The pancakes - cinnamon swirl, glaze
    Kim L.

Wow - just wow. My brother in law suggested this and it looks pretty good! We went for breakfast, and got there just about the time that all the tables were turning over - so we had a modest wait, but not much! You know that one of Wayne's pet peeves are home fries that are deep fried - well, not here! And, guess what? Home made corned beef hash - it was super tasty, served w/over easy eggs and a grilled muffin. They are known for their Jacob's Pancakes - cinnamon swirl and with a glaze - I had one taste and soo wanted more. I decided to try the biscuits and gravy - and ate way too much but it was delicious- not too thick, spiced just right. It was a great breakfast and maybe we'll go back for eggs Benedict!

Heyyyyyy you guyyyyys! Visited this place for lunch. We had various different things at our table tuna melts, chicken sandwich, chicken caprese salad and a Greek salad with chicken. The salads both presented well but they also included wilted lettuce which was disappointing because the presentation was great. The sandwiches were a hit, the fries were a little over done, each sandwich was served with a pickle. The menu had great options for lunch and breakfast. The server was meh she seemed to be carrying a heavy load and lacked any personality. The decor is simple the woman's bathroom needs a deep cleaning and a better flushable toilet handle. The hand towel dispenser needs fixing and the door was awfully black to be white. Over all this place looks to have a lot of regulars but it fell flat for me. Definitely can use some TLC.

Heard of this place from a friend. Had to try it. Parking was a bit of a problem but plenty around close by. Got in right away. Place is a bit noisy because of the high ceiling. Good selection on the menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. Also beer and wine selection too Lots to choose from for breakfast. I had my 2 eggs over easy but the meat was kielbasa which was really good, home fries and rye toast. Candyce had the bacon cheese omelet with grits. Waitress was great. Kidder around with her how she had to get the plates out of the window. Always there for coffee or any questions. Will be back and for lunch.

Servers were very friendly!! Made suggestions and helpful!! Cute diner, plenty of seating. Looks like a lot of locals but an easy place to find while passing through. The food was DELICIOUS!! The menu is diverse. Plenty of vegetarian options. Serving size is generous!! Many choices. We went w breakfast but lunch menu looked great as well! We'll try that next. Biscuits were flaky and yummy. Locally owned is always a plus! We will be back!!

Ordered the fried flounder basket for lunch. Was cooked perfectly lightly battered a delicious plate for a great price. The waitresses here are so kind and welcoming. We go here for breakfast on the weekends and the food is amazing.

A handful of outdoor tables, the rest inside, all clean and efficiently turned. Everything comes out fast and hot--service is brisk, bordering on assembly-line smooth. The French toast ($9) is as basic as it gets: two slices, a dusting of powdered sugar, syrup, and a lonely half strawberry. It tastes exactly like what it looks like--standard, soft, slightly forgettable. Not offensive, just... there. The latte was solid, and my mom's coffee was hot, strong, and dependable. The avocado toast tried, but didn't quite land. Cream cheese base, fried egg, tomato, and sliced avocado--some of which leaned a little too ripe. The tomato had a firm bite, the bread barely toasted, and the whole thing felt under-seasoned and uninspired. It needed salt, crunch, personality--something. The double chocolate muffin was moist, soft, and generously studded with melted chocolate pockets. Not house-made-feeling, more like a well-executed bakery standard--but still the best bite of the morning. (They also offer cranberry walnut and blueberry.) Bottom line: Skip the composed plates. Grab a muffin and a coffee--it's the smartest, happiest move here.
