Had a craving for some churros and hubby reminded me that they're good at this place. I downloaded the app and placed an order for 2 churros (1 plain, 1 cream) and 2 personal pizzas (1 Choriqueso, 1 pepperoni/shrooms). We placed the order and picked up through drive thru. They didn't take long to make the churros and pizza. They were friendly and efficient but not sacrificing quality of food. I like that you can select crispy for your crust when you customize a pizza. The pizza was pretty good! Better than I had expected. The churros were so yummy. I've had all the flavors and all are delicious. It just depends which is a fave or craving for it. I haven't walked inside but it looks to be kept clean and they have seating and bathrooms if you plan to dine there. I recommend this spot. They have different types of pizzas that, per my hubby, likes a-lot and I love the churros. I would eat pizza here again as well. My aunt went in to the Kyle location today and was looking to purchase the promotion deal they had going on and was treated horrible by the so called assistant manager. My aunt asked her if they had the promotion still for $20 and the assistant manager told her she didn't know what she was talking about. My aunt proceeded to show her the deal they had on the outside window. She yelled at my aunt and treated her horrible. She then rang her up for the promotion and snatched her card from her hand and then threw it down on the counter. Do better pizza patron. Her attitude was so uncalled for. The pizza came out with such a thick crust, coupled with hardly any ingredients, that it was a disappointment. We also ordered two side salads, and were told that they were out of greens. Initially we were looking forward to a carne-asada , but I was told they no longer carried it, even though it was still on the menu. The restaurant itself was clean, as were the bathrooms. On the positive side, there was also ample seating. We won't be coming back. read more

I don't understand the negative comments. Everyone has the right to their own opinion. Every time I visit Pizza Patron in Kyle, it gets better. The service was great. I didn't want to build my own pizza, so I asked for a combo. The employee helping me was great. Very respectful, courteous, and professional. Although I took my order and left, I could have stayed. The restaurant is welcoming, with music. Nice, clean tables and chairs. The floors are clean as well. I recommend this restaurant. If some people had a bad experience, I'm sorry. I hope you give them another chance. I loved the pizza! read more

Their latin-inspired pizzas are incredibly good. Haven't been able to peel ourselves from the choriqueso and the chicken enchilada one. The other non-specialty picsa we go back for is the pepperoni and pineapple which are always on our order. When they first opened this location a few months ago, like any business, they had some kinks to work out. Nonetheless, the service and staff friendliness of the staff has never wavered. Today, I got on their app and ordered an item that's been recently added to their menu: Tajin wings. Good god, these are something else and taste just like you expect l: a little tangy, a little sweet, a lil salty and a lil spicy and such a great condiment to pit on chicken. These too will be on our rotation. When I got to the store, i noticed they had added a couple of aguas frescas: cucumber limeade and pineapple melon. I ordered both and let me tell you, they are deliciously refreshing! One more thing-i like my crusts well done and they do a good job with their dough. My fave though, is the Maiz (corn) crust - so crispy! And one final thing that's really impressive. As you leave, usually the management lets you know your business is appreciated, invites you back and means it. I mean, they look at you as they're saying it. Pro tip: get the app. Their times are always spot on and you can earn points for free food. read more

Decent pizza at a decent price. I was really surprised to see that they have a drive through. Nowadays, it's a must to make fresh dough onsite to remain competitive in the pizza business. They get their tomato sauce from a can. Overall, solid 3 star pizza. What they really got going from them here are employees that are friendly, and very attentive. I said I'd give it another chance and I did. Glad I did. Delivery was perfect. I ordered pizza and wings for delivery. The poor driver sat at the store forever waiting on the food and was quite apologetic. I ordered a thin, extra crisp with some veggies and a dozen wings. After getting the food, I think the pizza would have fabulous but it was stone cold. First the restaurant was running behind which is fine but it's 8 minutes tops to my house. So that means that it was cold when it left the store. So what was going on and why couldn't my pizza have been delivered when it was hot? I'll try one more time, but there's no reason to send out cold food. read more

So my first visit here started off a little rocky. I placed the order online. I was craving pizza and I had been wanting to try this new spot. I stepped away from my phone and noticed I had a missed call and voicemail. It was the pizza place telling me they were out of chocolate churros and asking if I would like to sub it for a different churro or take it off my bill. I asked to do caramel instead. When I arrived it was completely empty. Just the staff was there and they greeted me as I walked in. I got my order and it was not to my liking. Part of that was my fault because the veggie pizza was not what I was expecting. I also was given a plain churro. Maryann saved the day and made sure that I would be a return customer. She jumped in and had my pizza remade and she gave me the caramel churro which was amazing!!! She literally fixed everything with little explanation. Today I ordered another pizza for my family and cheese bread. They absolutely loved it! As a matter of fact they loved it so much they ate all the pizza and left the box on the counter. read more

In short, this is pretty good pizza with a few quirks in a convenient location, but the restaurant unfortunately seems determined to make picking up an online order as inconvenient (and slow) as possible. I was tempted to add a star or two based on the food quality, but the experience was pretty dismal, and I'm really hoping they get their act together, so I can order from them again. I placed a carryout order online. It was fairly simple, and I was given a pickup time of 20 minutes--seemed reasonable. Upon arrival, I was pleased to find a drive-through, which would be convenient for picking up my order. I had to wait for another vehicle to back out of the drive-through before pulling in, which I didn't think much of, since the area is slightly confusing, and the person could easily have pulled in by mistake. Unfortunately the mistake was mine, in thinking that Pizza Patron understood how to operate a drive-through. After pulling in and checking in at the speaker to pick up my order, I was told that the car up at the window had just placed a pizza order, and it would, therefore, take 35 minutes to get through the lane. The drive-through assistant suggested that I back out, park, and come in the store to pickup. Not so convenient after all. Let's pause and consider the idea of allowing a single order to shut down a drive-through for 35 minutes. Let's also consider that Pizza Patron is a corporate pizza chain restaurant with over 50 locations in Texas. As far as I know, they're not Little Caesars, with a hot 'n ready menu - this is made to order pizza. So the idea of operating a drive-through window that's not geared toward call-ahead or online order pickups (and doesn't have dedicated waiting zones) is pure IDIOCY. So, the situation is a nice long drive-through lane, empty, except for me and, of course, our "late planner" sitting by the window, content to burn petrol, idling their engine for the next 35 minutes, until their pizza is assembled and baked. With this in mind, I politely asked the employee if it might be possible to have the person who'd just ordered pizza pull forward to keep the lane moving. My suggestion was made entirely out of self-interest at this point, but was certainly aligned with the interest of a slow-food pizza restaurant who had invested (inexplicably) a great deal of money in a drive-through lane. Also, like many of you, my powerful insight was not gained through years of experience in the restaurant industry, but by merely visiting a Chik-fil-a or Whataburger a single time. I thought perhaps the girl was new, and this advice might jog her memory or cognitive process as to the proper procedure. Imagine my surprise when I was informed it was not possible to move the car forward, and instead was given some incomprehensible explanation of how a drive-through works, complete with teenage attitude. Obviously, attitude aside, this is clearly a management problem--a business operations problem. Either the staff is not trained, or Pizza Patron really is inexperienced (or silly) enough to try to operate a drive through in this fashion. Clearly, a "late planner" should be directed to a conveniently located, marked parking zone, where they can wait the 35 minutes for their pizza to be carried out to them. And the line can move on. As it is, I was lucky to be able to back out of the long drive-through lane without being pinned in. Although, by this point, my assertiveness was probably triggered enough to get any situation handled that I could have some direct control over (i.e. anything other than this ridiculous drive-through and the attitudes of $hitty teenagers). So I parked in front of the store and entered. It wasn't not too busy inside, although there were 4-5 customers in line at the register. There seemed to be an area to the left where one could claim online orders, but it was unmarked and unstaffed. Coool. No expedited pick-up lane. So, I get in line and wait. I see an employee placing pizza boxes in a warmer unit, and I figure at least my pizza should still be warm by the time I finally get through the line. Gotta take the positives where you can. Having waited through the ordering line, ironically, it seems like most of the pizza patrons (see what I did?) were there to carryout, rather than to place orders, after all. So, that makes perfect sense, right? Sit at a drive-through window for an eternity, car idling, to order and then wait for pizza to bake and paint to dry; while the folks that order and pay ahead are forced to park and stand in line inside. This is peak efficiency, people. All the rage these days In the end, none of this matters much, because after all the waiting (25 min. after my pickup time), I learn it will be another 10 minutes! Positives: the checkout clerk was nice. I actually liked the pizza. The quesosticks were overcooked and oily, but still pretty tasty. I'll give these guys another shot and update this review. I just called to place an order. It was 6:45pm when I called. I was informed that there was an hour wait for the pizza and I said that was fine. I was then informed that they close at 8pm and they would not have time to make my order. Seems like people just don't want to work. read more

This is definitely more of a takeaway or delivery place, as the interior is pretty sparse (like, there are tables and chairs but they don't even have trash cans for you to clean up after yourself if you're going to dine in), but I thought the pizza itself was really good! I got a Chicken Enchilada personal pizza; it didn't have anything in the way of enchilada flavoring, but it was chicken, cheese, onions and a little cilantro in a creamy base with a tasty chewy crust and I liked it. read more

Terrible delivery experience, clearly both of the pizzas had been dropped at some point(obviously not sure if that was at the store or during the delivery driver delivery). I called the store to let them know and the lady laughed saying it was probably the driver, she offered a refund but I had to tell her my name since she didn't ask for it, very weird and unprofessional. read more

Waited at the drive thru for over 15 minutes and staff saw I was there and still did not acknowledge me. You could see staff talking and just simply ignoring us at the window. I had to get down and get my food. Once I got my pizza from the front it was burnt and when I got my churros they were broken in multiple pieces. read more

We've been there several times since they opened. Friendly staff. Their pizzas are good, although they can be a little Chintzy with the meats on the one topping pizza. The manager and staff were very accommodating when an order wasn't quite right, and remedied any issues right away. That speaks volumes of the business and it's customer service. The restaurant seems to be kept clean and welcoming. I would recommend this business. read more

We were really looking forward to PP dinner tonight because it was tasty the first time we tried it. The second time we tried it, delivery took too long and they did not cut the pizza. Sobwe took a chance anyway to give it another chance but this recent visit was disappointing.I was going to order delivery but the eta was 50 minutes so I opted for pickup instead because it would be faster. Placed the order by 5:49pm on the app, left house at 5:55pm because the pickup time was set for 6:08pm. I arrived at the drive thru at 6:04pm..they said they needed 10 more minutes to finish baking the wings. So I go park in the front and wait for another 15 minutes.I go inside and she says they are still working on the order so I go sit down to wait. I'm watching the workers casually making food with no sense of urgency and meanwhile other people who arrived after me and placed orders still got their food before me. After another 35 minutes of waiting, my order was ready. They offered no apology. I checked to ensure I had the correct contents and leave. We get home at 6:45pm to eat and both the pizza and wings were undercooked.The ranch tasted good. The manager on duty could've given more attention to things going on but he seemed to be talking to or training an employee.The staff overall is nice but they weren't really attentive that night. read more
