It wasn't until I was driving home from work one day that I became stuck near the entrance to the Cross Island from the Southern State. What happened was when I stepped on the gas pedal, the car stopped going, I drifted to the side of the highway and pulled over. I was having nightmares about how much the repair would cost since the situation lead me to believe it was a transmission issue. It turned out to be $10 issue. You see, the plug from my transmission broke loose thereby causing all the transmission fluid to leak out, that will cause the car to not go when you step on the gas. I swear by there honesty and integrity. They could have easily hosed me for a far more expensive repair and I would not have known the difference. To me, that is important because there is trust. I started going here 3 years ago. I moved to Washington DC and I still come back here for my oil changes and car issues. For a female it's hard to find reliable and trustful mechanics that won't rip you off. A good example, I was there earlier this year. Asked them to do a one over on my car. Mr. Miele then asked me about my driving habits and told him weekends only max 5 miles with the occasional drives to VA. He told me to come back in the summer to change my brakes then. I live down the street so I walked up. The guy at the front desk moved beyond slow and couldn't even recommend anyone locally for a tow truck. He didn't even know what a tow truck was and he seemed lost. I know, Night Shift guys pumping gas may not know who to recommend. I got a tow after hitting google and had the car dropped off. Spoke to the owner the following day at 7. Explain the situation with my car with the ABS lights. He told me he'll look at it at some point during the day. That I just gotta give him time cause he's jammed up and to call in the afternoon to see if they had a chance to check it out. I called at 1 o'clock and a lady answer the phone told me they were just about to put the car into the bay to work on and call back in about an hour. I call back in an hour. The owner picks up and start screaming at me like a lunatic. I've never been spoken to such a way in all my years working customer service and dealing with the public; he was screaming at me so much my boss could hear him over the phone and we were looking at each other horrified. Like I told him I understand you jammed up I was just told by the young lady you were bringing into the bay in an hour ago and call and see if you figure out what the issue was. I can't get off the phone. He would not let me get off the phone screaming at me for over a five minutes and how they still did it look at the issue on the car yet. I called him back later in the day as I'm about to leave work at 4 and I told him I just need to know if you have an idea what the issue is and if I have to make arrangements for the following day for a ride; and again screaming at me like a wild lunatic to only call me a half an hour later and they fixed the car quoted me 300 when I got there it went up to 500 and change. And again he kept yelling at me that I wasn't giving them time and how dare I call. I refuse to do business with them again and I do not recommend them to anyone there is no reason to speak to a human being that way to carry on like a psychopath and as it is, I gotta take the car now to another mechanic this morning cause the brakes aren't working after what they did. Very poor customer service attitude, and I am incredibly angry and disappointed in the way I was treated and spoken to and that the amount of money I spent I gotta still take my car to another Mechanic. If I could get this place a negative star I absolutely would. I would never do business with him again. I won't even get gas with them again. I've never dealt with such horrible customer service.
