Because we were a walk in we went to the next available stylist she honestly wasn't the friendliest I just expected a different personality for a children's stylist. Well, we got through the wash but she didn't want to finish because another customer came in. The other stylist even asked her what was wrong she was like awe my appointment is here I can't, I was really shocked that she wanted to just stop working with one customer to start with an easier one without any level of communication with me as the parent. She was just asking strangely, I personally think she isn't really a stylist trained to do various hair types and she didn't know what yo do. Thankfully Erika agreed to finish my child's hair to compensate for the lack of professionalism of her coworker. We walked in expecting a child-friendly environment, but it's just a normal barber shop, with normal seats, but with paintings on the walls and TVs at each station. We signed up specifically for baby's first haircut and we reiterated that it was our son's first haircut before starting. The barber put absolutely no effort getting our son comfortable and just went in on him, telling us to forcibly hold him down. We expected the haircut to take maybe 15-20 minutes, but we were done in 5 minutes since our barber couldn't have cared less and just starting buzzing away despite us saying we just wanted a trim. Our son ended up looking like Mark Davis (pic attached for reference). His hairline is now at the top of his head and the rest of his hair is uneven as if he took safety scissors to his own head. Needless to say we are never going back and would not recommend anyone take their child. NOT TO MENTION it was $30 for the 5 minute botch job, more than I pay for my own haircut at the barber shop.

Mina whisked my boy into a chair and got him nice and comfy. it was just us so Mina and her two team crew got to work. they made sure he wasn't fussy and kept up positive reinforcement. super happy I brought him here as he has my super fine Asian hair and they cut his hair in a way that it fell naturally. The woman we encountered was probably one of the most miserable people I have come across in a children's hair establishment. When we first walked in we were so happy and excited.
