The outdoor mall was extremely clean and absolutely beautiful. We browsed in and out of a few different stores and everyone was very nice and attentive. The one store that caught our attention was Laderach, which was a Swiss chocolate store. We were able to sample truffles and chocolate bars and it was probably the best tasting chocolate we've ever had. We also stopped in to Coach and I ended up buying my daughter a cute, Coach bag. With stores like Zara, Fabletics, Alo, Louis Vuitton and Nordstrom, you truly get a great, shopping experience at this mall; there's something here for everyone. There's also ample seating as well. There are multiple levels to this mall and a mix of higher end stores and regular mall stores (but no bath and body works surprisingly). The parking garage can also be a bit confusing so be careful and read the signs in there. There's a handful of dine in restaurants, a small food court, a AMC Theatre and multiple game venues for entertainment, so there's more than just shopping. I'd recommend coming to this shopping mall in the spring or summer, but definitely not the winter considering it's a lot of walking outside.

It makes sense because it's in Burr Ridge, and those rich people need to go shopping. The mall has most of the popular trendy stores, and some others to help make it more unique. Among these are Barbara's Books. However there's a lot of clothing stores for women. About all there is almost. There's places like Bath & Body Works and Topaz. It has a pretty nice outdoor area. There's a greenway with a fireplace and seating around it. Getting here by car is about the only way, and it makes for headaches. It sucks parking. There's never any open spaces in front of the stores, so you have to go far away to find these.

As for the mall itself there's plenty to look at. The location is located close to major highways and there's bus routes. Has a lot of impact on the local economy. It opened in 1971 by the Taubman Company and is now owned by Simon. Has a few main anchors. There's currently JC Penney, Macy's, Nordstrom, and Primark. Has a couple of floors. On the first floor is Ben And Jerry's, Crocs, Express, Hollister, Starbucks, and TCBY. On the top floor is Anthropologie, Auntie Anne's, Eddie Bauer, LEGO Store, Uncle Julio's, and Zumiez among other things. A lot of course has changed. There used to be a Rainforest Cafe and of course there used to be Sears. Got to check it out even though it's not like it used to be. It's located along Golf Road. The stores are preparing for Easter and the Spring season so there are many pretty pastels to choose from. Many of you know that my favorite color is pink. But I also enjoy a milky banana or sunshine yellow. There was plenty. I only shopped at a few stores today as hubby was working so it was easy for me to be in and out. He takes a little more time with his selections than I do. There is a really nice coffee shop that opened up in the place of Starbucks. Right next door is a macaroon shop. You can always buy mangoes, ice cream and churros. Grabbed a few items for upcoming birthday surprises and headed on my way.
