Worst paradise point ever. It's a huge clump of ice cube. I can't drink it through a straw I need a spoon. When I asked the employees to fix it he looked at me and said that's how it's supposed to be.. Um no it's supposed to be a smoothie, not a shaved ice in a cup. I called 4 times because it kept going to the answering machine to order my smoothie because I was in a hurry. It wasn't even made when I got there 10 minutes after calling,the store wasn't busy and there were 6 employees working there. This store has had its ups and downs, over the past few years. Had a fourth meal there recently. The food was fresh and we super customized it with no problems. It was quiet in there and we really enjoyed speaking to the employees. This location is not nearly as clean as the nearby location on Donald Ross in Jupiter - Drive the extra five minutes south, trust me. Walls dirty, black dirt caked around doorway? Overall the inside looks old and worn. Doesn't make for an appetizing visit. Tonight the staff looked less than enthusiased to be there and the music was so loud, we left so we could enjoy our food. I usually come here for lunch once or twice a week. I love their food and smoothies used to come out a bit icy but have been great lately. Everyone is very friendly. And sometimes it looks as if there is not enough employees but they handle it very well. I would recommend this to anyone! Only keeps getting better here. read more

The food was good but the service could use some work. Upon entering the "face" of the company - (a girl standing behind the register) barely smiled and rushed me through ordering. I was placing an order for a friend who was diabetic so I had some questions and she was obviously not interested in assisting me. Afterwards her and her co workers cracked jokes about people who take too long to order. I felt very rushed and not valued. Perhaps these people forgot that they need customers in order to have a job. Normally I love this place but I don't think I will return to that location. I'll be sure to spread the word to my husband who is a frequent customer. Note to the cashier- please make another career choice. Customer service doesn't seem to be a good fit for you. read more

I dont know what happened within the last 2 weeks but ever since they got rid of the amazing young woman assistant manager who was in my opinion the reason why most people went there. I have been coming here for a long time and there are all new people including management. At first was a little skeptical about returning as a few times I went in there it was pretty hectic. But I must say they have it in order now. Real friendly atmosphere and nice music playing (couldn't stand what they used to play). There's usually always two girls in the morning when I go for happy hour they are just amazing always asking me about day and how I'm doing. The manager is also very nice always greets me and remembers my name! I think that's important for good customer service. The smoothies are just awesome here! I dont ever get food so I'm not sure about that but I get a pretty complicated smoothie that I thought only the old crew could handle but I was very wrong! Just love this place and the hour! The smoothies here are great, the food isn't. I ordered a quesadilla and salsa was advertised as on the side included in the price and they told me it wasn't. And for the price of the quesadilla it shouldn't have been more shell then actual cheese and chicken. If I could give no stars for my experience today I would. The service is usually good and pretty friendly. My fiance and I are regulars at this location. The assistant manager with the front gold tooth was unbelievably rude, seemed to have no interest in customer service. In our years of experience in the restaurant and food industry we know that the customer comes first. She has no intention of fulfilling that quality. She should not be working at the front what so ever. She is a terrible representation of good hospitality and putting the guests needs first. She was fighting us tooth and nail on substituting one fruit for another due to an allergy which we never ever have a problem doing with any other employee. After that went on for 5 minutes and we completed our order she then told us if we didn't have cash we couldn't have our drinks...after the fact. All around a terrible experience today. read more

I recently started stopping by Tropical Smoothie Cafe a few times per week. They have a menu that contains a wide variety of smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. The smoothies give you an opportunity to add some more fruits and vegetables to your diet in a way that tastes really great. You can customize the ingredients in your smoothie. I like to get mine made with Splenda instead of Turbinado in order to reduce the sugar content. I also add whey protein. The peanut butter cup smoothie is my favorite. I like it every time and I never get tired of it. This store is very well run. The shift leader, Lana, deserves high praise. She always has an extremely positive attitude. She sets a great tone and this filters down to her employees. I enjoy going to Tropical Smoothie Cafe and recommend that you try it out. read more

This was an okay restaurant the first time I ate there, but slow on service. My kids liked the smoothies so I decided to give it another try with my entire family today after Church. I wish I had stayed away. The service was worse than horrible. They overcharged me, and when I said to the lady at the register that it should be 14 dollars, not 22, she proceeded to argue. There was a long line as they were understaffed, so I paid the bill and said we could fix it after the line went down. I got part of my order but not all of it, so when it slowed down, I again showed her the order I had placed and the amounts it showed wrong. So she rudely made a scene, reread the wrong order to me from the computer screen and it was again not what I ordered. She forgot my kid's pizza order next, and then said she had to call someone to get me my refund back. She rolled her eyes, made the customers behind me in line anxious at the scene, and they were probably wondering if they would ever get help. I stepped to the side and continued waiting on a correct ring-up and my child's pizza, while my food sat coldly on the table with my husband and other child who were by now eating. After she got someone on the phone, (I guess there is no manager on site), she loudly said to the person on the phone that she didn't acknowledge the order I had originally given and now needed to go back in and re-ring it in. ( Her way of admitting she had incorrectly rung it, and then had me pay for it, but still she had not ever apologized to me for error.) By now, the line was really building behind me and I'm still waiting to go eat. I finally said to her, just forget it. I'd like to eat my food while it's hot, even if I have to pay an extra four dollars for it. I sat down and ate a not-so-good meal while my daughter's pizza took another ten minutes to come out. We ate and left the very negative environment vowing to each other to never return. I would not recommend this place unless they change management or staff ,unless you like rude treatment and mediocre food. read more

As a level up loyalty member, and someone who has been in the restaurant industry for 12 years, I am extremely bothered by my experiences at this location. The assistant manager (who fails to have her name on her name tag) is always extremely rude, and disrespectful. She actually went as far as to yell at me today when I asked her to remake my smoothie today due to it being watered down (this was after we waited 20 MINUTES for our order and the girl that made the smoothie initially dropped it on the ground and was laughing and then proceeded to serve it anyway. Also used a dirty rag to wipe down the side of the cup before serving). In previous experiences she has also been extremely rude and unfriendly. Due to having a banana allergy I always ask them to substitute pineapple in my smoothies, and everyone else always accommodates my request. She refuses to do so and says I must be charged to substitute one fruit for another because "that's just how things work around here". I love tropical smoothie, every other location I've been to is great. The staff is always friendly and the place is clean and my requests are met with no questioning. But I have had enough of the disrespect and undetermined, unfriendly, unaccommodating staff of this place. It is unacceptable. Something needs to be done. I have continually received some of the worst service of my life at this location. I can't recall the last time they didn't lose/mess up my order. Every time I go I end up spending at least 25 minutes there as they have to remake my order. I rarely ever go anymore but today after they once again forgot about my order it was the last straw.
