    Muscle Blaster: Whey Protein
    Joy X.

I've been on a smoothie binge lately! Anything I order that has bananas always seems to go overboard in the amount they add because it's one of the cheaper ingredients! To be fair, the Muscle Blaster (Tropical Smoothie) was a mix of 60% Bananas, 40% Strawberries & Whey Protein. The ordering process was so easy online and I even called 5 min. away from the store after submitting the order to make sure they received it. All I did was pickup my smoothies when I arrived with very few people inside while practicing social distancing. They have not allowed indoor dining as of 5/13/2020 due to Covid-19. Chairs were turned upside down on the tables. I thought the 3-4 employees behind the register should've been wearing masks at least while preparing the food as a precaution. .. Their specialty is smoothies, so I usually don't steer away from what they focus on...sandwhiches seem to be on the smaller size for value from reading a previous review. The service is quick, dropped a couple bucks as a Thank You in the Tip jar to show appreciation for these essential workers...this was a bright part of my day as I grabbed an afternoon treat I got for free as part of their giveaway by filling a short survey. 3.5/5 vote for me!

Turkey bacon ranch and apple slaw

Finally a great place for me to go that's healthy and tasty close by! They make decent wraps, sandwiches, and flat breads in addition to smoothies (which I have yet to get...). They come in various flavors and meet a good veggie quota so you wont be bored or feel somewhat deprived when trying to eat healthy. One of my favorite sandwiches is their turkey bacon ranch with side of kale slaw. The bread is soft and chewy and it has ample amount of carved turkey with bacon for an added dimension of flavor. The apple slaw is on the creamy side and I love how the apples add a sweet crunch to the flavor. The service here is pretty fast and efficient even in the face of the pandemic, so its nice to know I dont have to settle for eating terrible everyday even though options are a bit more limited in these uncertain times.

Good. Clean. Lotsa choices. Cute. Clean place. Good prices. Efficient. Easy parking. Clean restrooms.

The food is really delicious but the price they charge is for an adult portion size. There's many kids meals bigger than the portions I received. That makes how it delicious it is disappointing. It really leaves you wanting more. There was an option to make it large instead of baby size. The quality, the taste it's all there, unfortunately the portion size isn't. My eight year old son was still hungry after eating his sandwich. Please start offering a larger portion even if I have to pay for it.

I was so excited to grab some carbs after a few hours in the thrift store next door. It is just the cutest thing inside! The worker was so sweet and patient as I asked questions. I was a bit overwhelmed, but in a good way - they had so many interesting flavors to choose from. Definitely not your average options, with choices ranging from coffee to matcha, rosemary to chocolate chip, jalapeno bacon to cinnamon. I was told all bagels are made fresh daily and they tasted that way, too. We kept them out on the counter for three or four days and they were still soft to the touch. Don't be like me though, I was told it is recommended to saran wrap and freeze, then defrost a bit and bake at 350 after brushing with a bit of water. I did not try this BUT sounds like it would freshen them right up like new. The inside was clean with seating options and I was pleasantly surprised they had so many bagels available an hour before closing. Great place, come show support!

The bagel was fresh, though a little firmer and chewier than I prefer. I ordered a breakfast bagel and would have liked it slightly crisper rather than so dense. It's always good to support a local spot. Enjoy!

Yes, there is tons of food made in the US too but it's a good variety. You won't find everything that you find at a standard grocery store here. Off the top of my head I couldn't find Greek yogurt, cottage cheese or nut butter, but what you do find is spectacular. We got pasta and pasta sauce imported from Italy, frozen ravioli from New York, coffee beans from Italy, bread from local bakeries, and my husband loved the coke from Mexico with real sugar. We also grabbed cannolis from their deli. They have a substantial wine and butcher area. Also a a good selection of ready made foods. This place is hidden, but the parking lot is big. I will definitely continue to come here to shop!

I wanted Calabrian chiles, but they were apparently behind the plastic construction area. At the deli, I asked for a half pound prosciutto. They cut over 1lb due to lack of English. OK. I took it anyway so it was not wasted (the domestic was no bueno). It was old and dried out. There was no one at the meat counter, so I had to ask the deli guy to help me. The chicken breasts that were on sale were gatgantuan. I have never seen chicken breasts so large. The wings smelled bad when I got home to package to freeze. I had to toss 10 lbs. The reason I went was for the chicken sale. I am not risking food poisoning. The prices on most grocery items were actually higher than Publix. For specialty Italian items, the selection was just good. I did find guanciale and pancetta. Honestly, I would rather go to Mazzaro's or Moschella's. Their service is much better, and they have much more specialty items, plus they are cleaner and don't sell old nasty food.

The colorful décor celebrates countries throughout Latin America, with an especially fun collection of license plates. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, which was generously filled with pulled pork, ham, salami, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and onions. It was good overall, although the bread was a little too crisp for my preference and the sandwich was slightly salty. My wife tried the mangú plate with mashed plantains, fried cheese, and fried salami. It was an interesting Dominican dish and fun to try, though also a bit salty and quite heavy. The restaurant was busy during our visit, which is always a good sign. Overall, it's a friendly neighborhood spot worth checking out, especially if you're interested in trying Dominican and Caribbean dishes. Enjoy!

I'm glad I did and stopped overlooking it sooner, because these subs are good. It may not be in the most desirable area in town, but the store was remarkably clean and the employees were very friendly. They even allowed me to bring my sweet baby Muffin (shih tzu) inside while in her carriage. It's my first time in any Firehouse Subs, so I wasn't entirely sure what I would like. I went with The Engineer because the calorie count (conveniently plastered along the menu) was right where I wanted it, and I love most turkey subs in general. Plus, I thought the addition of mushrooms was pretty unique. I got the pickle on the side and a confetti cookie that I will eat later. (I'll let you know how it is--but anything with sprinkles will be a winner). I was pretty impressed with the quality of the sub. The meat was hot and tender, mixing well with the cheese, and the mushrooms did give it a good unique taste and texture profile like I knew it would. Meanwhile, the veggies in the sub were cool and crisp, making the whole sandwich a satisfying yet refreshing meal. I like how they ask if I would like to round up for the firemen. I realize Firehouse Subs were founded by firemen and they give back, so I said, "Why not?" since it's only rounding out to the nearest dollar. Although I think The Engineer will be my favorite and my usual to get, I'll be sure to try others on my repeat trips.

Both were very well made and beautifully presented As far as the food goes, we got the feta honey cheese pie which was very new to us but was excellent. It was very crispy and flaky on the outside with sweet sticky honey drizzled on top but then warm, melt in your mouth cheese in the middle. The greek salad was very fresh and delicious. We love the potato salad core. We also got the Greek sampler that had a lovely and light feta cheese spread with hummus and tzatziki with peppers and red onions. Very tasty and delicious. It came with a side of pita bread. The main entree we got the Chicken Ala Mykonos Dinner. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The sauce on the orzo was creamy but light. Everything worked well together and was perfectly balanced. We were so stuffed we brought home three boxes of food. When we were leaving Nick offered us two biscoff desserts to go. They looked so delicious we had to try a sample of it when we got home even though we were completely stuffed. The dessert tasted like a light version of a biscoff cookie. My plate was full with the burger itself, fries, and separately the usual burger toppings.
