We were really looking forward to trying Baker's Table after everything we've heard. We had the 5…read morecourse Tasting Menu for $90. per person. we have had many tasting menus before and left feeling very disappointed with our experience. The portions for even a tasting menu were extremely small. My entee (salmon) came out not hot. Our server was not attentive (never once refilled our water glasses or asked if we enjoyed any of our dishes). Overall we were left with the question of: what is all the fuss about with this restaurant? We will not be back.

What's striking about the restaurant itself is how quiet and calm it feels. With limited nightly seatings and every dinner table doing the tasting menu there's a sort of orchestrated flow that permeates the space. Not to say energy is low or it's so quiet you feel self-conscious talking; it's just that nothing about the experience feels rushed or accidental. As expected, the bread course was phenomenal as was all the food we enjoyed! We opted for the wine pairing along with dinner, which results in about 1.5 or 2 full glasses over the course of the meal. The sommelier did an excellent job introducing and explaining each wine, as well as why it was selected to pair with each course. All told, a lovely experience and one worth repeating--and not just because the menu changes every season.

The food was very fresh and I'd definitely order from here again. Check this out for brunch if you're in Cincinnati! I'll for sure be returning soon.

The space is open, bright and well decorated making it very inviting for brunch. You order at the counter from the menus placed along the wall then food is delivered to your table. The various brunch items all sounded very inviting so I was having trouble deciding what to order. So I got a recommendation to try the Shakshuka. Not sure how to pronounce it but when it arrived it was just the right portion and quite tasty for brunch. It's a bowl with a red pepper sauce and feta cheese and kale along with eggs sunny side up. The dish is served with pita so you can do a little bit of dipping in the tasty sauce. To accompany our food we selected the mimosa service and bloody mary pitcher. A pitcher is just perfect for sharing. And the mimosa service was delightful. The server arrived with a bottle of Prosecco and small carafes of orange, grapefruit and blood orange juices to mix yourself. The food was fresh and tasty with prompt delivery of our food to our table. Not quite a full service restaurant since you have to order at the counter but still a nice experience located downtown.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fun, energetic, and welcoming. The whole place has a colorful, trendy vibe with music playing, people laughing, and a relaxed brunch crowd that made it feel exciting without being overwhelming. Even though it was busy for Mother's Day, it still felt organized and comfortable instead of chaotic. The food was honestly so good. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and the portions were huge. You can tell they put thought into the menu instead of serving just basic breakfast food. It felt like a fun twist on classic brunch favorites. Service was fast too, which we appreciated especially on such a busy holiday morning. The staff stayed friendly and upbeat the entire time, and you could tell they handled the rush really well. My husband and I were already excited for our day at the zoo, and breakfast here was the perfect start to it all. I'm currently pregnant, so finding a breakfast spot that actually sounds good and lives up to the hype feels extra important right now. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back the next time we're in Cincinnati.

We both ordered Bloody Marys, which were good although we didn't get the lime or extra olives we asked for. I ordered the philly cheesesteak omelet. It was skimpy, very dry, came with one piece of toast and no potatoes. Seemed over priced at $15. My friend ordered a cheese omelet. Again, it was skimpy and dry, and none of the cheese was melted. One piece of toast and no potatoes. Won't go back since we can get much better food at First Watch or Wild Eggs, for the same price or less.
