To be honest, I've had several challenges with this, particularly being overcharged just because I live in California and perhaps people think everyone in California is rich. My roof was having some issues after a wind and hailstorm this summer and I started to get bids to replace it. Jesse gave me a bid that was in the middle of the pack. Jesse of Sisk Roofing have been recommended to me by someone in Kokomo. After I reviewed his initial bid and contacted him to discuss it, he decided to take a second look at the roof before talking to me. Upon closer inspection, he determined only part of the roof needed to be replaced and that he would stand behind his work for 10 years on a job where he was roofing over a single existing layer. His roofing work ended up costing me over $7000 less than his original price. Obviously, Jesse is an honest man, who relies upon his reputation for his business. He understood my situation as a long-distance landlord and when I asked him for other referrals, he was a great resource. I now have peace of mind if any other issues come up with my property. I needed also to have insulation in the attic, according to my tenants and one handyman I had hired. Jesse pulled off every roof vent and determined that the entire attic was already adequately insulated. Who knows how much that saved me! And then he found me someone to put on a gutter. Not only is he honest but he stands by his word. A contractor who was going to do some other work under Jesse for me, didn't get me a bid when he had promised Jesse. Jesse told him he'd never refer to him again. So I know keeping one's word is important in the eyes of Jesse Sisk. I am grateful to find an honest professional!

We recently purchased a Sunesta awning for our deck. We discussed awnings with the See Home…read moreImprovements representative at length. Based upon the overall quality, construction, and materials, we decided upon using See, and using Sunesta as our awning. We were primarily influenced by the quality of the materials and their high wind tests conducted in Dade County, Florida. Once we had authorization from our Home Owners Association, we ordered the unit and scheduled the installation. The installers were on-time for the appointment and had everything they needed to complete the job. They were very professional, and answered questions we had about the installation. The installation process was very good, with strong supporting mounts that were installed directly to wall studs. Once the installation was completed, they explained the operation of the awning and the remote control unit, as well as suggestions for proper use. Following that, they cleaned up the area and returned our deck to normal. We were very impressed with the sales representative as well as the installation crew and would definitely recommend them to others. We have already begun use of the awning and love its look (and colors of the frame and fabric), and especially the way it was mounted under our eave and above our outdoor speakers.

The two guys would come for a couple of hours and then leave. The doors are other issue all together. We had all our exterior doors replaced and a screen door added. The screen door fell apart within the year. The front door has warped and we are unable to open it. Another doors on the garage wad not properly install and did a quick fix. If I would do over again I would have gone with another company for the doors. The windows they seem fine just the length of time to get them installed.

Silver's Concrete made our project straightforward from start to finish. We compared three vendors…read morefor a small job, and while Silver's pricing was similar, the real difference was how carefully they listened to what we wanted. They offered practical options to help us balance project size with cost, and the lead time they provided was accurate within a few days. Our project involved replacing a front walk that had previously been lifted using an injection method from another company. That repair failed because of issues with the base. Silver's removed the fallen walk and broken bricks, rebuilt the base properly, and tied the new step and walk into the porch. The seam is clean, flat, and solid. They also replaced several shattered sidewalk panels and tied them into the existing panels with rebar. Both the immediate cleanup and the follow‑up cleanup after removing the barrier were thorough. Based on this experience, I would absolutely hire Silver's Concrete again.
