New ownership. Had been taking vehicles here for 20 plus years. Took my truck in to look at the air. Was sent an electronic list of issues needing fixed. My truck has 250,000 miles. May be worth $10,000. They sent a lost totaling more than the value of the truck. Over $11,000. I declined took it to a trusted mechanic that charged me $148 for actual needed repairs. No phone call explaining what was necessary or what could wait. Just a list of accept or decline fixes. I can only assume the hope is you will accept all I will not be going back nor my family. read more

Always nice and very fair and reasonable. They're always busy so try to book an appointment even for an inspection. They have a schedule and keep to it. I've had my Mazda there for 2 tire rotations and even though the tires are original, they rotate them at no charge. Who DOES this in today's world! 10 stars! read more

This place is absolutely awesome while driving on a long trip from Florida to up north my engine malfunctioned and leaked all my oil. In a panic we had to figure out a place to go and out of the 5 we found in the area off 77 they were the only ones that answered right away they got me in found out the problem and within no time got to work on my car then while going through all the panic you have the wonderful owners and staff to socialize with they just make it such a great environment. If I ever had to go through something like this again I'd pray that I'm near these lovely people for help! read more

I initially went in for an inspection a few months ago, and I felt so good about the place that I decided to come back when my car needed work. I had 2 tires replaced, an alignment done, and my belts replaced. Their customer service is great, the price was fair, and Andy was able to handle my level of awkwardness. We became customers and fans today. We discovered at an I-77 rest stop 30 miles north of Charlotte that one of our tires had spring a leak. With almost 300 miles still ahead of us and a 3-year-old in the back seat, we were feeling a little frantic. After getting some tips from some Good Samaritans and wrestling the spare onto the rim, we turned north and headed into Troutman. About 7 miles west of exit 42, we came across Troutman Tire and Auto. We explained the problem and were told to pull up to Bay 2. I fished out the flat tire from the trunk and left everything in the hands of the guys there. Fifteen minutes later, the tire was patched and we were on our way. We had no appointment and were clearly from out of town with a flat tire and a kid. We were, in other words, at their mercy. Total cost: $10.00. Honest work at a fair price. What more can you ask of a garage? read more
