We just really want to love this place. My partner and I order from here 2-3 days a week... sometimes pickup, sometimes through their delivery service. Today we went in to order with a handful of "free smoothie/meal" cards that the distract manager gave us for the constant mess ups we've been getting. (Mess ups mostly being the delivery driver forgetting the bag of our food and only bringing smoothies, resulting in us having to leave the house to get them.) Not only did the cashier not want to take the cards, but the order itself took almost 30 minutes to receive. We were late to our son's baseball game because two paninis took that long to make. It was not busy, there weren't a ton of orders, and the cashier kept repeating our name (that we gave her for the order) over and over and looked confused when she approached us. If we are one of two couples in the building, how hard is it to keep us straight?? As someone in the restaurant industry who takes 30-40 tabs at once on a busy night, it's frustrating. Pay attention. It's not hard to keep two couples straight and get the food out in a timely manner. We love the food and smoothies here... it's super close to home, too. It's just so disappointing to always have bad experiences. We appreciate the district manager for sending us coupon cards, but if the staff doesn't even want to take them, what's the point? read more

I will never go to this location again! Terrible place, I am a black person who has been kicked out twice just for sitting there minding my business. Racist workers, white worker said she was uncomfortable thinking we were staring at her while I was sitting with my dad and the day before I was locked in before being kicked out. They allowed other people to sit in there while I had to leave, terrible service and racist workers. Drink was terrible anyway. read more

The $13 açaí bowl is literally a frozen cup of already made açaí with some toppings thrown on it. Not remotely fresh. It's food prepared the laziest way possibly that impacts the taste and freshness. For the price, it's outrageous. read more

The two girls working were beyond rude and acted like we were bothering them by being there and placing an order. If you don't like your job, quit!!! Why is customer service so horrible these days?! And this isn't the first time I've had crappy service here. One time I waited for a bit in the drive thru with no response so I went around to the front and walked in to be helped and waited around with no greeting or mention like hey sorry we couldn't respond to you...what the hell?!!!! I've been getting deliveries from this place for some time now. I agree with some of the reviews. The portions aren't consistent. What upset me most is on a recent order they forgot my açaí bowl. I called and they acknowledged it. The guy I spoke to, I'll be nice and not leave his name, said he'll leave a note for the manager and I should receive a refund in a few business days. Portions are always off. It's never a balanced serving. No consistency, especially when it come to the açaí bowl. One day you get more açaí with very little granola or fruit. Other days you get more than half granola with very little açaí, or is some cases you don't get fruit at all.. this location is by far the worst when it comes to servings. read more

Upon arriving it was apparent the employees were not checking online orders, and thus weren't aware of my order... I went inside to discover 4 employees two of which apparently just arrived and was told a manager had just left. I could see them packing up orders to go but Noone was working on waiting customers! This is inexcusable in my opinion. There were a few customers waiting inside but most already had their order. If I could give this location a negative I would. The smoothies were icy syrup that didn't even have flavor. Not only was everything overpriced but Taco Bell has better food. The avocado grilled cheese was no only soggy and moist, there were things in it that I could not even identify. Apple kale slaw was DROWNING in dressings to the point where it looked like soup. I went in recently to check this place out for the first time, and I was so surprised by the service. I was shocked to see the environment between the staff and what looked like the manager. The supposed manager was loudly yelling and belittling the staff enough for the entire store to hear. I was also constantly being abruptly interrupted when asking about the menu options as it was my first time trying this place out. Needless to say, I don't think I will be coming back to this location specifically, and hopefully will get better service elsewhere. read more

slightly off... i was recommended this cafe by a friend but when i walked in during the lunch hour i was immediately thrown off by how empty the building was, although it had a nice energy otherwise. i ordered a mango smoothie and quesadilla with a side of corn, which was decent enough, but the worker who helped me did not seem to be having a good day. moreover, the price was far more than expected-- my total ended up being $17.00 for three items. overall, i probably would not return to tropical smoothie cafe but it was enjoyable enough to earn three stars. read more

I don't recommend this place at all. I ate a chipotle chicken sandwich and got extremely sick. I ended up at the ER and got told I have Rota Virus and was throwing up and more I don't want to say on here from this place. I had a weird feeling when I was eating the sandwich but I was hungry and also didn't finish it. I started feeling sick a few hours after eating this. These people must not be washing their hands, aren't being sanitary, or following health and food safety protocols and/or are serving bad chicken. I'm scared to try to eat chicken anywhere else now. I've been extremely sick and I do not recommend this place. Based off the reviews prior I see this is no surprise. My wife called to see if they were open and why the online system said they were closed. The girl that answered the phone just said very abruptly that the online order system is broken and it's in store orders only then hung up the phone. Not the best first impression.
