I was misled into coming here based on their high ratings, but the reality was shocking.I paid thousands of dollars with the dual goal of lifting and volumizing my cheekbones, while also filling the smile lines near my mouth. Instead of using a thick, structured filler appropriate for bone and deep structural support (like Voluma) in my cheeks, the injector used Juvederm Volure for the entire treatment. Medically and anatomically speaking, Volure is a soft, highly flexible filler designed exclusively for superficial lines around the mouth. While it successfully filled the smile lines near my mouth, it completely failed in my cheeks--yielding zero lift, zero volume, and leaving my face completely sagged.To make matters worse, during the consultation I was told I only needed 3 syringes, but after they got my money and the cheeks showed no results due to their wrong product choice, they switched their story and claimed I needed 10 syringes! This demonstrates either a severe lack of medical expertise or a deliberate financial exploitation to empty their inventory at the client's expense. This was a total waste of money and the worst experience of my entire life. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone.As a final piece of advice: real-life experience is the ultimate proof, so do not be fooled by high star ratings! Make sure to read carefully about the types of filler and which area each type is designated for before making the decision to get injected.

I specifically mentioned before the injections that I was super concerned about eyelid droop and would honestly rather have a few wrinkles than deal with that. Well, sure enough, after just a few days, my eyelids started feeling incredibly heavy, and there was just no way of lifting them up (since the muscles are paralyzed). One eye ended up being worse than the other, which just made me look so lopsided and weird. Worse than that, I just felt like I looked like an idiot. I should also mention that I had 2 bruises near my eyes where I got the injections. This has never happened to me before with Dysport, etc. So, at my 2-week follow-up appointment, I expressed how unhappy I was. She told me it's a 'give and take,' like you have to give up one thing for another. She injected me with some more, but honestly, nothing changed. I still have these droopy, hooded eyes, and it's been a month. And I paid $450 for this. I'm definitely going back to the good people at Metamorphosis in DG. Do yourselves a favor and do not go here.

I'll report back once I finish my treatments. So far, they've been very thorough in walking me through everything every step of the way which I appreciate. I love that they take Cherry and CareCredit for financing, that they also have online booking, and almost every month they have some sort of special going on for both new and existing patients. Lastly, parking can be a bit tricky, as it's first come first serve right outside. Though I did find the parking deck around the corner on Adelaide, where you get 4 hours of free parking.

Instead, she explained that she just looks at my skin when I come in and decides what I need at that appointment. That was not what I thought I was signing up for, and it left me feeling confused and disappointed. The entire experience felt very unorganized and lacking in communication. For the amount of money I invested, I expected more transparency, more guidance, and most importantly, results. When I expressed my concerns, I didn't feel like they were taken seriously or addressed in a meaningful way. I did not come back to Accelerated Aesthetics after being so upset and reaching out the owner about my concerns. I left feeling extremely disappointed, overcharged, and frustrated. I found the location through Groupon and my first appt with them was in Novemer 2025 (I booked the same service as today) and I was impressed with how nicely I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I had been to one other location (not affiliated with Secrets) and I received a very luke warm acknowledgement when I walked in, so being greeted so kindly by the staff at Secrets immediately put me at ease. Then I met with Dianne - she has been so awesome and knowledgeable. She really took her time to do a legit consultation and patiently answered my millions of questions. She really made the experience seem like I was just hanging out with my best friend, who just so happened to also be injecting my lip filler (lol). Anyway, Dianne is also great with advising her clients to schedule post-procedure follow up appts (about two wks out) to see how the filler has settled, answer any questions and do a final massage and assessment to make sure the filler is nicely balanced and settled into the proper places. The very first place I had gone to in May 2025 did not offer these visits (at least not in my experience) and so needless to say I was put further at ease in her care and expertise in this thoughtful approach of checking back with her clients to make sure they're happy with their result. I experienced zero bruising or pain the following day after my injections and pretty much all of the swelling resolved within 2-3 days afterwards (just in time for the work week). My lips were everything I wanted out of the visit! Her injection technique is quite unlike what I had experienced at the other med spa I had gone to previously in May 2025. I received so many compliments from my girlfriends at work at how natural and flattering to my face it turned out (including my COO there, who also dabbles in filler and botox, complimented highly!). So, I went for my 2nd visit today (6/20/26) for a little "top off" and was again so kindly greeted by her amazing Team as soon as I walked in the door. My visit with Dianne today exceeded my expectations just as it had the first time I was there! She actually remembered the little personal tid bits I told her about me in our first chat back in November and again I felt like I was just hanging with my bestie She took the time prior to my injections to discuss what I wanted to achieve and show her where I felt I needed a little extra enhancement. Again, her technique is amazing!! I dont know how she does it but I have zero pain or bruising, I do have minimal swelling, but that's just to be expected and it's actually pretty mild considering I just had it done. I even went out to a last minute lunch in Oak Brook with a cpl friends about an hour afterwards - I didn't even bat an eye, or feel self conscious, that I had just come from a procedure appt. I cant wait to see how it settles in and will try to remember to edit this post with before and after pics. I'm pretty damn picky and critical when it comes to who I go to for any services I'm willing to put some bucks down for, but I will hands down keep going back to Secrets for any aesthetics related service as long as Dianne and her Team are there! Cannot recommend enough! 5+++
