My Husband and I hired Kelly for our wedding, which was yesterday, and couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. We first did an engagement shoot with her, several months ago, and were so happy with how everything went -- from the initial phone consultation, to actually being able to relax in front of the camera with her behind the lens coaching, to the gorgeous result of the engagement photos. We got married out in Pala yesterday, and my only anxiety (which was huge) was the 95 degree weather. Kelly and her colleague showed up early, scouted the property for the best spots to do pictures that would be most comfortable for my husband and our families, and were prepared for the heat! They eased my anxiety so much, and were incredibly humorous yet professional. We felt so comfortable and at ease, even in scorching weather at one of the most important days of our lives. Kelly is amazing!!! She just did our maternity photos and we absolutely love them!!! She's so down to earth and sooo nice!!! Best photography experiences ever! Kelly is incredibly talented with her camera. Her ability to capture amazing moments with very little staging and in the movement - real time! I originally hired Kelly for a pre-holiday mini session for our wedding "trial run" and had to cancel for emergency surgery. Although it was past the refund period, she was so accommodating and we were able to work it out. We hired her for our wedding, untested, because of that experience. We had 2 ceremonies, both in remote locations. Our first was in the middle of a duck hunting "club" in Norco. Remote, dirty, four wheel drive access. She ROCKED it and got some of the best shots!!! The second was at the Santa Ana train station. We lugged 29 people on a party bus, throughout every inch of the station and then loaded on a train to Fullerton. She did not miss a beat and everyone was so happy with how quickly she turned the "mandatory" shots. We can't wait to work with her again and highly recommend her for any event photography needs!!! read more

You can imagine as the "Dad and Mom" of the bride, we were both excited and nervous about all aspects of our daughter's wedding. However, after we were introduced to Kelly, we could feel her confidence and through her ability to really listen to what our daughter wanted, cane to discover that any stress related to the photography part of the wedding, was gone. Kelly did a great job handling our expectations, her artistic skills are second to none, and she made the entire process fun. I met Kelly back in 2013 while helping plan my best friend's wedding. Kelly was so personable and super cool, you just want to be friends! My friend ended up using her and we both gushed over her pictures from both engagement and wedding. When my brother got engaged I told them they had to use Kelly and they were so happy they did. We hired Kelly for our engagement session and wedding in July 2014, and I have to say that it was the best vendor choice we had made. Photography was an important aspect for us because we had family and friends that would not be able to attend the wedding due to travel, so we wanted to share with them photos that would make them feel as if they were there with us. We contacted and met with several other OC photographers, but my husband and I felt like we still hadn't found "the one." After checking out Kelly's blog and loving her style of photography, we decided to meet up with her and I knew she would be our photographer from the minute I met her. She was very professional and organized, having her business card, pricing sheet and photography samples all laid out on the table. She thoroughly walked us through all of the different options and was willing to tailor a package and price to our needs. Most of all, we felt this sense of ease with her. She has such a caring and bright personality that we felt so comfortable with her, yet she knew when to take charge on the day of our wedding. What we loved about Kelly is that she was very prompt, returning emails in a timely manner and was always willing to work with our schedule. She delivered our photos quickly, but definitely took the time in the editing process and put little touches when delivering physical copies of our photos. She was also a great source for other vendor recommendations and made taking photos fun! My husband was a little skeptical of how our engagement session would go (as most men are), but Kelly helped us loosen up and we not only ended up having a blast, but our photos turned out fantastic! On the day of our wedding, we heard from many of our guests that Kelly didn't miss a beat. She kept everyone on schedule and was even willing to do the little things like help hold up my train, carry my flowers or make funny faces so that my nephew would smile in our photos. One of our big requests was to be able to take photos with our guests at each table and Kelly followed us around, being so patient when we wanted to take a few minutes to greet the people that came to our wedding. We received our final photos two weeks after our wedding and we couldn't be happier! We now have physical memories that will last us forever. I will definitely be recommending Kelly to all of my friends and family and we'll surely go back to her for anniversary, maternity and family photos for years to come. Kelly has photographed my brother's wedding, sisters wedding, and close family friends wedding ,and now, most recently my wedding. Of all the vendors I hired for my wedding, I was the most anxious/nervous/excited to hire a photographer. Having great photos of my wedding was my top priority, so after researching local photographers and seeing Kelly's website, I already knew she could take great pictures. However, it wasn't until after I met with Kelly that I realized that there is so much more to being a great wedding photographer than just taking great photos. The qualities that really set Kelly apart from the other photographers I met with, was her warm nature, her organization and her attention to detail. When I met with other photographers, they would just show me their portfolios and leave me with a business card. When I met with Kelly, she showed me her work but also presented me with a welcome packet. She took the time to assemble a beautiful packet with all pertinent information, a thank you card and gift with stationary made for True Bliss Photography. That showed me that she was completely dedicated to upholding the highest quality of work and creating something beautiful for her clients. At that point she was hired. Fast forward one year. We were just weeks away from our wedding and it was crunch time getting everything prepared. Kelly was always in close contact (even when on vacation). I could always expect an email response from her the same day, if not immediately. Her great communication kept me at ease, because I knew she was always there to help. On my wedding day, Kelly was on fire! I heard countless times from my guests that she and her 2nd photographer seemed to be everywhere at once, capturing every small detail. What was most important to me was that I never needed to worry about my time line for the wedding. Kelly helped us stay on track when it was important, but otherwise took a step back and let us enjoy our day, documenting everything from the sidelines. Kelly made my wedding day even better when only 3.5 weeks later, she got all my wedding pictures back to me. Through those pictures I got to relive my wedding day and see every detail that I didn't get to experience that day. As a testament to how much I LOVED all of my wedding photos, I attempted to "narrow down" the pictures and only choose my favorites for the wedding album I was putting together; I had 497 favorites. My husband is not very care about photography. But he keep telling me, hiring Kelly as our photographer, is the best decision for our wedding. Kelly did an amazing job for both our engagement & wedding photos. We are so grateful to have her capture our memorable moments. We like her photography style, natural & bright.
