I've had a hankering for a smoothie bowl ever since I recently watched a friend's 3-year old,…read morepurple berries dripping down his face, eagerly spoon fresh fruit and icy yogurt into his mouth. Well, I finally satisfied my hankering at a relatively new eatery called Everbowl in the Turkey Creek area. It offers a variety of bowls, smoothies and coffee made to order. Every ingredient is gluten free. I ordered a small-sized dish, appropriately called an Everbowl for $9.49. Frozen açaí served as the base which the creator topped with crunchy granola. Next came bananas (she used a nifty tool to evenly and simultaneously slice the fruit into rounds). Then she rounded out the bowl with fresh strawberries and blueberries, and ended with a drizzle of honey. Absolutely yummy and refreshing! The bowls come in small, medium and large sizes as do the smoothies. And there are a variety of bases and toppings to satisfy most palates. You can order to-go or sit down at small tables that line one wall or a 3- seat bar facing the parking lot. The employees are welcoming and seemed enthusiastic about their jobs. It's clean and light inside, and I look forward to returning especially as the weather warms a bit. It will offer palate-pleasing treat on a busy day.

Teriyaki bowl was fresh, hot, and good! Probably the best I have had at a Whole Foods in quite some time. Parking was ample at this location and boy did they need it when I visited. The lot was packed and it was wall to wall people inside at this location. Everything looked full and fresh and well presented throughout. It was nice to visit this location. It's kind of hard to see from the interstate. So don't miss pulling off here if you are in town..

There are times I just dread going into this store. I should have known better than to go today on…read moreNew Years Eve. Pushy customers acting like I was in their way. Pushy people at the check out line acting like I was in there way - even though my transaction was not completed yet and I was trying to get my bags. And the in a rush young people fulfilling Amazon Orders for Prime or trying to stock the shelves - I can't tell you how many times I have been treated as is I was an impediment to what they are trying to do even though I am a paying customer trying to navigate my way through the store. it gets to me sometimes. There are too many people trying to shop in this store for the size of it. Too many people "In a Rush" to get on with their lives. I do feel like I am back up in the North East sometimes when I go there. The best times to shop are during Tennessee Game Days or on a Tuesday night of all things. I go there because they do have things that other markets in the area do not have - fruits, vegetables, organic products. I do like the fish market guys. I do like certain cashiers and try to always go to them. I do like being able to find certain products there that I cannot find anywhere else - . I do like their supplements. There are things I do like. But the whole Prime thing (order fufillment) has put a huge black mark by the shopping experience. They really need to train their restocking people to be mindful of the customers and to be a little nicer while they do it. But between trying not to get run over in the parking lot when I am trying to get into the store and not getting run over while I am in the store by the oh so many busy people in there, it has gotten to where my stress levels goes straight up when I shop there. What I will do is try to go during off hours, and I do try to do that. But this is a pattern. My opinion is that for the amount of customers they have and the amount of order fufilment they do - the store probably needs to be twice as big as it is. I gave them three stars - but like I said - it is always a stressful experience for me.
