    Pool table and games

I had an amazing stay at the True in St. George! The hotel was located in a quiet part of town and was very easy to find. The staff at Tru truly made my stay special- I travel a lot for work, and they went above and beyond to make me feel like I was at home! They were very courteous, funny and very helpful with directions around town. The hotel had a small snack shop, as well as some coffee and water available, as well as a great morning breakfast. The lobby also had a small game room with a pool table and some board games. The hotel had a very nice outside pool and hot tub, and the weight room had a bike and some free weights. The hotel room itself was incredible- very comfortable and cozy bed and very CLEAN and spacious. I was traveling from out of state- and had an amazing view of the mountains. The bed was amazing- the moment my head hit the pillow, I fell asleep. Thanks again for an amazing stay at the Tru! I really appreciated the staff's kindness and can't wait to stay here again!

Lots of games for families to play

For our first night "on the road", we were able to stay here. They're pet friendly. They have a special area that's easy to park large moving vans. There's a huge lobby area that's perfect if you have DoorDash delivered, or if you're a happy group wanting to play games. (there was a huge Connect 4, pool tables, and more. It was great seeing families have fun) There was a nice heated pool and jacuzzi. The wall near the elevator banks had hand written notes welcoming groups and notifying people of things going on. Our room was a single King and wasn't very large. There were hooks instead of drawers. And that was okay since we kept most everything in our luggage. The people at the front desk were super helpful (we needed another large towel and we bought some things at the front desk). There is a "shopping" area where I got water and an ice cream bar. Breakfast was quite good. The high top tables did have charging. There was an area where you could plug in, and hot spots where you could place your phone to charge. But, not all worked when I was there. There were some nice little places where you could curl up with a book if you wanted. It was overall a very nice stay.

I must say, St. George is a beautiful place to be for a weekend getaway! As soon as I arrived, I was able to obtain a park immediately. As I walked in, I was greeted by Katie at the front desk. I would like to give a special shout out to the Katie at the front desk and their staff at Tru by Hilton. I explained that I needed a room that was semi away from the noise because I needed to study for an upcoming exam, and they delivered! In fact, I even had 2 sets of ear plugs on my night stand. Thank you for thinking about me and going the extra mile. It really does mean a lot!

This was my first experience with a Tru Hotel by HIlton and I loved it! Hotel Lobby and Staff: The check in was effortless, easy and friendly. In the lobby, there was a pool table where families were playing. The front desk looked like a round cashier station at an airport gift shop. The desk was surrounded by snacks, candies, water etc that could be purchased. This is a very casual, family oriented hotel which I was fine with. Rooms: The decor and furniture gave a very contemporary, artsy modern feel. The rooms felt like model rooms you'd see at Ikea. The bathroom was spotless. The water pressure was strong and there was plenty of hot water. (Pet peeve of mine) Breakfast: The Hotel lobby also acts as the morning breakfast dining area. The lobby was packed with full families enjoying the complimentary breakfast. I went with scrambled eggs, sausage and bagel. All was well. The location right off the highway is fantastic. This hotel was packed with traveling families during my stay. The accommodations are fun, very casual and they do it well. Don't expect any upscale services are offerings and you'll be fine. Safe Travels!

    My daughter loved the view!

Amazing service, very clean and affordable. Offered a lot (WiFi, breakfast, pool, water) they do only accept Cards no cash. The only downside is there is no microwaves and the fridge provided didn't cool enough, as I brought my daughter's milk.

We are loyal to Hilton and appreciate their Hilton Honors program for accumulating points. So when we were planning to be in the St. George area we decided on this hotel. The location seems convenient and easy to find. We use the Hilton app and Check-in and obtain the digital key which makes it nice to simply go straight to your room versus stopping at the front desk. The lobby area looked clean and well stocked and we headed to our fourth floor room. We've stayed at Tru's several times and the room and amenities were similar. The room was clean and well setup for our luggage. Our only complaint for the Tru by Hilton's is the rooms are on the smaller side. We slept well and our room was quiet and comfortable. You can hear the traffic from I-15 but it didn't bother us.

I was in St. George celebrating my birthday with my family, so having a smooth, stress-free stay was so important to me. Daniel completely exceeded my expectations....his customer service is top-notch, and he truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He single-handedly turned our trip into a five-star weekend! A few highlights from our stay: * The Breakfast: Really solid overall, but the biscuits and gravy deserve a special shoutout. Most hotel continental breakfasts serve bland gravy, but this one had the perfect amount of pepper and spice. I loved it! * The Rooms & Atmosphere: Clean, fresh, comfortable, and felt very safe. We were treated to a beautiful view of the mountains right from our room. * Pet Friendly: They treated my little Maltipoo like royalty! Finding places that truly welcome pets can be tricky, so this meant the world to us. If you are heading to St. George, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Huge thank you to Daniel and the rest of the La Quinta staff for an amazing birthday weekend. We will definitely be back!

So...I decided to go with my old faithful La Quinta...and let me tell you...this place is good! Lots of spaces in the lobby to hang out. It has a pool and a well stocked little snack store. The staff is nice. They have a breakfast and you know it looked typical. Breakfast ends at 10 but it was nearly check out time (11am) and the food was still out at around 10:30. I asked if I was able to eat since it was still set up and the staff was cleaning up. Everything looked so fresh. I have to say this was the BEST breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. I mean, if I had gone to a breakfast restaurant that was sit down and I was served this plate. I would've happily paid for it. The potatoes were nice and spicy but not hot, the eggs were seasoned. The muffin wasn't dried out at all. There was also sausage bacon, a waffle station, bagels, biscuits, bread to toast, selection of juices and coffees. There was cereal. It was just really good. My room was clean and smelled good. I was having a really bad vacation my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Anyway my situation requires me to stay another night overnight in St. George next week so I will absolutely be staying here...it was the breakfast that really sealed the deal. I was going to give this a five anyway even without the breakfast included, but that put it over the top. When I got to the front desk, the lady who was working, asked me if I had any special requests and I said yes I would like a room that doesn't have anyone next-door to it and close to an elevator and she was so accommodating and she found me the perfect room. I was checked in around 9pm.

While eating breakfast my wife noticed that her bagel was showing signs of mold/ I chose not to make a scene and quietly pointed wit out to the service employee. In a condescending town she told me the green was blue berries. Still choosing to take the high ride I took the mold to the front desk and was told I could wait a half hour to talk to the manager. I explained I was on vacation and the manager could contact me. We continued to enjoy the July 4th holiday. Upon check out I was asked about my stay and advised the guest service representative of the the moldy food and would appreciate the manager following up. I left my business card to make that process easier. I gave them one week before posting a review. A simple I am sorry for the attitude was all that it would have taken and acknowledge the problem. Bagels are difficult to keep fresh and the world was not ending the lack of remorse and worse assuming I can't tell green from food dye 12 is enough to let you know about commitment to guests. I found it interesting that the Wyndham rewards posters that are to be hung in offices to remind guest services staff to ask and entry guests are actually framed and hanging in elevators and around the building. If you have no issues here the hotel is not horrible but if you encounter any issues do not expect any level of this franchise to care one way or the other.

There are restaurants in every direction and easy to get to. You definitely have to drive...the road isn't really walkable and especially in the dead of summer. There is ample parking all the way around the building and multiple exit doors and elevators at each end. This BW has clearly been renovated. When we checked in we got the floor I requested and the front desk person told us all about the amenities including a daily free happy hour in the building across from the lobby. We made our way to our room and got settled in. The room felt and smelled clean. The room was just what I wanted with two queen beds and an AC unit that worked to perfection. I love when there are multiple lamps around with different brightness settings including on the nightstand. The room was also equipped with a wet bar with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Bathroom was stocked with loads of towels which is always preferred. We did check out the happy hour which was pretty good and yes included cocktails. If you stay don't skip it! We arrived really late at night, around 2:30-3:00 AM, and ended up standing outside the hotel entrance for about 10-15 minutes because nobody was at the front desk. We were calling the front desk number and nobody answered. Luckily, there happened to be another guest sitting in the lobby -- honestly a blessing at that hour -- and he let us inside so we weren't stuck outside in the cold. Even after getting inside, we still waited another 10 minutes or so before someone from the front desk finally showed up. We called the front desk number again while inside and still got no answer. Overall, it took close to 20-25 minutes just to see an attendant and get checked into the room. I stay at a lot of IHG hotels and have some level of membership with them, and at most locations it's pretty common to at least be greeted warmly or offered something simple like points or water bottles. Unfortunately, when the attendant finally showed up after the long wait, it honestly looked like she didn't care at all. I even asked if they had any water bottles available and she simply said no. She just didn't seem welcoming or interested in being there, which was disappointing considering a hotel front desk is a customer service role. Once we finally got into the room though, everything was fine and pretty standard with no other issues during the stay.
