For example, today I ordered two chicken soft tacos with extremely fresh garnishes. It was $2 Taco Tuesday so I got out the door for under $5 including a modest tip. Chipotle can't match that. The service was super friendly and very prompt. The only problem is that, at least for now, this is the only U.S. location -- it's an Australian chain that is just making inroads in the states. Hopefully we'll see many more in the near future. Yum!

When we walked in, the space was bright, clean, and refreshing. They have a decent amount of seating indoors or you can get your food to go. Service was great! Super friendly and a pleasant interaction. This place functions similar to Chipotle, you pick your choices and build either a bowl, burrito, quesadilla, taco, or nachos. Let's just get this clear -- this place could easily beat a Chipotle bowl. I eat Chipotle often due to its close proximity to my house, but that might change now. Their meats are kept warm in a Dutch oven style pot and they offer a number of toppings for your entree along with several signature sauces (chipotle sauce is so good). I got a barbacoa beef bowl with white rice, black beans, sour cream, cheese, corn, and chipotle sauce. (As pictured) this bowl HIT it was so delicious I quickly devoured the whole thing. The corn had red cabbage instead of onions (they have a separate onion/cilantro topping) and that was life changing. The combination of the flavors was immaculate. The star of the show was the meat. It literally melts in your mouth: so soft and full of flavor. You can also add a side of chips and salsa/queso for a nice price with your meal. They also offer cookies and other sweets as an additional add on. Their fountain drinks were great - not watered down like some places. I recommend this place HIGHLY. I was honestly not expecting the experience I had but I was going into it blindly not knowing what to expect. We will definitely have this in our regular rotation.

They have a great selection of craft beers on tap and I tried the Barleycorn's Crazy Norse NEIPA. It was a pretty good hazy. For lunch I ordered the 10 Doc Style Chicken Wings. The wings are very small and were very mild. The ranch was good. This is a typical sports bar with bar food. They have a large outdoor area which was enclosed, but I imagine they open it up when the weather gets warmer. Full bar with plenty of TV's for watching your favorite sports teams.

In fact the first wing I took, which was a wing not a leg, basically disintegrated in my mouth where the bones broke up and I had a mouthful of bone and chicken meat, and I had to spit it all out into a napkin from there I was picking meat from the wings afraid to have another situation. I didn't want to choke on a chicken bone. Bartender asked how I was doing, I shared my experience and he offered to buy me a beer. that was disappointing since I left half the wings, only ate a few chips that I had ordered to go with my wings. basically $22 meal that I gave up for a $3 compensation. poor experience. Be a while before I go back.

While traveling in northern Kentucky, he stumbled upon one of these places, The Farmstand Market & Cafe. Farmstand offers comfort food with a farm-to-table focus served in a cozy space with a bar and attached market. We started with the Goetta Hanky Panky Dip. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The pastrami was dry but had a good salty flavor. The sauerkraut was crunchy and had a good sour flavor cutting through the salty meat and the sweet dressing. The cheese was gooey and nutty and added flavor to each bite. I sampled the French dip sandwich and Mulligatawny soup. This was prepared with a sliced top round with provolone on a French roll. The soup was prepared with rice, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, lentils and spices. The chicken was very tender, the rice was cooked well, and the vegetables added texture to the rice. The soup was flavorful, had a wonderful aroma, and had a good salt content. The top round was thin and offered good flavor and chew. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. The Fat Man says that The Farmstand Market & Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.

This place is knocking it out of the park from a food court at the Florence Mall. I had the loaded fries which were a great value for the portion size. I expected to eat a few bites but ate the entire huge portion because they were so good. And I had a pineapple Fanta which was a revelation. I know that's more of a brag on Fanta but these guys were smart enough to offer them. Service was extremely friendly and helpful, even going so far as to hand me a printed version of their menu since they could tell I am blind as a bat and was struggling to read the menu board. The atmosphere is what it is. These guys deserve better than a food court but it won't stop me from going back, and Florence Mall does a surprisingly good job of keeping the area and tables clean. My friend's food looked awesome as well. Can't believe I'm trying to talk other friends into hitting the food court as a dinner destination but here I am. I feel so blessed to have stumbled upon this gas-station-adjacent gem, as we haven't had good Mediterranean fast food in Florence since Mr. Kabobski's moved to Hyde Park. The guys running this place were nice and friendly; the food was hot, quick, and so good! The spice blend on the Shwarma was unique and savory- unlike any I've tried before! Yeah, it's attached to the Marathon, but don't judge the place by it's looks; wait until you try it... You'll be like me and come back for more!
