Luckily, my evening went more smoothly thanks to Dennis' Towing. My car broke down a the highway ramp near Staples Mill and I called at least 7 different towing companies in the area with no tow truck availability. When I called, I was told that there would be a truck available in approximately 45 minutes, and that they would call me back then. I was contact by Keith who was very professional and respectful. He called me to tell me when he was on the way, that he had a (more urgent) call from the police to respond to an accident and he let me know that it would be a little while longer before he could tow my car. No worries, I really appreciated that I was kept in the loop. Eventually, that evening, he towed my car to the mechanic and dropped the key off in their drop box. I've never used a towing service before, but Keith was very communicative which is important for times like these. Their prices were very fair - $65 base fee with an additional $4 per mile towed. The job got done and I'm satisfied with my experience; I'll be contacting them if I ever need towing again.

Making an appointment was super easy. I had the option to call or make the appt. online. Drop-off was quick and stress-free. Being a first-time customer, they didn't have any info on my car, and all it took was to slip my key fob into a special device that brought up all of the information about my car (super cool). I was given the option to wait in the lounge or drop off (no loaners currently available). I chose to wait it out since I had no one to drive me home. The lounge is small, but comfy. Coffee, snacks, nice chairs, and tv are all available to make your wait a little nicer. On a side (ish) note, I love to shop for Mini products and found that they really didn't have much in terms of a product store. Just a few things (t-shirts, caps) available... sigh! After just over an hour, my service rep came back with a report for me (wow, that was fast) on what needed to be done, the cost, and how long it would take. I was out of there in about 2 hours with two new tires, alignment, and fresh fluids. They offered a car wash as well. I would definitely recommend Crown Mini for servicing your beloved Mini. They are efficient and reliable, and will take care of your car like it was their own Mini. Much Mini love to Crown staff!

On top of that, I told them four days in advance that I needed a fast pickup and asked them to have everything ready. They said, "No problem, we can do it in 15 minutes." I get there and it takes two hours, so I had to leave and come back. Horrible service.

His rumination on the phrase "i felt ripped off" in response to the crashwrap beginning to peel off 0.5 miles from the facility was self-driven. That being said, why even recommend this as a temporary fix if I can't drive home with it? I would've liked it done right the first time and that's fair to express. We don't have to agree or see eye to eye and it's his right to feel I'm overly difficult. It was suggested that I should've cleaned my car first, not that they should've wiped it down the first time before applying wrap. (The car wasn't in the shop to have any crashwrap applied, so why would I have wiped it?) Ultimately I paid $104 to get an issue diagnosed and temporary tape put on the sunroof. I'm frustrated that I'm out $100 and the issue is not any closer to being fixed. The technician himself was amiable and communicative and the owner is also a pleasant man to work with. That being said this experience has burnt this spot for me. Having a disagreeable person work for you isn't a dealbreaker but maybe don't place him front of house.

I had it looked at by three different mechanics in Richmond area. All gave me a list of things that needs replaced. Each one's list was different things to be replaced. None of their suggestions sounded right to me. After looking on Yelp I found Mr. Kweleme. Mr. Kweleme replaced two of my vehicle's spark plugs and changed the engine oil and it fixed the issue. I also asked his opinion on the other things mentioned by the previous mechanics, and except one thing, everything else that was told by other mechanics was not necessary. Mr. Kweleme confirmed those parts are in good condition and explained why he thinks they need no replacement. I think Mr. Kweleme is also charges resonably. Thank you Mr. Kweleme!
