I was looking for a company to do a long overdue deep clean of my dad's house. After reading the great reviews, I called True Blue Maids and spoke with Lyn, the owner. She completely understood our needs and we set up an appointment for cleaning. Teresa and Claudia showed up exactly on time and set to work right away. We got out of their hair for a while and when we came back, they were still hard at work. We tried to stay out of their way, so we sat in one of the finished rooms. While we were in there, my dad remarked that it already looked completely different. They finished shortly after, and we couldn't believe what a difference there was! We didn't realize how bad it was before until we saw the results. The place looked great!! I was quoted 3 hours for $320. The maids left at 2 hours and 8 minutes and did not finish the kitchen or living room because they said they were told they could only spend 2 hours and 8 minutes. i called the person that quoted me and she said she adjusted the time after my quote since i wasnt having my fridge cleaned, but never called me to tell me that. I asked her why I wansnt told or why that wasnt reflected on my contract and she giggled and said "we dont put that on the contracts." So now the whole front of my apartment hasnt been cleaned but Im out $320 for a professional deep clean. What a big mistake! Please do not use this service. read more

I hired True Blue Maids when I was preparing to sell my house and move across the country. True Blue turned out to be an essential component in making that project a reality. My home had been neglected for years for a number of reasons (an ill, aging parent in the home and me being exhausted by caring for her, to name a couple) and it was filthy. It took about three weekly visits before the house was clean and presentable. What a difference! Every blind, every corner, every baseboard, every surface I never noticed sparkled! More details below: I called 2 weeks ahead and specifically asked about morning time. The person who answered the phone said she is the owner and then she said only one time spot in the morning left on Friday and I took that spot. She asked for my credit card info, ok, while I didn't feel comfortable to do it, I understand her concerns and provided my credit card info. The owner said she will email me the confirmation of my Friday morning appointment Friday morning I woke up 4am to get my apartment ready for the cleaning and 8a.m. I received a "lovely" call that the team be there at the time frame between 12 and 2:30 (which basically means 3pm). When I asked the owner why the time of the service was changed without contacting me, she said that the time was in the email confirmation she emailed me. I trusted her and I didn't read that email confirmation So when we talked she verbally said morning around 9am and as I see now she just changed the time without contacting me. How I would do if I run the business and I'd like to be respected? I'd call, apologize that previously discussed 9a.m. Friday is not available and discuss other time frame options. For me was important to get the service in the morning, not at night at 2p.m., yes 2-3p.m. is late for me because I am on my very specific schedule. In her actions I see disrespect to my time, to my schedule. She tried to trick me. Who knows how else she might trick me. They are not reliable. When I mentioned I didn't like how she was treating me, she never apologized, she just said that she will not send her team to me. So on top of everything she just left me with dirty apartment despite her promise to come clean it on Friday morning I am actually happy she showed her true face before I started to have her service.
