Dear Owner, Great Menu. Great Place. A couple of issues though... The kids working on the weekend hate working there. This is further compounded by the fact that it's a really popular spot on Saturday...Gym traffic, Shopping traffic. Lots of customers not enough motivated employees on the weekend cause long lines and lots of confusion. Also, the air conditioning is kept very low as in it's probably 80 degrees inside the store. According to the employees the owner doesn't want to spend too much money on air conditioning. Best time to go is during the work week first thing in the AM. Adults are working. I work in this shopping center so I frequently go for break, today I went got 2 smoothies for coworkers and they charged my card twice and when confronted they said that I needed to wait an hour for it to work itself out. it didn't, I called back and talked to an employee named mohomed and he was very rude and accused me of lying until I asked if he wanted to the charge he then said all I can do is call corporate. called corporate they filed a complaint with access to the receipt and proof that it's mine (through the app) and they still couldn't give me my money back. this is the last time I will go here. read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch to go. I've had the dragonfruit smoothie once before but it was too sweet. This time I asked the employee if there was a way to get it less sweet he said they can do less or no sugar. I had the absolute WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I ordered my food on the app on Sunday and went in to pick it up at the time it was to be ready. When I tasted my smoothie, I could barely taste any peanut butter, and asked them to remake it because I couldn't taste the peanut butter I had paid for. They didn't even respond when I told them that. They were going to take the one I had already tasted back, and I told them they probably didn't want to take it bc of COVID etc. and I threw it in the trash. There was a lady standing at the register ordering who became immediately involved with the conversation and I was confused. She started yelling at me and telling me I should have told them to put double the amount of peanut butter in the smoothie. As if I'm supposed to know as a customer how much peanut butter is put in the smoothie. And I said to her that I didn't even know why she was involved and speaking to me. She said she worked there. However she was not working there at that moment and should have shut her mouth and minded her business. She was yelling at me across the store and was very aggressive, angry and told me that I was wasting smoothies etc. It was AWFUL!!!! I asked her her name and she said I didn't need to know her name! And then proceeded to continue talking to me crazily. I will NEVER return to Tropical Smoothie and this chick needs to be fired!! There is no way she should be talking crazy to customers working clocked in or not!! She's very rude, unprofessional, and ignorant an ignorant bih, and needs to find a new place to work. I have never experienced anything like it. The customer is always right and she did this to me in a store full of other customers. I am the reason why you all have a job!!!! Well, contrary to the other social media posts I've read about this particular location, this is going to be a positive post! Of course, the one thing I absolutely LATE about TSC is when I enter, it always smells like burnt food being prepared... all of them smell like this and it's a COMPLETE TURNOFF! (TSC HQ, please take note to CORRECT THIS ASAP, as it's the reason I NEVER choose coming here!) But, I was in a hurry and nearby today for lunch so I stopped in to this location, after driving/walking past it tons of times for the really good Chinese place next door or the horrible Sweeto in the plaza. The you girl you rang us up was very friendly, smiled a bunch and was very helpful. We chose their Buffalo Chicken Wrap and their BBQ Chicken Flatbread and both tasted quite nice! Only suggestion I'd have regarding the Buffalo Wrap would be to roll/fold it so the lettuce mixes in better to prevent taking one bite of solid chicken and two more bites of boring lettuce. The flatbread was really nicely done! Their menu has been revamped since the last time I have been to one of these places for lunch (like I said, it's been forever, as I hate the horrible smell) and it was hard picking what to eat, but the items I selected were fairly priced, prepared well, seemed fresh and tasted good. The restaurant was clean and well-organized. The mensroom was out of service, but the women's restroom was decent. Overall, I'd come back to this location. But I will say, until it smells sweet, fresh and appetizing inside (like the Smoothie King a couple miles away, which is really good), I can't see coming here too frequently. read more

This place is ridiculous! The reviews that talk about a bunch of teenagers with no supervision working is absolutely true. Due to the fault of Tropical Smoothie's online ordering fail telling me that my order didn't go through and there was an error resulting in me trying to order again, I ended up getting double charged with double my order made and ready for me when I picked it up. When I walked in there was one girl helping another customer at the register and 3 male teenagers just standing around doing nothing. I had to wait for the one employee apparently actually working that day (the girl at the register assisting another customer) to ask me if I was there for pick-up while she was in the middle of still helping someone else. Finally because of her direction, one of the boy teenagers gets my order and this is when I find out about the ordering mishap. I receive no direction from him as to what I need to do to resolve this and have to tell him I'm only taking 2 sandwiches because that's all I ordered. He then hands me the 2 and says nothing. Nothing! I just stand there until again, the girl, the only one with any semblance of communication skills working that day, tries to assist me. Come to find out though, she doesn't have the capabilities to issue me a refund and nobody working at that time does either. She tells me to go on the app to request a refund, which I did and never received a response for. So the lesson is, if you have a teenager that's looking for a job where they can stand around and do nothing unsupervised, this Tropical Smoothie is the place for them! read more

I just left this establishment after having to walk out with my 10-year old. When I entered, music was loudly playing and the music was very inappropriate. To quote the lyrics, "F^*k this H*e." After realizing how wildly inappropriate the music was, I had to walk my daughter to the car while I waited for the smoothies. While I don't expect them to play Kidz Bop, and I too enjoy hip hop, this was the wrong setting and the teenagers working there did not seem to see how this was not conducive to this type of establishment. This place is ridiculous in the evening... too many young kids working that have no type of customer service. Didn't greet when I walked through the door and had to wait at least 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged by staff. Placed an online order and when I received the order it the smoothie was so watered down. This is not the first time of me coming here in the evenings and the service is mediocre. The past two times coming here in the evening my order was incorrect and I didn't find out until I made it all the way home.
