Dropped by at 1:30pm on a Saturday and the place was hoppin!! Every table was taken. Got the Hawaiian Breeze for only $3 with my meal. That is an awesome smoothie!! We ended up getting 2 flatbread sandwiches at $3.99 a piece, Chipotle Chicken club & Caribbean Luaua- Both were fresh, tasty, & filling. Wife ordered the sea salt & vinegar chips to finish it off and we walk out full for under $13. Would have been 5 stars but the machine that makes the smoothies is LOUD when you eat in so that would be my only negative. Definately recommend this place!! read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand it is super good. I love the smoothies. The mixed feelings come in when you really think about how much sugar is in the smoothies. It kind of makes you feel like you are doing something healthy for yourself when you have a smoothie. But that is just not true. I rate them 5 stars because I have always just had to walk in and immediately order with no waiting in line. Also, their food always taste fresh and they have the best smoothies around. My favorite is the Blue Lagoon smoothie. Before a little roadtrip to Pensacola my mom brings home some Tropical Smoothie. Now why she bought me a blueberry one (Blue Lagoon), I will never know, since I only like artificial blueberries but anywho... I traded my dad for his pinapple smoothie (don't remember the name of it). Ok I love pinapples I really do but whatever else they put in that concoction was not hitting it! I stuck it in the freezer hoping that it would taste better once it hit a more frozen state. So I moved on to my wrap. It had chicken onions and bar b que sauce. After 3 small bites, I realized that this meal was never going to make friends with my taste buds. So I found the wrap a permanent home in the trash can. Not one to post reviews on here, but my smoothie tasted like straight sugar to the point it was disgusting and tasted nothing like it normally does. The chicken caesar bowl was also missing kale and spinach. Was very excited for tropical smoothie, as usual, left pretty disappointed. The fact that both were messed up is the cause for 2 stars. I give them 5 stars because this is my favorite place to eat ...period! I love the peanut paradise smoothie. I have tried it at other Tropical Smoothies in the area and the Niceville location makes it the best. I also enjoy the king caesar wrap as well as the chicken pesto wrap. This is my go to place for premium fast food. Also the service is always fast and friendly. The colors inside are bright and the music is always upbeat which make for a nice atmosphere. Another thing at stands out is that it is always clean. I love it! P.S. If I had my way about the only thing I would change about the place is to get rid of the TV that always seems to be on a negative news channel. This is no big deal because the music is playing and you don't hear the negative news. I usually have my ipad and read a book so it's no biggie. But, to me it detracts from the positive image and atmosphere of Tropical Smoothie. read more

I have a slight allergy to bananas and my boyfriend gets a smoothie with you guessed it banana. Never had an issue with any other location cross contaminating our smoothies. A simple rinse could've negated this situation. I take a sip of my avocalda (I only know it's mine because it's slightly green) and it tastes like straight peanut butter and banana. We called and I understand he should've mentioned my allergy (granted we've never had this issue at any other location even with multiple orders containing banana). Instead of apologizing they negated him on everything and were rude. I'll keep my business to the tropical smoothie on eglin since they can rinse out a simple blender. read more

Went here yesterday and had the acai berry smoothie with no sugar added and a salad. My friend got the green smoothie and spicy chicken Thai wrap. Everything was yummy! The girl at the counter was very nice and helpful, the girl making the food was not nice AT ALL!! After we had ordered and paid I went back and asked if I they had started making my smoothie and if they would add protein powder. The girl at the counter said yes, and I paid the extra for it and when she asked the girl to add it in she said "no" and started asking if I paid for that, blah blah blah. I told did pay for it just now, so she begrudgingly did it. I said to the girl at the counter "I hope that's just a dry sense of humor and not a bitchy attitude going on with her"! She said "oh, she's having a bad day"!! Seriously? She's having a bad day!? I love Tropical Smoothie Cafes throughout this area, their recipes and wraps are just right for what they are. But this T.S.C. is grubbier than others... needs a little more attention to detail. At one time I was given moldy cream cheese for my bagel here, and they didn't have any replacement cartons that weren't covered in black mildew. Maybe best to stick just to smoothies here because the blenders are washed more often than the food prep areas...? read more

This location doesn't let you do substitutions, only upcharges. Every other TSC I've ever been to has gladly done the substitution I ask for. I walked out, the smoothies are expensive enough as it is without trying to charge me for a SUBSTITUTION. read more
