn't understand that SR22 filings are only visible to insurance providers, not consumers. As a result, I wasted another hour on hold with the DMV, only to confirm what Bridge First should have known all along. This is unacceptable. Bridge First Insurance acts as if they are only here to sell policies--not to support or protect their customers. They take no responsibility when things go wrong, and their staff clearly lack basic knowledge about what they're selling. They also refused to continue communication, leaving me to clean up the mess alone. If you're looking for a company that understands insurance and values its customers, look elsewhere. Bridge First will not stand by your side, and their negligence will cost you time, money, and unnecessary stress. They do not deserve the ratings they currently have.

I've been working with Rosanna at this office for about 7 years now…read more I've had a lot of experiences with a lot of different businesses over the course of my career. The service that I get from Rosanna is the best service that any business from any industry has ever given me. Normally you have to be Prince or Warren Buffet to get this kind of service. A few examples: * My mortgage provider made some serious mistakes and almost missed the closing deadline for buying my house. They called me 2 hours before the deal was supposed to close telling me they needed insurance on the house or the deal would not close. Rosanna was working half days from home because she just had a newborn child. I called and left a message and she called me back in two minutes, got details on the house, then coordinated with the bank and lawyers to get everything taken care of before the closing deadline two hours later. * The bank for my car loan made a mistake with some paperwork regarding the insurance that I was supposed to have. I made one call to to Rosanna and she got on the phone with them worked everything out with them without me having to do anything. * She is both patient and knowledgeable, She's always takes the time to explain things to me when I ask. She is an excellent communicator. She's also never been in a "rush" to get me off the phone. She spends as long as I want explaining things to me. This is saying a lot because I tend to delve in to things very deep. Its a pain in the ass to explain things to me because I ask a lot of obscure questions and don't take things at face value. Rosanna is one of the only people who hasn't eventually gotten fed up with me. These are just a couple examples. This kind of thing happens all the time while working with Rosanna. I call her, she gets some basic information from me, then works a whole bunch of complicated stuff out with a bunch of different people and I don't have to do anything.

This agent's office is very poorly run and they are unable to understand or explain basic billing…read morepractices. I cancelled my policies in May and was charged for the renewal in June. Upon trying to contact them to understand why, I was given multiple reasons that were inconsistent and false (I cancelled too late (even though I have a confirmation letter of the cancellation date), my new State Farm agent was applying the payment to the new policies (not accurate for state to state transfers), and finally that I lost a multi line discount in February (which was never communicated to us and still doesn't make sense why I would be charged in June)). Roshanna was rude to me and consistently spoke over me and even called my new agent and was rude to them and misled me about their conversation. They won't let you actually speak to Craig when asked and consistently say he is busy or in meetings. She claimed she would have billing put together a statement for me - which is interesting that a statement needs to be created for something I was already charged for with no paper trail. This office is very dishonest and misleading in my experience. Highly recommend insuring elsewhere.

I have Ray as my insurance agent for several years by now. I have always been happy with the…read moreservices I received from him and his staff. What made me come here and write a review about him is a recent incident I encountered. A few weeks ago, I received a letter from another insurance company that claimed my car was involved in an accident with one of their clients. After I called this insurance company and learned that someone damaged one of their client's car, and that the client claimed that s/he had a anonymous note with my car's plate number on it. I told them that neither I nor my car was involved in any accident recently. I thought I clarified everything through the phone call until I received a second letter from this insurance company. They said that they had paid their client, and now wanted me to reimburse them for the expenses. I have never experienced anything as ridiculous as this. They accused me of causing their client's damage simply based on an anonymous note! Since I was never involved in any accident, there was no reason for me to contact my own insurance company. But I had no idea how I should respond to the letters. I wasn't sure whether I could get any help, but decided to give Ray's office a call anyway. I told his staff that I'm not filling any claim, but just need some advice on the letters I received. His staff asked me to forward the letters to his office. Within an hour after I sent the letters, I got an email from Ray himself. He said he had an answer, but needed to double check before giving me any suggestion. That made me feel a little better even though I still didn't know how to handle the situation. A day later, I got another email from Ray. He said he's waiting for one more confirmation and would get back to me soon. I figured this could be good news, although I still hadn't got any advice. At least he's cautious and didn't want to mislead me. When his suggestions finally came, that's what really surprised me. His answers were several pages long! Based on his industry experience, he first explained to me why this insurance company sent me the letters, then analyzed several scenarios under which my car's plate number might end up on the anonymous note, and laid out the possible outcomes. More importantly he explained to me how Allstate could protect me under each scenario. He also gave me several suggestions on what I should or should not do. When I had a few follow-up questions, he immediately wrote back, with another a few page long email! You have to realize that I was not buying any new service from him, and he was not trying to sell me anything. I was just asking for some advice, which he was not obligated to give. Instead, he went above and beyond, and provided me with such detailed and well-thought explanations and suggestions. This incident turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I feel I'm not only well protected by Allstate, but also got a good learning opportunity. And all of this is because of Ray's willingness to go the extra mile to help his clients.

***Avoid doing business with this place***…read more I waited a few weeks to write this review. I wanted a level head. After years of being with Allstate and Ray Manfredi, we got tired of it. The lack of response and treating us like we were bothering them when asking something. They were happy to take our money and keep pushing things that we told them we were not interested in. When we did cancel and leave, I called to get details about a refund. I was then talked down to by Ray. Mind you this was the first time I was able to get him on the phone in two years. I got to the point talking with Ray I lost my temper and had to tell him to do his job. After we have completely got away from him, he sent an email to our new insurance company telling them they don't know how to do business and were acting illegally.
