First time we have ever been to a Tropical Smoothie and we found it via Yelp when we were hungry and searching for sandwiches for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised at the taste of our sandwiches as it wasn't expected to be that good. I had the club and my wife had the turkey where she said it was very tasty. She normally has cut out parts of her turkey at other places but this one was cut perfectly and very clean. My club was stacked nicely and was full of flavor. Kiddo ordered a smoothie and said it was the best she's had in a while (I tried it and it was really good). This is my go to tropical smoothie. They have yet to mess up my order. Unlike other tropical smoothies in town it seems like it is every couple of orders they have to correct them. The employees are usually pretty genuine and sweet to everyone. Being active duty military, I've been to a lot of Tropical Smoothies in multiple different states and this is by far the worst one ever. I ordered two curbside smoothies. After waiting 10 minutes after pick up time for someone to bring it to the car I decided to just go in to pick it up. No one was at the counter but there were two employees horse playing, yelling curse words, playfully calling eachother b*tches even though there were multiple customers inside. One of them came to the counter and directed me to the area where my smoothies were. They attached a tag to my drinks with capital letters "CURBSIDE" which told me they clearly ignored it. The smoothies tasted freezer burned. No flavor. My husband and I had to throw them away because they made us sick after a few sips. Worst $15 I've ever spent. No manager seemed to be present but I would recommend shutting this location down. The service was disgusting and the food will literally make you sick. -10/10. read more

The kid not only had a Justin Beiber-meets-biblebelt haircut, but also had his cell phone attached to his grimy southern=frat-boy-in-training paw...he did not even put the phone down for me to order, and then stayed on his cell while he made my smoothie. He was ridiculous- and probably only 15. At least he has a job. At least I got my smoothie. In the end, I suppose it was a win-win situation we had there. We arrived 45 minutes before closing and it was very clear we inconvenienced the people working when we walked in. They were not friendly or welcoming, they continued to speak to each other for a few minutes without acknowledging we were even there. When they did speak to us they were rude and clearly bothered by us. We received two smoothies and when we asked if we could have the bottle of water we ordered the girl told us it would be brought out with our food. I wouldn't usually rate a place as one star but this experience had me very frustrated and angry. This lady and I were ordering our drinks at around the same time. I sat down and waited for my smoothie that I paid for. I think the lady's smoothie came up first then mine did. I sat down and noticed that wasn't my smoothie. I went back and said "This wasn't what I ordered." The other lady who ordered after me came up and said the same thing. I'm not sure if it was a manager or a cashier, but someone suggested we switch. The lady and I hesitated and asked us both if we hadn't drank any of the smoothie. I proceed to ask for a refund. The cashier then asked me if I wanted a new smoothie made for free. I said no and walked out. Very unprofessional way to handle the situation. It's more of a safety hazard then anything else. so me and my partner either place a to go order, come in to order or door dash almost daily, we get the same thing every single visit. let me start by saying i stopped using doordash with them because it seemed like every single time i would receive my order (Acai bowl) they would still add items that i specifically took off on the order and i guess when they run out of the normal granola for these bowls they use a completely different type of granola and dont even notify the dasher or person ordering. anyways i let all of this slide until today my partner placed a to go order and THERE employee put down a "chia bowl" instead of my normal "acai bowl" when he got home and i realized it was incorrect i immediately called the store and explained the situation, the guy that answered even knew the exact order i was complaining about because he had just left the store, he puts the manager on the phone and she says sorry theres nothing we can do about that since he walked out the store already, like wth of course hes walked out already, we live 2 minutes from the store, at the end of the day, they acknowledged we had just placed the order and picked it up so its not like i was calling hours later, i used the be the manager at the Navarre location and ive never ever heard a customer cant get there order corrected especially when it was miscommunication on the employees end. this location absolutely sucks and we definitely will just be driving to the racetrack location instead of having to deal with things like this almost every time we order something. The bowls are $12 after tax thats not cheap and it's literally going in the trash waste of money and horrible customer service. read more
