This place is definitely a hidden gem! The sweet Thai chicken bahn mi is soooooo good, and so is the Vietnamese coffee with lychee jelly. Wonderful spot to get something for us and kids. We got the chicken teriyaki bun mi for us and cheese pizza for kids. There was nice open area with kids table and playground. Food was reasonable and sad to see this so quiet. We would have liked to visit the Lego cafe which just closed permanently the week before. read more

After spending a day at the Newport Aquarium-we were looking for something refreshing on the hot day and decided to try this out. I ordered a salted caramel ice coffee and two taro milk teas with LESS ice....well it came with a TON of ice...not sure if they have control over this but I kindly asked for less ice on all of our drinks and didn't receive that. The ice was tiny ball like and the straw was made for bobas so we were chewing through ice to finish our drinks...not enjoyable at all and definitely not worth $5+ each. Looks pretty but I'd rather have ice coffee I don't have to chew ice through and made to my preference as it should be for everyone. read more

Kid friendly and inexpensive. I love some street food with great service . Stopped here with the kids before the haunted house . They didn't have the guts to try the bánh mì so they had pizza as a option which was great . They sale sodas and waters and even had some Halloween candy. It's a cute little place and so glad they opened it. There is service at the counter but you can also use a kiosk to place your order. They were very quick and the product was good. I keep trying to find authentic boba tea places since moving here from Queens NY and this place is on par with most of the chain establishments, the good thing about this store is that they followed through on mixing it. read more

Not sure how to feel about this place. Me and my buddy came a little over an hour before closing and the workers seemed very out of it. I didn't let it bother me, so I just went ahead and ordered. We ended up ordering their "bon mi Cha" and large mangoanada. The banh mi was decent, but it was lacking. The cha or steamed pork added was so very little for the price. The picture advertised on this Yelp page as not consistent with what is actually given when ordered. We literally only had two small pieces of cha in each of our banh mi. I did appreciate the toasted bread. I know a good banh mi when I taste one, coming from San Jose and this wasn't it. I have yet to find a good banh mi place around Cincinnati. The large mangoanada wasn't too bad. It was nice to have on a hot day. It was definitely a surprise to me to see it on their menu. Really good menu with a wide variety. The only negative would be no obvious choice in the sweetness level of the boba. You take what you get. It was good but as sweet as I would have liked. Worth a visit and I will be back! read more

Wasn't a huge fan of the Vietnamese coffee. It was mostly ice for how expensive it is. Maybe they're just getting up and on their feet, because they were completely out of Boba, too. I'll try back again and update once they've had some time to get established. read more

I was craving Vietnamese Banh Mi and coffee on my drive out of Cincinatti to Louisville so I stopped here! What a cute location next to the aquarium. The Vietnamese iced coffee was delicious! The ice was the good crunchy ice if you know what I mean. The ingredients inside banh mi were fresh but i do wish the baguette was crispier. I'm excited to try their smoothies next time! Definitely cute to see a small place to get Vietnamese street food in Newport on the Levee. I enjoyed my chicken bon mi, although I wish the bun were slightly higher quality (although, hey, I guess it is street food). They were out of boba tea when we visited (a little disappointing), and our Vietnamese iced coffees were a bit more like ice with a splash of coffee. All that being said, I would definitely come back here for a quick, light bite to eat while out on Newport on the Levee. read more

My first experience with Bon Mi was great. My partner and I came back from our trip and couldn't wait to bring our child here because The Gallery is a special place in our relationship. This year it seems the same care to customers service is no longer there. The gentleman waiting the counter (I'm assuming he was either the owners kid or knows the owners in some capacity) was very rude. Just stood behind the counter and offered very little in any way for customer service. Due to supplier shortages there where zero flavor options (which we were unaware until we used the self service kiosk). Then at the end of our experience the gentleman seemed upset that I refused to leave a tip. When you do the bare minimum or less than that tips are the furthers thing you should expect. The next time my family visits The Newport area, we're gonna find a new spot for Boba and Bon Mi. read more

Finally, a place to get a banh mi south of the river! I had no idea this place existed until I stumbled upon it while at the levee. Unfortunately that was on a Monday when they were closed, but I quickly made my way back there. I ordered a banh mi duo, which has pate and then both pork roll and head cheese. The sandwich was amazing. The bread was crispy on the outside but still fluffy on the inside. They use butter instead of mayo, which I had never had, but it works! The vegetables were fresh and the meats were plentiful. This place also puts Maggi seasoning on the sandwich (which they just label as soy sauce). I don't see a lot of places around town serving banh mis use Maggi, so that was a nice touch as I love the stuff. For $6.75, the sandwich was a bargain. They're a little on the small side compared to say PLT, but still an amazing value. What isn't a great value is $2 for a 12oz can of Coke, but I'm gonna chalk that one up to pandemic prices and just bring my water bottle next time. Overall, this place is great, and I can't wait to try some of the teas and yogurts too. read more
