I like the vibe they attempt to set. However, if you have sensitive hearing, do not eat inside. The blenders drown out any conversation and thoughts, tearing down the coastal atmosphere that is attempted to be created. This goes for all tropical locations. I enjoy the chain as a whole, but hate the noises. I suggest headphones or take it to go. Service is fast but sometimes sloppy. Sometimes everyone is in a rush to get the food and drinks out before the timer, but I rather wait a bit for better prepared food! It feels humid inside, floors and tables feel sticky/gummy. Like the resin is melting off. Overall this location is clean. This is one of the faster locations so I appreciate that when there's a rush. Depending on the complexity of the order. Staff are nice. My only critique is of the chain itself, the amount of sauce added (sometimes way too much) and the fact that this plaza has no internet connection. The WiFi here is bad. A short drive from home to this Tropical Smoothie location for an early lunch. This location is at the corner lot next to Publix inside a mall. A lot of parking with a number of outside and outside tables are available. Nice and tasteful interior design. I love all their smoothies from Sunrise Sunset to Lean Machine or Acai Berry Boost. One thing, they do have hilarious name for their smoothies! We ordered the Chicken Apple Club flatbread with Kale and Apple slaw and Chicken Bacon Ranch flatbread. The Chicken Apple Club was delicious although the dressing in the Chicken Bacon Ranch flatbread is little pinch of salt too much! Ok sometimes I write reviews and sometimes I don't. But I saw how low the rating was for this location and that is just not right! I have been here many times. The experience has been fairly consistent. Short line to order. They always have a young person taking your order. My orders are always accurate I have never received the wrong thing. The prices are reasonable. The food comes out tasting healthy and delicious. Maybe my 1 and pnly gripe is the tables could stand to be wiped down more frequently. We eat here multiple times a week. Everyone in the family loves it. First we just came for the nutritious and delicious smoothies. Then we tried the food, which we also thought was excellent tasting, healthy, and reasonably priced. These smooth smoothie operators make a delicious and mean Peanut Paradise with whey. They are fast and courteous. I have stopped by over a dozen times and every time they have done a great job. You come here for the smoothies. Its in the name. But even then, some days you cant tell if they put too much ice or not enough of the ingredients. The food is always heavily slopped together with too much mayo or too much ranch or too much chipotle sauce. Its never really proportional to the $12 your spending on the meal. $6 for a slopped together sandwhich with uneven toasted bread, too much condiments and $6 for a smoothie that is huge but sometimes watery tasting. Best described by a snowcone with a bit of flavouring but mostly ice. They did just open a bit more than a few months ago so i hope they get better. Their inconsistency with everything should iron out because its ridiculous how bad this place can be some times. Now i did go here once out of our 3 times here and it was really good. Maybe they knew what they were doing or maybe they accidentally had a good day. Who knows. But we probably will continue to come back because its on the way back from when we work out read more

Literally the worst location, the staff never knows what they're doing. I had to ask for another tortilla to wrap around my burrito because they cut the burruto angled down the middle and all the food fell out on the bottom. Who does that? This place has a lot of potential, however I felt it was a little lacking. They have a great concept, serving healthy foods like wraps, flatbreads, smoothies and salads. As a vegetarian, I found not enough choices on the menu in terms of food. I ended up going with a hummus and veggie salad. My kids got a chicken wrap and a smoothie. I will say the food (that I tried) was good. The smoothie had great flavor and was a good size for the price. The chicken wrap didnt get any complaints from the kids. My salad is where the lackluster came into play. This was a hummus and veggie salad and what I got was a small sauce container full of hummus, a bowl with 90% lettuce with sprinklings of rice, corn, tomatoes, beans etc. It should have been called a lettuce bowl with a spoonful of hummus. Not to mention the lettuce was nothing special. I will say it did taste fresh but looked like it came from the Publix next door. The staff behind the counter, they were nice. The place was busy and these kids looked a little overwhelmed. The tables were dirty, no one was cleaning them. The garbage cans were overflowing. I had to ask for napkins just to wipe of the table we were sitting at, and when we got the food, no napkins. They also didnt have any self serve water. Overall, the food was ok, but I feel this place could be better, and needs more options for non-meat eaters. They also need to be aware of the condition of the restaurant, especially when its busy. read more

This is a great location but to be honest the smoothies have been hit or miss. It could be because the staff is new or just lazy not sure yet but the last few I've had just don't taste the same as the other stores in the area. I got the lean machine last night; which wasn't even filled all the way up in the cup. I was too tired to complain and ordered it via the mobile app so I just took it and ran. I came in at a really busy time when all the employees at Gartner across the street came in, so I knew I was going to be waiting for a while, well somehow my smoothie receipt must have gotten misplaced because I didn't receive mine after 30 minutes. The lovely cashier noticed I still had no drink and asked if I got it, when I explained "no I haven't but I know you guys are super busy and didn't want to be any trouble", she said she would take care of it, 2 minutes later I had my drink. Other Tropical smoothie chains in Fort Myers are better than this one. I love tropical smoothie, and this one is about 3 minutes from my job. The smoothies are good, but this is the THIRD time I order online and something is wrong with my order. Mind you, i order in advance like 1 hour so that gives them plenty of time to have mine ready (I would think) Today I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with no tomatoes or ranch and the RECEIPT SAYS NO RANCH OR TOMATO but what do I taste when I bite into it? PURO TORTILLA, TOMATOES, RANCH AND LETTUCE. I opened the first wrap and that's all it had. Maybe one or two very tiny pieces of chicken but that's it. The second wrap had everything in it so at least I could pick out the tomatoes and eat it. I guess it's my fault for ordering here even after the other two times they messed up my order. I like to give them the benefit of the doubt but I think after three times, it isn't worth it. read more
