This hotel is a pretty standard stay with all the typical amenities you would expect. It offers free parking, the location is easy to find right off the freeway, and it worked well for us since we were just passing through the area. The biggest issue we had was with check-in. We arrived really late at night, around 2:30-3:00 AM, and ended up standing outside the hotel entrance for about 10-15 minutes because nobody was at the front desk. We were calling the front desk number and nobody answered. Luckily, there happened to be another guest sitting in the lobby -- honestly a blessing at that hour -- and he let us inside so we weren't stuck outside in the cold. Even after getting inside, we still waited another 10 minutes or so before someone from the front desk finally showed up. We called the front desk number again while inside and still got no answer. Overall, it took close to 20-25 minutes just to see an attendant and get checked into the room. I stay at a lot of IHG hotels and have some level of membership with them, and at most locations it's pretty common to at least be greeted warmly or offered something simple like points or water bottles. Unfortunately, when the attendant finally showed up after the long wait, it honestly looked like she didn't care at all. I even asked if they had any water bottles available and she simply said no. She just didn't seem welcoming or interested in being there, which was disappointing considering a hotel front desk is a customer service role. AMAZZZZING little hotel- so so clean , super nice registration agents and cozy comfy beds !! The free breakfast was a bright spot as well - great selection, stocked well and also very tidy. When the swimming pool was compromised prohibiting usage the manager kindly offered us reimbursement if we opted to try out the local hot springs (which we did not) If we ever find ourselves back in St George , we will gladly stay at Staybridge IHG again. read more

A nice hotel. We were in town for 2 days and so far so good with the hotel. We arrived at 4pm and the room was available. Everything and everywhere were clean. Not sure how old the hotel is. We got a 1 bedroom suite. The room is quite spacious with a separate living room and small kitchen. The sofa turns into a sofa bed. There's one bathroom. It's quiet while we are here and we like that a lot. The workers are very nice and always greeting us. During the day, there's coffee, tea and apples available for you to enjoy. Morning, breakfast is served at 6:30am until about 9:30am. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel. read more

We booked a queen suite that was advertised as having two beds and a pull-out sofa. When we arrived, the room instead had one king bed and a pull-out sofa, which we were willing to accept since we were only staying one night. However, when we went to use the pull-out sofa, there was a large urine stain on the mattress, making it completely unusable and raising serious hygiene concerns. The hotel was fully booked, so there were no alternative rooms available. As a result, four of us have to share one king bed. This was not the room we paid for, and the condition of the pull-out sofa was unacceptable. Cleanliness and accurate room descriptions are basic expectations, and unfortunately this stay fell short on both. The lady at the front desk was really nice, and apologetic but it's just unfortunate. read more

Originally, we were going to book a room for 2 nights for BW, or Best Western hotels here, but we found this one VERY CHEAP on Google hotels with a pool and spa, VERY clean rooms, free breakfast, a basketball/tennis court, (go to front desk and ask for balls) and a whole little house for a suite! (Kitchen, bathroom, queen bed and pullout sofa bed.) I know suites are like that btw. Clean pool and spa area, breakfast is pretty decent, clean halls, elevators and rooms. Stayed here on our trip to Zion National Park. We are a family with kids. Very clean and comfortable, with a nice kitchenette that has everything you need. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast included had all the standard fare. Check out is generous at noon! Even though it's a little ways out from Zion, we preferred staying here over Springdale because the accommodation seemed nicer and location was great for shops and restaurants. The drive to Zion was not bad at all. Perfect for a family with kids. read more

My experience at Staybridge Suites at St. George, Utah Guest Services needs improvement. Both individuals gave off an "unfriendly" vibe with no smiles. Hospitality crew seemed even more unwelcoming, their carts were left right outside the elevator door. We felt like we were in the way while pushing the wheelchair to the room. Room was uncleaned when we arrived at 4pm. "Check-In" is at 3pm. The hotel decided to upgrade our party however in the slide of my first glimpse pics, you may spot a "used" washcloth that was still hanging over the shower curtain Conveniently located off the freeway. Amenities includes a 24-hr fitness center as well as a terrific breakfast spread served until 10am. Sleeping on a cloud was the feeling I had when I slept with huge cuddle pillows. Stayed here a couple of nights for business. This was an ideal hotel for both short and long stays. The rooms are comfortable and roomy. Being a suite the rooms offer a kitchen with full size refrigerator and stove top. Cabinets are stocked with plates, glasses, pots, pans and utensils. I had the smallest suite and still had a desk to work from, a couch to sit back and watch tv, a king size bed and a full size bathroom. Space was not an issue. This facility featured a workout room, outdoor pool, basketball courts and a bbq area. Each morning features a breakfast area with some form of eggs, sausage and/or bacon, cereal, waffles, yogurt, coffee and juices. Think typical IHG breakfast but slightly upgraded. The Mr. and I spent a night in a one bedroom suite with a pool view last weekend. The hotel is well located, clean, comfortable and offers a great value. All the staff we encountered were friendly and professional. While we didn't take advantage of the free breakfast, many people were, and it appeared that there were a lot of options and choices. Clean hotel, wonderful amenities and friendly staff is what you'll find here. Their gym is large for a hotel and they have multiple machines. Although we did not use it, I was impressed by the fact that they have a basketball and Pickleball court and all the equipment that you'll need to play. The only thing that was lacking was the breakfast buffet. It was pretty bad. The scrambled eggs were cooked to dry leather, and in general the accompaniments were lacking. I know that they have a dinner buffet which is nice and a plus. The large refrigerator and cooking essentials in each room are a plus. We would definitely stay here again. read more

I had to stay here for 6 weeks while traveling for work. This hotel is very clean. The staff is very nice and friendly. The employees always greet you with a smile every time you walk in or walk out. The pool and courtyard area in the back is very nice. The room I had was a suite with a separate bedroom and living room. Nice size refrigerator and a stove. Plenty of cabinet space as well. Nice enough furniture and amenities, but the structure is built of absolute balsa wood and glue. Like seriously I can name you a laundry list of budget motels that are built more solid than this place. Neighbors will literally vibrate your bed and furniture just walking around, slamming their various doors and such, etc. God help you if its a bunch of feral kids running and jumping and throwing. You'll hear them screeching if they're near the wall too. People rattling the bed when I'm trying to sleep is an absolute dealbreaker for me but the standard room layout is kinda weird and annoying too. The desk is in an odd spot near the door facing a wall, with no easy way to get it to where you can see the TV. And if you use the desk for computer/work stuff ... there's nowhere to eat! Just little mobile footrests which I wasn't about to put food on. Ended up having to awkwardly drag out a lamp table and put the lamp on a footrest to have somewhere to eat. TV also has only 42 channels and the digital guide often doesn't line up with what's actually on or just inexplicably blacks out certain channels. Kitchen should also not be advertised as "full kitchen" in the standard rooms, it's tiny and really doesn't have adequate counter space. And people really need explicit instructions put in their face that there is a fume hood and it is controlled by a button on the microwave (like Johnny Liver And Onions the first night I was there). Best time to stay is Mo-We apparently as you get a free supper and wine/beer. If all the Staybridge locations are similarly built out of plywood and staples and have this room layout, however, I think this chain was a one and done for me. read more

Very nice and clean hotel. Stayed here for two days and did not have an issue. They have a gym room, free laundry (we didn't take advantage of) and heated pool I heard at 80 degrees. Spa was nice and hot too. They have basketball Court/ pickle bar court, and bbq's. They have a great complimentary daily breakfast with waffles, eggs, bacon, Cajun potatoes,turkey sausage, fruit, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, granola bars, hard boiled eggs. We just had a pleasant one-night stay at the Staybridge in St. George. It was my first time experiencing the hospitality of this chain, but not my husband's and he's right- they're a great place to check into. The staff greeted us immediately every time we stepped foot inside. The property was clean throughout. Our room had a kitchen with a sink, microwave, full-size refrigerator, and full dishwasher filled with plates, silverware, and pots if you wanted to do some cooking. Additionally, there was a comfortable living area and the room was an overall nice size for the two of us. There are signs in the hallways informing guests of the quiet hours from 10pm-6am so that people can get some sleep--love that! And it was quiet! There is a breakfast bar for guests with tea, coffee, cereal, bagels, DIY waffle makers, yogurt, fruit cups, and more. Keeping COVID-19 safety in mind, most of the items were individually wrapped, too. I have zero complaints at all about this hotel and would heartily recommend it if you're visiting St. George or Zion. read more

Horrible service. The maintenance guy at the pool and buffet was incredibly rude and he yelled at me and I witnessed him yelling at several guests at the pool. He yelled at me at the buffet to put on gloves (apparently they were required even though they were under a cabinet in the buffet). I also witnessed him screaming at 2 different people to shower before getting in the pool. I will never be back after being treated like that. There is never a reason to scream at a guest. read more

We had a wonderful stay here last week. This hotel is pet-friendly. $75 extra (total) for 7 days or less. Money well spent. We were a family of 7 + the #75 lb German Shepherd. We had a two (separate) bedroom suite with a living room that had a couch/pull-out bed. Big flat-screen TV in all three rooms. Full kitchenette that had a microwave, full-size fridge/freezer, and small counter stove with two flat-panel burners. And a full-size dishwasher. There were dishes and utensils, pots/pans - really everything you need. The housekeeping and front desk gives you paper-towels + dishwasher + dish soap. There's a Smith's (a mile or so away.) I suggest shopping for food there. Don't go to Harmon's unless you feel inclined to spend a ton of $$ on groceries. The outdoor pool & jacuzzi were warm/well-maintained. There's really nice (and free!) laundry facilities there - first-come/first serve, along with an adjacent/clean work-out room that has a lot of machines/weights/etc. The breakfast is really nice. Lots of options. And it runs from 6a-10a. Mon/Tues/Weds there is a social hour 530p-730p. Why it's only those three days is odd, but OK! They give you a pre-packaged snack box. Hummus/crackers or meats/cheese, etc. Nothing spectacular- but nice all the same. This is a pricey hotel, but you get a lot of amenities for your $$. The only issue we had was understanding the housekeeping schedule. They'll come in daily- but you have to ask for it. Every day I had to go ask to switch out our used towels for new ones - but the housekeeping staff never clearly explained why they kept missing out room. Thankfully, we kept our rooms/suite clean ourselves. *Word of warning - There is NO grass on the property. Only surrounding dirt-lots with sparse shrubs ...and tons of ankle-biting ants. So if you have a dog that is averse to dirt lots - you're going to have to walk a block to find some nice grass. Just be sure to bring some doggie-doo pick-up bags that the hotel nicely provides on a dispenser-stand in the parking lot. **The front-desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Even the maintenance/facility staff went out of their way to be congenial. If we ever go to St. George again, we will definitely stay here! read more

After kicking off our family road trip of 26 people, Staybridge Suites was our stay for the night. Aside from some misunderstandings and room booking complications, our stay was great! It was a hot day and all of us were dying for a pool to dip in. The outdoor pool had the perfect scenic view of St. George, UT. After the pool, we were all hungry and the stovetop kitchen in our suite was able to prepare our food and accommodate all of our bellies. The showers came with J.R Watkins shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, which was a plus! Aside from the room accommodations, the hotel had fountain drinks available before quiet hours and the free breakfast was quite possibly the best hotel breakfast I have had. If I were to be back in town, I would stay here again! read more

Overall the hotel was really good, front desk was fast and courteous, loved the room and the bed was comfortable, there with just a couple of notes. All of the eating utensils had rust marks on the bottom. The hotel breakfast was good and they had posted a sign that everyone needed to have a mask and provided disposable gloves for everyone to use. However numerous workers were in and around the breakfast area not masked including food handlers bringing out trays of food with no masks or gloves. Also workers looked the other way when a couple of folks didn't were masks in the breakfast lines. read more

I've traveled a bit for my employment and have stayed at Staybridge Suites a number of times. They are designed to be extended-stay hotels, but they cater just as well to the overnight crowd. I've had positive experiences with this chain in the past. Every stay I've had at a Staybridge has been marked by professional, friendly hotel staff. The Staybridge Suites in St. George is no exception to that. They are attentive, friendly, and eager to make your stay a pleasant one. My wife and I came for our anniversary and enjoyed staying in one of the hotels spacious suites. With a full kitchen (including dishwasher) and divided sleeping area and bathroom, it more than met our expectations that way. The beds are very comfortable and all the amenities are top-notch. The continental breakfast at Staybridge is what every continental breakfast should be: a self-service smorgasbord of delicious goodness! The staff were particularly attentive to the rushes of people and kept everything well stocked. This would be a five-star review, but the room to which we were assigned has a pretty serious design flaw: the air conditioning unit for the room is in a closet inside the sleeping area and it was noisy. Staying in St. George during the summer, the air conditioning unit turned on many times during the night. Each time, it woke me up. There was also a strange, intermittent sound that sounded something like a beeping fax machine that went on throughout our stay. We never could identify from where that sound was coming. read more
