The place is nothing glamorous. Just a place to cut your hair, chat a bit and leave. But that's totally okay with me! I wish i got the name of the person that cut my hair but I hope next time I'm there he's there. Cash only so I know that for next time!

Once it's time for said appointment the son (in training) nor the "owner" express any apologies for the wait. In fact Harold the barber/owner has an attitude that I even brought up the fact we were waiting. Harold was putting his hands up telling me he is respectful to his other customers. No Harold, you were rude. You know these places cancel appointments for even being 5-10 minutes late. We are at the appointment 10 minutes early and still waited 30 minutes past the appointment time. During the appointment no one is speaking at all. At the conclusion of the appointment he did not provide my son a lollipop and reported having no more although my nephews who had appointments 30 minutes prior both had lollipops and reported seeing a drawer full. That is how Harold the barber and his son treat CHILDREN when they are upset with adults. Harold reported his son being "in training and learning", however, good customer service is explaining the issue in advance and expressing your gratitude for being patient and still waiting. Terrible, terrible terrible. Also the son "in training" costs the same amount as a skilled barber...interesting. They sped off in their fancy cars and didn't look back at the conclusion of the late appointment. No bueno Harold Sr ad Jr no bueno. Also the haircut was not good at all.

A Chime of Chaos, a Staff of Stars (But Seriously, That Doorbell...)…read more For over a decade, this salon has been my sanctuary, a haven of hair-related miracles. My stylist? A veritable Michelangelo of the mane, a Picasso with a blow dryer. The staff? Angels in jerseys, their smiles as bright as freshly foiled highlights. Truly, they are the best. However, a shadow has fallen upon this once-serene landscape, a discordant note in an otherwise harmonious symphony: the HORRENDOUS DOOR CHIME. Oh, the chime! It's not merely a 'ding' or a polite 'ring-a-ling.' No, dear reader, it's a full-blown, orchestral assault, a sonic tsunami of Westminster chimes, the kind usually reserved for grand cathedrals or the dramatic climax of a period drama. Imagine, if you will: A chime that booms, a clock tower's might, Eight notes descend, in blinding, sonic light. From ceiling speakers, it crashes down with glee, A grand, loud fanfare, for all the world to see. Each entry, each exit, a thunderous, bold sound, As if Big Ben himself had suddenly been unbound. The staff, they hear it, but from a distant shore, While we, the patrons, endure the sonic roar. A mandate's echo, in each "Welcome in," A monotone greeting, where warmth should begin. The speaker's intent, to welcome with grace, But instead, it's a torture, in this hallowed space. This isn't just a chime; it's a declaration of war on tranquility. It's the sound of a grandfather clock having a midlife crisis, amplified through speakers designed to reach the deepest recesses of the salon. It's so loud, I half expect a flock of pigeons to descend from the ceiling, pecking at imaginary seeds. Dear Sport Clips of my beloved Pflugerville @ Stone Hill Town Center: I implore you, for the sake of your loyal clientele and the sanity of your staff: Please, silence this sonic beast! Replace it with a gentle tinkle, a soft melody, or even a polite knock. Anything but this relentless, ear-splitting symphony of chimes. The staff and my stylist deserve a tranquil environment, and we, your customers, deserve to enter and exit without feeling like we've just walked into a Victorian clock convention. Thank you for your consideration. And please, for the love of good hair, put an end to the Westminster 8 note volume at 11 chime in your lobby. I'll take this review down and replace it with a glowing 5 star when done, I do so swear.

The haircut was fine. But it felt like we were swindled…read more My kids got a coupon from their elementary school for a free haircut. I decided to take advantage of the coupon to get my son's hair cut. I signed up, checked in and I showed the coupon to the stylist when we arrived. Before starting she asked if I wanted to give him a shampoo. I said no, assuming that would be an add-on. Once she was done she called me back and said a shampoo and scalp massage were included. I naively believed her and consented. When she rang us up a few minutes later I was surprised at the total and asked if she was going to enter the coupon. She said she did. When I questioned about the "free haircut for new clients" she told me we had done the MVP package and that wasn't included. It's hard to not see it as dishonesty when you're told something is included, and it isn't. In summary, we went into a place thinking we were taking advantage of a coupon to save some money and try out a new place to get my son't hair cut (his first time there), and somehow ended up paying twice as much as we do at Great Clips. That's not how coupons usually work.

I booked an appt with Jonathan for the next day but there were a few others who had open slots within 24 hrs. I chose Jonathan due to seeing he had scissor cutting skills specifically since my son's hair was super long and he didn't want a fade. When we arrived it was poppin' inside. There were about 9 or 10 barbers working and all had clients back to back while we were there. The space is nice, smells a good and is clean. The barbers use high quality equipment and the furniture is not worn or torn. They play nice upbeat music and the staff was all friendly. Jonathan did a wonderful job taking his time getting to know what style cut we went in for, looking up different photo options online, getting everything just right and making sure to talk my son through how to style his new cut. I definitely noticed how highly skilled all the barbers there were while I was waiting and every client left happy. They make sure they are not sending anyone out looking crazy or dissatisfied. Worth every penny. I highly recommend QQ and my son wants to return when he's ready for his next cut.

I posted in my mom's group and a few recommended Q/Q, they were pretty booked but it said they accepted walk-in's so we took a chance and I'm SO glad we did. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the gentleman asked a few questions then paired us up with Marcelo. Since we were a walk in we of course had a short wait but it was great getting to see all of the barbers at work. There were maybe 12 working and all were super skilled. My son was admiring all the time a d detail they put into their fades and cuts. The only thing I didn't love is that they don't sweep between clients so the floor was super slippery in my sandals with all the floor hair. That would NOT stop me from returning or recommending just something I noticed. Don't let the generic "barber" sign on the building scare you away either; these men are truly skilled and worth the price and drive.
