Had my wheels powder coated for $700 which was cheaper than the other estimates I had gotten. Was back and forth between new wheels vs powder coating and the Vic was straight up with me telling me what each process required and the cost for both. Knowing that they had mainly positive reviews, I trusted Tronix to install a new radio with built in navigation. This ended up not working out so well for me. They broke everything on the inside of my dashboard! My radio appeared to be working fine after waiting around for hours for a job that I was told only took about an hour, coming back a second time because they had to order a new wire for my steering wheel controls after the first one broke during installation, and my car wreaking of smoke. Things got even worse when I realized things that previously worked fine in my dashboard stopped working. When I had it taken apart by a master mechanic, there were tons of broken pieces, bent wires and everything was superglued together (which they denied they did when I called them)! I strongly encourage you to think twice before trusting these guys with your car!! Unbelievably bad practice and not worth paying hundreds of dollars for pure carelessness. read more

Terrible spent over a grand on a sound system. Never got my front speakers put in and i paid for it, then they try telling me it's another 200 for it, like I just spent a grand and you didn't even do your job this place is ass and over priced read more

I can not have had a worse experience at Tronix in Barnegat. A few years ago my father had a new stereo put into his truck and they absolutely destroyed it. He brought it back to have to fixed again to no avail. Recently my boyfriend and his family all got remote starters installed in their cars. Not ONE of them was installed correctly. They have been back several times to try to rectify the issues. I would absolutely NOT recommend this business to anyone. The staff is rude and they have no knowledge of installments. Your car will have more problems when they are finished. read more

Had a radio with built in navigation installed in our Jeep last week after the top of the line unit in our six year old Wrangler decided to stop working. Went to use the navigation on a trip to Philly for a wedding over the weekend. The navigation voice commands didnt work. I brought it back to Tronix and one of the guys jumped in and went for a ride and fixed the settings. No problems, friendly knowledgeable staff. The install was top notch too. Neat and looks factory.
