Between the three of us we had Belgium waffles with strawberries and whipped cream; the Elise breakfast sandwich with a fried egg, arugula, tomato, avocado and cheese (black beans and crunchy fried potato cubes as sides ... hubby ate half of my potatoes they were so good); and the Elise platter with eggs, pancakes and turkey bacon. I brought half my sandwich home (with the two sides I was stuffed!) but no leftovers on the other two plates. Wiped clean! The coffee was HOT and delicious. The place is very small so keep that in mind for wait times or big parties. I will say the food was very good and we liked everything we ordered. They don't have regular juice for kids. Also, if you don't like the side that comes with the kid's meal you can't substitute for something else. The omelets come with 2 sides but don't have great options. This location is in a shared plaza with lots of parking. It has a smallish eating area but you walk up to the counter to order and then they will bring it out to you. The service at the counter was good. It was awesome to see a lot of gluten free and dairy free items. I was super excited to have gluten free chicken and waffle as I haven't had that in years. My husband got a vegan waffle and an omelet with a piece of carrot cake. The location has high ceilings and is pretty and open. The food came out at different times so my husband had to wait a bit for his waffle after his omelet arrived. The gluten free chicken and waffle was really good. Found this place on a whim when we didn't have a breakfast spot picked out. GREAT for us gluten free folks! Can get a little busy which we saw towards the end of our dining there. They aren't a huge establishment but spacious enough for about 10 groups or couples. Anyhow, the real star is how much they offer that is gluten free and how friendly their service is! I was very pleased with the price for the size of the dishes. I mean you get a gluten free Belgian waffle with berries (if you add them) and two HUGE fried chicken tenders. Y'all need to stop sleeping on this place! It's healthy, delicious, and so completely wholesome! Went in with some coworkers to have breakfast while discussing upcoming tasks at work. On the drive in, we say Black Bear, IHOP, and Cracker Barrel packed and people waiting out in the cold. We drove up to Elise Cuisine and it was EMPTY! No 40+ minute wait for a seat. It smelled delicious and food was reasonably priced. The ambiance of this little cafe was so relaxing and filled with kindness, there was even a well-loved Bible open to the book of Psalms with handwritten notes about discernment! The food? Nothing short of delicious! All three of us ate every bite of food on our plates and one of us even took a slice of carrot cake to go for an afternoon office snack. The Elise sandwich and the mushroom spinach soup were healthy and perfectly filling. One of my coworkers had the Elise Breakfast, which included soy-chorizo that she said was surprisingly good for a plant-based meat alternative. We all agreed that the potatoes were delicious. Stopping in for breakfast, I start off by ordering a London Fog tea then add the pecan French toast and the veggie omelet with side potatoes, fruit and toast. The London Fog is delicious and hits the spot while waiting for my meal. When the food arrives and smells appetizing. The French toast was a nice golden brown and after adding some butter and syrup it didn't last long. The mix of the pecans with the syrup was a nice surprise. At this point I order a Chai tea latte and that was also very tasty. Next, the veggie omelet was also perfectly made with a mix of spinach, mushrooms, tomato, onions, and cheese that all blended together to provide a great flavor profile. The toast was nice and golden brown, and the fruit was fresh and juicy. We tried this place out because a co-worker described the place as being scrumptious. The menu states it is not certified gluten-free. But they do have several gluten free breakfast options such as a Belgian of waffle, chicken and waffles, pancakes, French toast, and oatmeal of course. The lunch menu has very few gluten free options. It looks like just the salads and the chicken fingers are labeled as GF. MOst of the rest of the lunch menu is non gluten free sandwiches and bread based options. The place is brand new and just opened and it has a little bit of the sterile feel to it, but in a few weeks, I'm sure it will feel much more homey inside. I ordered the gluten free vanilla Belgian waffle with a hazenut Chai latte and my husband ordered the biscuit, egg and cheese biscuit with Turkey bacon added. The waffle was incredible, better than some non-gf waffles I've had at other restaurants. And the chai latte was also delicious. My husband enjoyed his generous portioned sandwich. It had nice flavor, and was cooked well. The biscuit was light and fluffy despite being vegan. Overall, we agree with the coworker, this place was scrumptious. I would like to see more GF options for lunch. But, for a good price, good food, and friendly people this is worth coming back for breakfast. I live nearby, and finally decided to stop in for lunch. This spot is hidden away in a strip center across from the YMCA. It's actually really cute inside with more tables than you'd expect! The menu is pretty extensive- lots of sandwiches, brunch, and salads to choose from. I got a sandwich with a side of fruit and arugula salad. The sandwich was excellent! I wasn't a big fan of the salad, as the dressing didn't taste quite right. I would definitely consider coming back to try the brunch menu. read more

This was a very cute place we visited recently through recommendations. The place was very clean and the people were friendly. The place is small with few tables and can imagine them getting crowded easily. They also offer some good vegan options here. We came at a time when there weren't many folks here and found a table easy (was around 1pm). They do cook the food fresh, so expect to wait a bit before you get your stuff. Ours took around 15-20 minutes to come out. I had ordered migas con huevo, and it tasted great. Mine had peppers, tomatoes, onions , and a good amount of cheese. I did try it with the salsa given and gave it some good flavors. The other sauce was actually jelly, which was amazing! I was dipping my toast in it and wish I could have taken the jelly to go. Potatoes were alright, but the salsa made them taste better. My brother ordered vegan pancakes, and it looked very pretty. It has a lot of fruit on top of it and the pancakes tasted good too. I would even order it again, though I wish they offered vegan butter with it. The waffles my mom ordered were decent as well but not much special to them. Overall, it was a great experience and would absolutely come back here. It is a bit pricey though and closes early (around 3:30pm) so be aware. read more

So very disappointed with the cleanliness. Just watched the person wipe tables down and just wipe food and trash to the floor. Cleaned one counter of dishes and left the food droppings on the bar. Waited 30 minutes for our meal. The French toast was great. They must have used pancake batter. My daughter had the vegan biscuits and gravy. While not a biscuit person, she said it was one of the best biscuits she has had. The gravy.... I know it's hard to make a good vegan gravy, but not impossible. She could taste the flour, which means it's under cooked. What a nice little spot! The minute we walked in, we were greeted by the cooks and the counter (even if it was 8:00 on Black Friday). The cashier asked if this was our first time here and welcomed us. I had the sourdough French toast and turkey sausage (no pork served here) and they were both delicious. The maple butter sauce really made the French toast. The gingerbread latte was delicious! I loved how it was served in a mason jar. It just elevated my drink. The only reason why I gave this establishment 4 stars is because their juice is bottled, not fresh squeezed or served in a glass. You will need to go up to the counter to order and you get your own utensils at the condiment bar, but they will take your food to you. This small business supports their faith (Christian?) and says a little prayer over each order that goes out. They don't push their religion, but sometimes that might make people feel uncomfortable. I also ordered an iced coffee which was so bland, so bitter and honestly one of the worst coffees I ever tasted. The breakfast potatoes were cut larger than I'd have liked and although I could see the seasoning added after cooking they were bland. The vegan sausage patty was a basic morning star patty. My favorite restaurant is a small, local restaurant. There's always a little charm to it. The food is always made with care and it always seems healthier. This is this type of restaurant. I went for lunch thinking I was going to get breakfast, but ended up getting a sandwich instead. My friend and I did share a waffle as dessert. I got the chicken pesto sandwich, but made it vegetarian. I don't know exactly what made it vegetarian besides removing the chicken. I will say I expected a substitution for it besides more arugula since it was pricier. Regardless, it was delicious. The portion was big enough to take half of it home. You get a choice of two sides. I decided to continue being a little healthier and got the side salad and the lentil soup. The lentil soup is one of the best lentil soups I've had. Great flavor. I could've eaten a bowl of lentil soup for lunch and been satisfied. The salad is arugula with some quinoa and a vinaigrette. The waffle comes with a dusting of powdered sugar. Waffle was delicious. Great dessert for us. I did notice they have a case of desserts. I was too full to try any. I did try the London fog tea. Since it was a hot summer day, I got it are iced. Loved it. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is small. Seating was almost full when I arrived on a Wednesday at lunch. I did notice that they were able to reserve a table for a big party coming in. My wife and I decided to try this place as it is 5 minutes from our house and the 38 Yelpers who rated it a 5 star establishment. It's a small restaurant located right off 151 in the same parking lot as Mays YMCA and next to Ginza! When you walk in it's very welcoming and cozy. Smells of fresh brewed coffee and delicious food but you don't leave smelling like food! You order at the register and sit anywhere and they bring it all to you. The lady at the register is very helpful and pleasant. It is made to order so it takes about 10 - 15 minutes to come out. My wife had pancakes with blueberries, scrambled eggs. I had the Turkey and Gouda omelette that comes with two sides ( fruit and potatoes for me). My wife enjoyed her pancakes and eggs (seasoned lightly) a lot. Only recommendation is to give more syrup with the order. The omelette is a two egg omelette that has the turkey cooked into the egg and a small slice of Gouda on top ( perfect for me as I don't like too much cheese). The potatoes are seasoned lightly with a homemade seasoning, the fruit was very good and sweet. Alarmist for got the drinks. Americano coffee for me ( strong the way I like it) and Earl grey tea for my wife. The coffee is good and strong but they can lighten it if you choose. They also have cappuccino, expresó, and lattes. They also make fresh artisan desert and cheese bread. Overall I enjoyed my visit and will be back again.
