    Chicken Curry

I went here for the first time as a night out with friends and the service was awful. We got sat and then it took 15 minutes for someone to come take out orders, then another 40 before I even got my food. The service took so long I had to take my food to go. I ordered the chicken curry and rice, and the curry was absolutely awful. Despite having full chicken inside of it, there were also loose bones that I kept having to pick out. I also didn't get my rice that I ordered, and instead I was given something else entirely. Update: This food gave me food poisoning. I don't know what they put in my curry, but I'm never coming back here.

Mixed Grill Paneer Butter Masala Garlic Naan

It was the first time trying this place. My wife and I were looking for a good Indian restaurant since we just moved to Katy, Tx. We tried the mix grill, butter paneer masala, Po tote samosa and garlic naan. Everything was delicious. My wife loved the ambiance. My favorite was the tandoori chicken in the mixed grill. Chicken was moist and the grill charred bits were delicious.

Even the white rice was bad. How??

Wow the food here is...not good. I only came here because my go to Indian places were closed and I regret it. There is no balance of flavors in their food. Just bland, but spicy and in some cases too salty. I never waste food but I threw out everything I ordered and ended up eating a frozen pizza. Their food is that gross. The minute I opened the biryani bowl, it smelled like Shan biryani masala I use when I'm not inclined to make biryani from scratch. Unfortunately they must have used less of the masala than I use bc the rice was severely lacking in flavor. And every other dish was similarly disappointing. Even the raita and plain white rice tasted weird. I knew I should have just waited until my favorite Indian place opened. I'm beyond annoyed I spent my money at Hot Bits. This was some of the worst Indian food I have ever eaten and I'm wasting food and money because the thought of eating any more of it is nauseating. Nice decor in the restaurant though. I do not recommend and I will not be back.

This is a small Indian spot in south Katy that we love. The owner is usually always there and takes great care of us. In fact, he even knows what/how we're going to order as soon as we come in. The food is always delicious, but sometimes inconsistent with spice. We don't mind spicy food, but sometimes is much spicer than we expect. Try the Chili Chicken, the Cheese Nan, and the Butter Nan. You're welcome!

    Chicken Curry

Tried their chicken biryani and chicken curry for a quick dinner fix. Biryani was good with nice fluffy rice. Amount was good, enough for 2 light eaters. Ratio of rice to chicken was balanced. Not the best biryani in the area but decent option if you are in the neighborhood. Chicken curry was simple, it came with plain jira rice. When I opened it, it was not appetizing at all. Gravy was kind of lumpy and meat pieces were not tender. Not really a dish I'd try again. Place was nice and clean. My order was ready within the said 20-25 mins. Staff member was wearing mask. I may return to try out other dishes. I'll update my review if there is any changes.

I don't remember which one this is, but its chicken, and it's DAMN GOOD

Can't say enough good things about this spot. Meaty dishes, full of flavor, and such nice welcoming people. Masada, Chicken appetizer, cauliflower, more chicken, Naan, I love all the food I've gotten from here! ORDER IT NOW DAMMIT!

Amazing Indian food. The smells inside are intoxicating. The food is beyond amazing. The breads were beyond what I could have imagined. The lamb korma sauce was perfectly blended and made a wonderful "dip" for all the breads. The tandoori chicken was cooked perfectly. It was still moist and perfectly flavored. I can't wait to come back and try more off the menu!

I tried so many Thai places looking for a Thai yellow curry with chicken that's comparable- and just could not find it anywhere. A friend mentioned this place, and well, I live in the Heights so this is a trek for me. I will travel for yellow curry though, so trek it I did! I'm so glad I did. This place has now become one of my go-to's and has been added to my rotation. I go pretty often, and I dread the drive everytime until I get a taste of their food. It's also where I take my out of town visitors- it's that good. Located within a strip mall, but it's got a cute ambience, with low key music, and wallpaper that pretties the place up. My regular order includes their Thai tea, cheese rolls, yellow curry with chicken, pad Thai (wrapped in an omelet- so cool!) and their fried rice. Alllllll of it is so good. Oh whoops and my husband loves their beef drunken noodles. The servers are all super friendly and always helpful with suggestions. I couldn't recommend this place enough. But also don't go so much that I can't get a table please!

It doesn't feel overly greasy at all either. ***Cilantro sauce --- this is a very noteworthy sauce here. The sauce is rich and cream by but not overbearing while the cilantro flavor is very pronounced and refreshes the palate. ***Fries - EXTREMELY crispy!!! This is honestly one of the best rides I've ever had. It's well seasoned and not overly salted at all. The crunch on every bite is amazing! It could not get any better. ***Sandwich (level: honey butter) --- honey butter was a bit lackluster in flavor and texture. Of note, the Whataburger honey butter sauce is much better. The staff here are extremely friendly. Elizabeth was very cheerful and helpful. This added to our pleasant experience and energy. Parking may be a bit tricky depending on what time of the day you go. But wait, there's more....... The exterior could definitely use some work. Host stand plopped outside. Inside felt a little crowded. Wine cellar-ish. Mother's Day, a bit chaotic for all restaurants. Took 10-15 minutes to be greeted after being sat. No big deal, I get it. Santiago was great. We did the mystery mimosa experience which was fun! We go to order our food and BOOM!! This is where they get you. It was all a lie. A very deceiving menu written in a way where you think you're going to get oxtails and jollof rice plus appetizer and dessert for $55 per person. Because that's a great price, not really a deal, just a great price. WRONG. Santiago had to clarify that it was $55 EXTRA ON TOP OF $42 PER PERSON. SO $97 PER PERSON FOR OXTAILS AND JOLLOF RICE, AN APP & DESSERT. RIDICULOUS! TOTALLY DISHONEST AND DECEIVING. Write it as $55 additional per person, so everyone knows what they're getting into before they reserve their table. Because Santiago admitted everyone he served that day was shocked at the additional cost. Not wanting to ruin my wife's FIRST Mother's Day, I brushed it off and still continued with the order. Appetizer: tequeño & empanada. Bland, came out cold and after our entrees came out. Entrees: Oxtail & Jollof rice. I loved it. Flavor was great. Just wish there was a lot more. For $97, you expect to have 6-8 large oxtails and a side of rice. What i got was 4 very tiny oxtails and a full plate of rice!! Peri peri chicken & jollof rice- flavor was nice and smoky. But again, for $97, you expect more than 2 avg size leg quarters and a full plate of rice. Dessert: They were out of key lime pie by noon. I saw the cheesecake, it was a thin plain slice, so we opted for their seis leches cake. It was not good. It was not soaked enough, very dry. The reason the score wasn't lower was because service was great, the entrees tasted great and they gave each mother a single rose and Mother's Day card which had a pin in it that said best mom ever. Which made my wife's day even that much better. Thank you Chef Casey. But I don't think I would visit again solely based on the deceiving menu and small portions that are not worth the additional cost.
