Once he was done I walked him back to the front yard, I said thank you for coming out and he said he'd email me the estimate. After several emails asking for an invoice and scheduling options, Robert finally communicated and said he would start the job in two weeks. And then silence. No invoice for a deposit, no start date, nothing. His lack of communication was very concerning and when I mentioned this to him in yet another email, he got back to me and said he would send everything over. And that was the last I heard from him. Robert from TRJ Construction was great to work with. He responded to my initial inquiry immediately and was able to come the following day to give us an estimate. The work was scheduled for the week we selected and Robert and his team arrived early on the first morning and got to work. We replaced an existing concrete walk and brick patio with a new concrete slab. TRJ managed the demolition of the existing concrete, and the necessary prep on the first day. The original plan was for the project to take three days but Robert was able to have the concrete delivered early so they actually finished in two days. We chose a brush finish for easy upkeep and it looks amazing. We are planning on having Robert back to apply a stain once the concrete is completely cured. We hired TRJ construction to replace our driveway and walkway this summer. They did a fantastic job. See their website for full details on quality of work. Here is why we thought they were awesome. 1) They matched the surface finish to the existing walkway 2) They fixed a crooked column when setting the concrete 3) Deep stress relief joints, rebar reinforced, ground leveling, pulling roots, and all the work done in 2days. I thought I needed a new driveway surface so I called to schedule a site visit. After examination it was determined that I only needed to have a fresh layer of sealer. I also wanted to have the area under my carport paved with asphalt. I called this company on a Monday. We set up an estimate for Wednesday at 11:30 AM. I called them at 11:45 when they still hadn't shown up. I expect people to call if they are going to be late. The gentleman had the boss of the company call me back five minutes later. He said they got behind and would need to reschedule me for the afternoon. When I told him it would have to be before 3:30 PM, he suggested tomorrow. I said no thank you and hung up. Obviously this was a forgotten appointment.
