On my last visit, I placed my order and stood waiting while several employees were behind the counter talking. There was no acknowledgment--no "we'll be right with you," no sense of urgency. When I finally received my order, the interaction felt rushed and dismissive, like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. This isn't a one-time issue. Service is consistently slow, and the staff often seem untrained and disengaged. Basic customer service--greeting customers, communicating delays, showing even a little professionalism--has been missing on most visits. I've given this location multiple chances, but the experience hasn't improved. At this point, it's hard to justify coming back. read more

It's not quick at all. In fact there was only two employees since almost 10-12 orders including mine. Trying to figure out how not to overwhelm the ladies but there needs to be more employees on such a busy Saturday. I should have went to smoothie king. The ambiance is clean and colorful. My boyfriend and I walked into this establishment on May 4 at 7 PM When we walked in, there was a woman working the front counter she looked at us, but did not say anything. We went up to the kiosk to order a smoothie, and noticed that the kiosk didn't have the drink we were looking for, but was on the menu. So we went up to the register to see if we could order the drink there, but the woman behind the counter, proceeded to ignore us the whole time. A pick up order receipt printed at the register we were standing at she proceeded to grab it, not look at us nor acknowledge us and make the single drink. After she made that smoothie, we saw there were no orders on the screen after she pressed the number "1" and she still continued to ignore us. We ended up leaving with no drinks. :( read more

I have never been more disappointed in a Tropical Smoothie location. The customer service is absolutely unacceptable. If you can't manage basic customer service-greeting customers, completing orders correctly, or even acknowledging people standing right in front of you- then you shouldn't be open for business. This location needs serious management intervention and retraining. Until then, I will not be returning and I'll be letting my friends and family know to avoid this store. read more

very poor/horrible customer service, poor attitude, ghetto unprofessional management, no working air conditioning, slowest service possible went in for Mango Magic. when smoothie received it was watery and flavorless. requested a remake with less water and while doing so I was yelled at by the manager Megan while she was with a customer at the register "would you like your money back because we're not going to be remaking smoothies" I declined and stated I would just like to have the smoothie remade. Megan states "well we're not going to remake it too many more times" I advised the smoothie was not remade, I re-entered the establishment to purchase another smoothie for a coworker. She then states, "well you have been in here for 10-15 min for a smoothie" I replied, " I'm sorry y'all are taking that long to make them, am I supposed to leave without it" she then tells the young man "Hurry up and make her smoothie so she can get the fuck out of here" I returned to work and decided I would like to escalate the matter. I called the store and Megan answered and I requested the district managers information and Megan advised "oh find it online I can't give you that information" and hung up. I then called 4-5 times and she didn't answer. She finally picked up and I requested the same information. She stated " call back in two hours or better yet call back tomorrow because I'm busy working, I can't help you right now and proceeds to hang up in my face again. This is all recorded and will be handled accordingly. After reading the reviews on here and google this appears to be repetitive with no actions or consequences. To the owner Oliva E. please address your business as your responses are redundant and vague. Customers should not be treated so poorly when patronizing. Came here for dinner and really enjoyed our meal. My husband and I both got a wrap and a smoothie. I got the jerk chicken wrap, and I was hoping for a little more kick, but overall, the chicken was well seasoned, and the veggies were fresh. The wrap itself was pretty good as well. I got a side of the apple kale slaw, and I would say unless you enjoy more traditional coleslaw with mayo, I wouldn't suggest this slaw. I liked this cafe from my first experience! I ordered an açaí bowl and it was AMAZING! I thought to come back to order through their special for buy a food item , get a smoothie for free. I got a chicken quesadilla. I paid .99 for bacon added. As i waited for my smoothie , I realized that no bacon was added. I politely let the cashier know. The cook seemed like she had an attitude and didn't want to be at work. This is what I got back. I just took my food and left because she and the cashier seemed overstimulated by the rush that they had gotten. But I'm highly disappointed in what i took home. I paid almost a dollar for 1 small strip of bacon. My smoothie was pretty good! I just won't come back for the food. I see why they had a promo on their food items. read more

Was super excited to try this place out especially for their açaí bowls. Went in around 9 last night and there were hardly any customers, but yet the worker did not have a care in the world we were there. We waited for a solid 5 minutes before we were ever acknowledged. When we finally ordered, he took it with an attitude and it seemed he honestly didn't want to be there. We wanted to order food, but he seemed like he was in a very bad mood and honestly that's just off putting to be served that way. So just to start this review off as authentic as possible, I've always had a good experience at this store, from walking in and they always speak, it's always clean and welcoming with pleasant music, but I ordered an açaí bowl with extra granola add Almonds, and my coworker a Chia Oatmeal Pudding Bowl with extra Granola and Honey amongst other things while I was at work on 4/11/24, through their app, upon delivery, I noticed that they I guess work with DoorDash for the delivery part. I was like OK cool. So when I got my delivery order, I was confused because I only got two bags which had the sandwiches I ordered the smoothies that I ordered, but then I realize that I didn't get my two bowl which was the whole point of ordering delivery because I don't have a car. So I reached out to tropical smoothie customer service after I had to google who to call and I called through pissedconsumer.com I have called the customer service number three times yesterday being the third time and I keep getting told that the request for refund has been submitted. I'm unsure why it's taking so long. I'm just like OK it's been since April 11 and I have yet to receive a refund or a phone call for that matter about the situation so I'm at home today, and I received a call from the general manager. She said she was the store owner didn't get her name. I do apologize for that but thank you so much for reaching out to me in regards to this situation thank you for advising me what was going on because I wasn't getting anywhere with anyone else, she told me I could come in and get my bowls, so I'm very happy about that. As someone who works as a retail manager I completely understand when a job in any service industry is tough on anybody's mental. However it's Thursday in the afternoon. I see 4 people in the kitchen. Why did it take them over 5 minutes to acknowledge me and my 6ft husband standing at the register....and by choice bc 2 of em was just clear as day in the smoothie makin section ignoring us. Even handing out orders to other customer and still not acknowledging us. It wasn't until the worker making sandwiches noticed we was there and she asked if we were here for pick up and I said no I'm waiting to order. THATS what it took for the other girl to finally take my order. The girl is clearly frustrated and she's showing it through the way she was serving people. Used to never have issues at this location but this was sad. Even another customer was standing at the register after us and complained she'd been waiting too long. read more
