Got my hair cut by Cat the other month for the first time and loved it. Great attention to detail, inspiring conversation, and she even recommended a product that worked great in my hair. For the last couple years I've been using silk infusion in my hair to get a little more curl near the ends, my hair is usually around shoulder length. She recommended Morrocan oil and applied just the right amount and it worked and even got me more bounce for the hair on the top of my head which I've always wanted but haven't been able to achieve that often. It was great and held for days. Really impressed how she approached the cut not only making me feel comfortable but answering all my hair care questions extensively and helping me better understand my hair's health and how to best take care of it. Also met some of the co-workers while there and they were all really nice. I like that this place is so close to amazing sidewalk shops and restaurants and most of all the beach, you can literally walk to the sand right before or after your cut. I had the worst experience with Cat. She completely messed up my hair and whatever treatment she did is causing my hair to fall out months later. She was unprofessional and spoke about the salon's drama the entire time, making it difficult to relax. I had to get my haircut fixed. It was so puffy and the other stylist was shocked, the length was mismatched all over in random sections. I think she was high if I'm being completely honest. 0 stars and I NEVER leave bad reviews, EVER. Go with another stylist. read more
