The board outside said 'samosa chat' and we were sold. We got one of that and a mango lassi. The chat had raw mangi pieces in it. That is as authentic as it can get with Indian chats, raw mango ! Yummm. The chat was very tasty, perfectly spicy and it came with a little raitha, probably to help the stomach digest, not sure. The lassi was really good too. I believe in the mornings they have various South Indian breakfast items, now... thats rare. Since it the tunnels, the timings are like 7 am to 3 pm, and parking is a challenge in downtown as we all know. But still, would like to come back to treat ourselves with the breakfast . Its a great Indian place to try out if you work in Houston downtown. The prices are not street, but that's expected.

Park Place might not seem like the most obvious location given the heavy Mexican presence along Broadway, but I would venture to say they've blended in nicely over the past couple of years. (#3) Location 2 seems a bit different from its sister spot, in that it's larger with more seating, and the added distinction of being the "Cajun Crawfish" spot as indicated in the title. They offer catering and offer some of their finest items in large trays, perfect for potlucks and celebrations. Orders can actually be placed online for added convenience. The prices are still affordable and the food is quite excellent. Their claim to fame is the bo luc lac, otherwise known to the rest of us non-Viets as "shaking beef" and they do it so well. The beef is tender and well seasoned, goes perfectly with their Vietnamese macaroni (aka nui xao). They also serve a variety of banh mi, noodle dishes, and make a mean cha gio (egg roll). I can't wait to come back to try more things as well as their crawfish. My daughter has peanut allergies so the server was very detailed to ensure we ordered dishes peanut free and even checked with the cooking staff. This was a great plus for us as we are always careful with her diet. We are fans and will return. I even joined their app which offers rewards and discounts. The interior was just right and it has a stage so they probably perform music venues in the restaurant on certain days. Great ambiance.
