Be careful at this location as they like to play with food! There is this Asian guy with glasses by the name of John that works here, and the guy seems like a sweetheart but don't be fooled. He gets annoyed easy and seems to only care when things are going his way. I had received the wrong order and notified John about the issue. He remade my food but my wrap tasted funny. This is the best place to go to once you finish going to the gym. The food is lightweight and the smoothies really hit the spot. I absolutely love the peanut paradise smoothie with whey protein and the Chipotle chicken club Flatbread. The sauce on the flatbread really brings it all together and the chicken is juicy. The service is pretty slow at this location but they do have signs saying that they are short staffed. So this location probably won't be the best if you're in a hurry. So today's visit was so-so. I've been to this TS for many years. My new favorite is the Avocolada (avocado, pineapple, spinach, kale, coconut and lime). Every once in a while, I go back to my original faves, the Paradise Point and the Peaches and Silk. I love that they now have an app where you can order ahead for pick-up, which is what I did on a Saturday morning. I ordered the Avocolada and the All American wrap which is ham, bacon, and cheese. I'm not much of a fan of their food but I knew I was going to be out for awhile that day, and a smoothie wouldn't have been good enough as it usually is for me. The mobile ordering went smoothly, and my order was ready as soon as I arrived. As I was eating my wrap in the car, I thought "well damn, this is actually pretty decent!" Halfway through it, is when it went downhill. I found a hair. Ugh. There goes my breakfast. There was really nothing I could do about it as far as coming back to let them know. Shit happens, I get it. But I know I'll be reminded of the unpleasant surprise and lose my appetite thinking about coming back. At least for a while. read more

Nice location, just like the rest. Lots of seating options. This is probably the largest tropical I've been to. The food was made pretty quickly and it was delicious (as normal). And our sandwiches weren't messy! Sometimes the turkey bacon ranch will come out all messy - like the bun slips off and everything. But these were good! The people working were also very nice. This location is close to where I live so I go here mostly in the mornings to grab some food before work. The store is very clean and promptly opens at the time posted outside the door. I've never had any problems at this location with my order or food. There are a lot of teenagers who work here which is expected but I never see any goofing around or disorganization when I'm here. The location is in a funky spot near a busy road sometimes making it difficult to leave at either (Holland or south plaza). My favorite to go order is either the buffalo chicken wrap or the calfornia club with a blue lagoon smoothie. The prices here from what I've noticed had stayed consistent. They have a 9.99 deal that includes a entree side and a smoothie. Not a bad deal including a full size smoothie. TSC is a sponsor for sunshine camp. I think the camp is for children with mental health disorders I could be wrong but I usually try to donate when they are campaigning for funds. In 2018 they offered a $5 donation that included a keychain that if you showed while in store would give you 5% off your Order the entire year. I tend to pass by this place since it's on my way to work. On one point, I used to be addicted to Tropical Smoothie, until I realized how somewhat "unhealthy" smoothies are here, and it's always the ones I really like, go figure! Anyway, when I was in love with TSC, I would always go for the Island Green, and recently it was the Banana Chia Smoothie. My go to wrap was the Jamaican Jerk Chicken. But with the last few visits the chicken there has tasted...frozen. Like it's been thawed out and was sitting in it's thawed out water. I don't know something about it didn't taste great, so I haven't ordered in a while. The last few times I have went to get a smoothie they seemed severely understaffed, but my smoothies still were good, so I'll keep coming back. read more

Although it's not deep fried, there is so much sodium in one wrap (around 2,000-/+). That's insane for one wrap! Love their smoothies, although they're really not as "healthy" as they claim. They post their nutrition guide online. If you're watching your calories, definitely check it out. All in all though, this particular location is my favorite out of all trop Smooths in the area. I ordered the baja chicken wrap with the beyond chicken. I asked for no cheese, and the salsa on the side. There was no salsa, but they did give me sauce on the side, there was no cheese but there was also no corn or black beans. The lettuce was rancid, wilted and Browning, some pieces were actually beginning to rot. The chicken was very uneven, one half had the perfect amount the other half had about 3 small pieces, but they were all at the top of that half. It was disgusting and even though I was talking to my stomach I couldn't eat it. I was going to bring it back since I was literally going to the apartments right behind it but my dog got on the counter. It was terrible. Remember they use real sugar, ask for Splenda if you want to cut out a few extra calories! Plenty of seating here, I've never seen every table filled (likely because most walk-in, walk-out with their smoothie). I have tried several, my favorite and go to smoothie will always be the Pomegranate Plunge, but when I want something different the Get Up and Gogi is pretty tasty as well. If you're a sales rep and need a place for catering please use this TSC location. Some of my favorites are the Health Nut, Peanut Paradise (I always add strawberries), Bahama Mamma, Caribbean Carrot and when I'm feeling a little "fruity" (taste wise), Peaches n' Silk. I love the Jamaican Jerk Chicken wrap, it always hits the spot. This location has "call-ahead" parking that you can utilize if you don't have much time to go inside, but you really don't need it to much since their service is speedy and efficient. Employees here are very friendly, helpful and keep the store nice and clean. Be mindful, their fresh and healthy ingredients come at a price. So your body will be happy with your decision but your pockets may be a little upset with your decision. But when you think about it the price is comparable to any other fast food place. Management is absolutely horrible. As I was waiting for my food I hear the manager going off on an employee for making the simple mistake of taking the ticket off the line too soon. He was so loud that even though he was in the back, we could all hear him up front. When he came up front, he was muttering expletives under his breath. So unprofessional.
