I went there this morning, I ordered a Bahama Mama, a Chipotle Chicken flatbread and an açaí bowl, when I received my smoothie it was extremely watery, my Chipotle chicken flatbread looked as though the lettuce was bad and wilted, as did the tomatoes, the only person there was an employee with grey hair, while talking to her she was very dismissive and kept scratching her nose, complaining about very personal things. read more

If I could give a negative star I would the manger of the store came up the register scratching her nose and her stomach, first off in a food establishment that's not sanitary at all, she did so while still handing out drinks to other customers. My friend and I asked that she wash her hands and put on gloves before making our drinks she didn't have an issue doing so maybe a little taken back that we asked but as she went to go put her gloves she scratched herself again after washing her hands.. read more

The "manager" or lady with gray hair , just doesn't ever wear gloves and when I ordered my smoothies she rubbed her noes and scratched her stomach so we proceeded to let her know that we would feel more comfortable wearing gloves and her response was " I was gonna wash my hands anyways" but we let her know we'd feel more comfortable with her wearing them so she washes her hands scratches her stomach again, and then puts the gloves on.. I just don't think they know what sanitary means but the other employee was wearing gloves the whole time and then after making a smoothie, she took the gloves right off and probably won't wear them again read more

I never leave reviews but honestly this was the worst smoothie I have ever had. I ordered a beach bum... chocolate, strawberry and banana... couldn't be that hard. Well if I wanted a water smoothie I could have stayed at home and tossed half a strawberry and 30 ice cubes into my own blender and called it a day. Such a waste of time and money. Don't waste yours coming to this location. So slow. The kid used one blender in a row to make 4 different orders. He had no urgency. So annoying. read more

Who doesn't love a refreshing smoothie? I always love stopping here once in awhile for lunch, they have great smoothies and wraps. My favorite is the Detox Island Green, it's not overly sweet and packed full of greens and refreshing! The customer service isn't the best, there's hardly ever anyone there and the wait time is usually forever. Highly recommend ordering online. read more

By far the worst smoothie I've ever had. I orderd the Peanut Paradise and it literally tasted like a water smoothie. I have always gotten this smoothie with no problems, but this was absolutely horrible. It was like drinking crushed ice. I complained to the company and they sent me a coupon that required I order flatbread so I can get another smoothie for $1.99. I don't want a flatbread I want what I paid for and that was a Peanut Paradise smoothie. I will never waste my money at Tropical Smoothie again. read more

My wife and I had lunch here as it's been about 2 years, wanted to try something different. We order a chicken pesto flatbread and a Caribbean jerk chicken wrap, nothing too difficult or time consuming to make. After 15 minutes we get called the flatbread was ready, I waited another 5 minutes to inquire about mine to be told it's cooking. So now we're at 10 minutes from when the chicken pesto was completed and is now "cold". So my wife asks if they could warm hers back up to be told they will make her another one. So the now flippant older woman throws the flatbread that just needed to be reheated and makes a new flatbread. This is obviously someone who is not invested in the business that they freely throw money away. So now a very upset woman walks to the register and asks about her sandwich that she ordered 45 minutes ago. The now rude flippant woman advised the woman she had a catering order that came in and she was giving that order priority over orders who were placed in person in their brick and mortar store! Pretty poor business model! Here is a suggestion! Let's start paying for our orders after we get our food, this way we can truly rate the service we get versus paying up front to include a default tip or 15% on checkout. After this experience today I will not tip someone who is doing their job by taking my order, your listening and pushing buttons no rocket science!!! read more

for the peson called Giovanni P. you sir are a fibber there has never been a rat, no roaches on the food or surfaces and i do remember you as i still work here and u never really cleaned the kitchen everyone had to clean up after you, and if your complaining about the smoothies and people getting sick from it, its because of you since you're the smoothie maker, and as for the employees most were college students going back to school in different cities or even states and the bathroom should be cleaned everyday and night since we only have 1 unisex bathroom. the food is good and smoothies as well we're not perfect and try to fix and make people happy when we do make a mistake but as an ex employee this is unprofessional to fib about a job who has done nothing but b there for you when u needed it. this might b bias but i give our place 5 stars, but for you 0 read more

My family and I just ordered meals and smoothies from here. Sarah, the girl taking our order, showed no concern when I mentioned two orders could not contain cheese, as my daughter and I have dairy allergies. I repeated to Sarah three times which smoothies and meals could not contain dairy while she was ringing our items up, and she shook her head like she was acknowledging my request. When our smoothies were ready, two had whey protein added. Mine should have had the plant-based pea protein! The girl making the smoothies, Brianna, just said, "Oh I didn't know," and turned around to make another. Fine, I guess. No big deal, the issue was fixed. But, I get home and my flatbread has tons of cheese on it. That is a huge problem, because now I'm hangry and cannot eat! I call the location to ask what I'm supposed to do and why they didn't listen when I said two out of three people in my family had dairy allergies. I got no respect, remorse or care. Briana and Sarah could use some training on listening. I don't need them to be polite or chipper when I go in, I just need them to LISTEN when someone states there is an allergy! For the record, they were neither polite nor chipper. So now I'm upset and ask for the manager's number -- after a few requests, I eventually got one, but I hear the other girl in the background say, "he doesn't like to be called when he's not working." After this, I am told I can go back to the store to get a replacement. I called the number and, of course, no one answers. So here is a negative review from someone who doesn't write reviews - ever! We purchased a couple smoothies and they were all partially filled and were 99% ice. the strawberries in my bahama mama smoothie aren't even fully blended. on top of that, the sandwhich we ordered took 10 minutes (there was one other customer inside) and has chipotle sauce all over the wrapping which made a huge mess in my car. The girl making sandwiches was also wearing a crop top and very small shorts which i'm sure it not a part of the dress code at Tropical Smoothie. read more
