Easy to find, small parking lot, 4 tables inside. Good customer service. Small portion but it's just right and we'll priced. Mango lassis (5/5) Chai latte (5/5) strong and flavorful Chicken pop (4/5) crispy and delicious Butter chicken (5/5) Garlic naan (5/5) Overall, good Indian food and I will be coming back. They also have a big dessert selection as well.

The butter chicken was amazing! It had a bit of spice, which was unexpected but still really good. The portion size was generous and satisfying. The garlic naan was delicious and added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

Omg last minute my friend and I changed our plans and wanted to meet up midway from SL and Katy. I found this family own Indian restaurant and it did not disappoint! We got here right at 11am when they opened order order lunch. 5/5 butter chicken 5/5 chicken lollipop 5/5 mango lassi 5/5 garlic naan. Everything was so tasty full of flavor very reasonable prices all that food was $40 and we couldn't even finish it. I'll def be back here to make a event order soon! It was so good!

I've been fortunate to travel extensively over the past 20 years. I love Indian cuisine and I'm always looking for a great dining experience. Yesterday I had the unique opportunity to visit Mahek Indian Restaurant. Don't let the store front location fool you. This is an outstanding and cozy place. I felt like I was at home. The food (fresh) is excellent and the customer service is stellar. If you're looking for great Indian cuisine, a home like ambiance, and customer service with aplomb, then look no further.

This spot is so close to my house. It has solid foods. It's a bit limited on choices but still good. Prices are reasonable also.

The setup is partly self-serve: you place your order at the register, take your number plate, and choose any table you want. You grab your cutlery from the station near the counter corner, and the server will bring your food to your table. You also handle your own cleanup afterward. We love their tea, which is strong and comes with sugar on the side. Their samosa, dal vada, and dosa are also favorites of ours. However, we tried their chaats, and they were a complete no-go for us. They have a very extensive menu, and we're eager to explore more of it. I prefer eating here over the Triveni location in Katy, as the Katy spot is often plagued by bugs flying around due to the attached grocery store and open-ended area. This restaurant maintains a nice and clean ambiance, and I hope they keep up the quality of their food and service.

When you come, go to the front and order like you would in any fast food place. Pay and bring the number to your table and they'll bring the food asap. There is self service for water, napkin, and utensils. After you're done, you need to out your trash away in a nearby trash can. Parking out front is big and free. One last thing, I'm really surprise this place doesn't have a lot of Yelp reviews. It def deserves so much more awareness. Really vegetarian friendly. And if you love spicy food, this is the place!

For anyone looking for even remotely decent Indian food at a price that makes more sense, there are several very "average" quality restaurants that still outshine Monk's. 3 stars because the chicken was pretty tasty!

Flavors were amazing, and we enjoyed it all. Only complaint is that there was such a small amount of chicken and goat in the two dishes--like 80% sauce. Although we took it to go, the inside of the restaurant was very nice and clean with plenty of tables. Will be back.

We had the family garlic naan I forgot which karahi but the chicken breast with a cream based sauce, mango lassi, chole (chickpeas), lahori fish. It took me this long to go because I kept looking at their prices and couldn't justify, but don't be like me and let it scare you away. The portions are definitely more than enough for 2. They are not stingy with their portion size. Looks like their weekday lunch prices are pretty decent so I'm going to have to go back for that for sure. Pretty much everything we had was great. I will say next time I want to try a more traditional tomato based Karahi. Family size Naan was $10 it's probably like 3 regular naan super fluffy not dense so it's easy to eat. Chole was perfect great flavor all around chickpeas were soft. Mango lassi was good but I think it was too heavy for me so I may pass on it next time and leave more room for food. Not sure what kind of fish they use for the lahori fish but the flavors were great, I feel like it should come with fries and I wish it was another type of fish but otherwise on point. The Karahi was chicken breast, really good flavor if you are introducing someone to Pakistani food,it's cream based so it's milder but still has great flavor. My bill was around $87 and I definitely had leftovers. I suggest not going alone if you are getting off the regular menu and not weekday lunch.
