I was excited to try the baklava as they looked beautiful. However, while the flavor was very good, the texture was all wrong. An authentic baklava is supposed to be crispy, flaky, and crunchy, especially on the top layers. While it is heavily soaked in sweet syrup, it should never be soggy, mushy, or completely soft. The layout inside is pleasant, although does have a bit of that "overly private" feel. The way that tables are positioned, it's not conducive to having a chat with a stranger. Depending on the vibe one is looking for, that can be a good or a bad thing. Basically, this is where you come if you don't want to be bothered. We came for the popsicles because we had a coupon for free one. The popsicles are overall really good. Handmade and homemade. You can have them dipped and/ topped. Overall I've been to this particular shop twice. The popsicles are priced about $6 a pop and that is not including the tip you will be asked to give. I really have to go home and break piggy bank to eat pops here.
