Restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated inside. I thought it would be smaller looking from outside, but it is a decent size restaurant. I would definitely come back to get some of the shrimp chips and chutney, the soup, and perhaps try other dishes like fried rice next time. Pros -Loved the shrimp chips + chutney = delicious fusion combination -Enjoyed the thai soup which was perfect combo of savory, sour, and spicy -Loved the sauces for the crispy fish in tamarind sauce dish -Nice interior and table decor Cons -They do not offer complimentary water. You have to purchase Fiji water bottle for $2 or soda and other drinks. -Waiters were not as attentive. had to request a few times. -The fish texture was hard for the Crispy fish in tamarind sauce entree. It was ok, but didn't complement the sauce. The sauce was the bomb though. I think it would pair up very well with wings. -The hand pulled noodles in chili garlic sauce was ok. I think the garlic noodles + chicken was average. It was not terrible but not something I would get again. -no paper menu but scan from QR code. It took forever to load. Menu is nicely structured.

Got a minute? You have to try this place. Normally I find another cultures take on an American take of a food to be mediocre at best and it usually just becomes a mix of odd flavors. THIS IS NOT THAT. This is a Pakistani Take on traditional Chinese food and It is phenomenal. Each bite was flavorful and the basmati fried rice was fantastic. What really blew me was the red hot and sour soup. Yes RED. There is a red tomato base soup and a white vinegar taste soup. The red I just couldn't stop eating. I barely had room for the corn soup, firecracker shrimp, dumplings and what has to be the absolutely best take on generals chicken I've ever had. As for the heat usually noticeable in Pakistani classics they are present but more palatable. It's more of a touch than a smack. As for the restaurant itself. It is immaculately clean. I was even embarrassed I had dropped a little soup on the table. You can see into the kitchen through large rolling doors and everything was absolutely spotless. The ambiance is a modern Chinese style and the service was stellar. No less than three servers checked in my status and Hamna was right there with her eye always scanning the patrons should any need arise.

Ginsoy Extreme Chinese blew me away. The flavors were bold and fresh and every dish tasted high quality. Portions were huge, beautifully presented, and served piping hot. We ordered Red Hot and Sour Soup, Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken Fried Rice, Manchurian Chicken, Chicken Chili, and Dry Beef Fry and every single dish was delicious. The soup had the perfect heat, the noodles and rice were packed with flavor, and the chicken and beef were tender and rich with sauce. Shout out to our server Muhammad who went above and beyond even during a busy rush. Service was fast, the food was fresh, and we left happy with leftovers. If you love great food and generous portions, Ginsoy Extreme Chinese is a must try. We cannot wait to come back.

Had an amazing experience here! The food was really good--slightly on the spicy side for me, but incredibly flavorful and well-balanced. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The ambiance and overall vibe were excellent. The interior décor was beautiful, and the place was spotless, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff truly stood out. Everyone was welcoming and hospitable, and a special shoutout to our server, Zunaira. Since it was our first visit, she was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helped us choose some fantastic dishes--and we loved every single one of her recommendations. Service was impressively quick, and the food was well-presented and full of flavor. We started with hot and sour soup, followed by spicy chicken Schezwan wontons, spicy Schezwan chicken, classic chili dry beef, and roasted garlic rice--everything was delicious and hit the spot. Honestly, I just wish we had a place like this in Northern California, closer to Sacramento. Would absolutely come back and highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves bold flavors, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere!

My friends and I came here for dinner. It was meh. The food was pretty small for the price . Especially with the dumplings. The cost of six dumplings was 17 bucks.. the garlic rice was basically sprinkled with garlic on top. It didn't taste like it was cooked altogether. The beef chicken was not tender or easy to bite apart.. The picture and the quality of the food didn't really amaze me or a stick out. Almost really hard to say I felt satisfied. Everything did have a kick if you're into spicy food. But overall, the food was... just meh. The staff was... meh. They do not offer tapwater you have to buy a bottle of water but won't tell you that tap water wasn't an option. The "bar" is where you just enter the restaurant. The tables and chairs were steady and there's free parking out front .

Finally got the chance to go to @ginsoy_usa, I have been to the locations in Karachi many times. I was very excited to try it here in the US. we ordered multiple items like the Hot & Sour Soup, Dynamite Shrimp, Spicy Chickn Schezwan Wontons, Chicken Manchurian, and Crispy Bejing Beef. first off, the Spicy Chicken Schezwan Wontons were amazing, very flavorful. another item that I really enjoyed was the Crispy Bejing Beef, perfectly seasoned with a kick to it. Overall we enjoyed our meal.

So we finally got to try this famous Pakistani Chinese place after trying once and having a two hour wait on a Saturday we try to go on a weekday and of course we were seated right away. We got recommendations but the hot and sour soup with white was to die for it had a bit of citrus and a bit of home with it. It wasn't your typical hot and sour soup. The quantities were amazing along with the food quality. I see why this is a hype here in Richmond. It was a bit confusing with the waiter situation, but other than that the service was great food was delectable and it wasn't your ordinary Chinese. You can come here as a family girls night any night ambience is in the middle. The chicken, I would definitely get it again. I love a saucy sweet spicy chicken, and this was the perfect blend along with the noodles. Will be back, now serving lunch!

Service and vibe of the place is good. Pretty quick to get the food out and plenty of space. I think the food though was a bit pricy for what we got and didn't taste like it was worth what we paid. Its a Pakistani restaurant even if the dishes say they are Asian style. The flavorings are all Pakistani which isn't bad but was wishing they were more Asian style. But my main issue is this place is pretty expensive. Ended up paying around $95 for two people which, for the amount of things we ordered felt like a lot.

I had such a good time at Ginsoy, a Karachi favorite that just opened here in Houston. I tried the dynamite shrimp, white pepper hot and sour soup, Beijing beef, chicken chow mein, chicken Manchurian and fried rice. We had to get the mint lemonade to complete the meal! Everything was so delicious and really hit the spot. I made sure to tell the waiter I wanted mild spice since everything was super spicy last time my sister went. They adjusted it for us and even though it still had a kick, it was perfect. The individual portions are pretty big, especially the rice. It's a little overpriced, but the food and vibe made up for it. One thing I did find odd was that when you ask for water, they bring bottled water. You're dining at a nice restaurant and drinking from plastic bottles? We also had to wait a while for our food (I think the waiter forgot to put in our order) but he was really sweet and apologetic, so it wasn't a big deal. Overall, the food was amazing so I'll be back with an appetite!

We had originally planned on trying out their buffet, but we showed up a bit too late where there were only bits of food left, and they weren't planning on refilling the buffet, so, we decided to stay anyway and to order off the menu..... and we're all glad we did! The interior is very spacious, casual, and clean.... and having shown up so late, there was no crowd, the place was peaceful and calm, and a great time for us to enjoy our meal.. with very good service focused only on us. I'm typically not familiar with Nepalese food, but perusing the menu, the dishes offered looked almost exactly like a typical Indian restaurant's menu, except there were some additional hybrid Indian/Chinese dishes, like the Momo dumplings that are typical and popular dish familiar to this Nepali region. Fortunately, there were four of us dining in and we were able to order a variety of dishes that sounded really yummy..... like the Steamed Chicken Momos (dumplings), Gobi Manchurian (fried cauliflower coated in a spicy sweet sauce), Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, Lamb Curry, Saag Paneer, Lachna Paratha, and Garlic Naan. How was the food? I don't eat lamb or goat so I can't comment, but the others in the group mentioned the meat was a bit tough, but the curries tasted excellent. As for everything else, I did get to try it all, and everything was so hot, fresh, and prepared just perfectly.... so yummy delicious! Not too sweet, not to salty, and just a great balance of flavors and textures. My all time favorite Indian dish being the saag paneer....pureed spinach with cubes of goat cheese....yummeee! And went great with the breads fresh out of the oven..... very happy and satisfied! This place was a great find as we all enjoyed the food here very much. Service was very good, and with a very nice, casual, and pleasant ambiance. We don't visit here very often since we're from our of town, but if we do visit again, we'll definitely be back again.

I was severely disappointed unfortunately, the beef looked like plastic, if you use the baking soda trick to soften your beef or chicken, you know that if you leave it too long it has that processed frozen dinner texture. The sauce on one had gelatinous chunks and the other was watery and the lomein was super soggy and oily. Veggies in the dishes were fresh though.
