I can't say enough good things about this place! Honest team, friendly service and great communication. Called them to try and troubleshoot some issues I was having with my AC, and wheel bearings. They were helpful over the phone and in person. They were also able to replace my ABS sensor. Keith and Michael especially, communicated with me about pricing estimates, when the parts would be there, and provided me with updates when needed and when the parts were delayed. They didn't nickel and dime me for each little thing- very fair pricing. They were flexible with me around my schedule. my regular guy was inconveniently between shops at the end of summer when the silver truck was driving poorly. the engine would wind up something fierce but didn't transmit those revolutions to the wheels. sounds like a job for Transmissions Unlimited..! but NOPE! bad slip yoke, bad bearing up front, bad rear CV-axle, sketchy brakes, and the AC compressor is shot - not sure why it was still blowing the coldest of all airs, but it was wrecked none the less and stealing all the power. after assessing the suggested repairs I elected to have them fix the the drive line stuff while I took care of the bearing and made arrangements for the AC - so no cold air during the warmness :-( everything seems to be in good order a month later and I'm mostly okay with that even though it was a little spendier than I expected (not unreasonable since I didn't have to dink around getting filthy and using coarse language after working my regular job all day) and it was done by the weekend despite coming from the KC MO FoMoCo plant which left me with just the wheel bearing to do, easy peasy... so when I got the AC taken care of that shop found a holed transmission line that was discharging into a mostly concealed cavity in a cross member hiding the leakage (it's a Ford so this type of thing isn't a complete surprise) but it was leaking and a little low on fluid and I kinda think a transmission shop could have noticed that while they were noticing the brakes and the bearing and the slip yoke and the CV shafts and the brakes and stuff... read more

These are good honest people! My father and I trust them with any issues we have with our vehicles(Ford F-150 and Jeep Wrangler)! My whole steering system was messed and they got to it as soon as they could! They were pretty backed up when I went in but they informed me of about how long it'll take to get caught up to my truck and get the work done! I truly didn't feel like I was getting ripped off and they corrected the work done wrong by another shop and walked me through everything I needed for the repair! I'll definitely be going back soon within the next week to get the rest repaired! I brought my car in today for some custom exhaust work. Mike put the car on the lift and we discussed my options . Mike was honest and really cared about me being happy with an end result. Its never a good day when your transmission light comes on!!! Well these folks helped take a deep breath and explained what was wrong with my SUV. They took my car for a test drive and used the program coder to see what codes it had. Being a 2016, we called the dealer and they offered to repair the transmission problem. I had a leak between the transfer case and transmission and brought my truck here to get repaired. I knew it was a bad gasket, but they explained to me other things that could have gone wrong with it as well. The staff and mechanics here definitely know their way around vehicles. The price I paid was way lower than anywhere around Charlotte hat quoted me! Worth the extra little drive up to Mooresville for that, and to know that the job would be done right. As a female, I get nervous about taking vehicles to a mechanic. Steve, was a really nice guy from my hometown. They made me feel 100% comfortable and I trust them completely. They were very real with me. The issue that I went in about, they told me I could fix or I could just let it be. As long as I watched fluid level it would be fine. Of course, we will get it fixed by them, but was happy to know I didn't have to spend the extra money right before Christmas. Highly recommend!!! Was back at Transmission Unlimited today with my other vehicle. Again, fantastic service. So much so, I posted the following review on a Moms group on FB...... Good chilly afternoon moms!!!! As a female, I know it can be intimidating to take our vehicles to the car shops sometimes. In fact, several months ago, I posted looking for advice on some places. After searching the internet and reading online reviews, I fortunately found Transmission Unlimited in Downtown Mooresville. Ron and Steve are Amazing. Very honest and trusting. I paid $65 for oil change and tire rotation at Walmart, today at Transmission Unlimited I spent less than $28 and they fully looked over my car to make sure everything was good and safe for the kids and I and the upcoming snow. I have also had experience with them in regards to a transmission issue on husbands truck. A++ service! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
