There is nothing nice i can say about this shop. Not only…read moredid they do the work incorrectly. (Both front wheel bearings) - less than a month went by and they were already bad again. Same noise came back. Took it back to them - they claimed it was my transmission and not the work they did. 1st time. With an older vehicle it was not worth it to put in a USED $3500 transmission... so with this economy i told them ill just drive the car till it dies then. The noise got so bad I took my car to another shop who was able to tell me whoever touched my car last ALSO messed up my brakes, calibers, and routers. Cost to fix $1700. Immediately im upset, call martys back they tell me dont they get first dibs to take a look since they did the work. - ummm yes however you had that chance over a month ago. Feb was the first time martys worked on my car. March the noise came back. April this new shop was able to see whats wrong. So ran the car back over to martys who again claimed and put in writing - "theres no damage and there is a noise coming from the transmission". I inform the new shop of what martys is telling me and they basically screamed at me "IT'S NOT THE TRANSMISSION!". ok well what now? Still cant afford $1700 when its martys who caused all this damage and wont take responsibility. Finally I couldn't take the noise anymore. End of June took it to yet a 3rd shop! Who was able to diagnose - yup its the wheel bearings. Installed incorrectly- they were destroyed. So I collected all this evidence. All the invoices, photos, videos, written statement etc. Sent a demand letter which martys never replied to. So I guess leaving reviews is the only way to get thier attention. Not only was the 2nd repair even more expensive I LITERALLY HAD TO PAY TWICE FOR THE FRONT 2 WHEEL BEARINGS SINCE MARTYS bent 1 part of my vehicle so the fix was even more expensive the 2nd time around, they also grounded down another part. Both of which I had to replace. NEVER GO HERE. I thought w all this documentation written statements etc. Id be able to get my money back (which im due more since they cause more damage) but they think its cute to leave it unanswered showing bad faith. At this point I dont anticipate any money back from martys- sad very shady business. I ended up having to spend way more than $3500 due to thier negligence.

Solidified mobile mechanics almost killed me. They came out…read moreand replaced my brake master cylinder. He first quoted me $360 but went up to $475 after the job was completed. Also for some reason they took off my back driver side tire and put it back on. I don't drive that truck real often but only two trips and 10 days later I was driving around 75 mph back wheel basically fell off. Its only by the grace of God that the wheel hub landed and stayed inside the rim as I pulled off the road. All 6 lug nuts were gone! I contacted Solidified and sent them a picture. Two hours later they showed up replaced all six posts and lug nuts. They then tried to charge me $540 to fix what is very obviously his mistake. A mistake that very easily could have caused a wreck and kill me. When I refused to pay he got agitated and told me that it was my fault and he had told me to get new lug nuts after the first job. First off he never said that. Second how is he going to return my truck to me with "faulty" lug nuts? Every mechanic I've talked to about this has said the same thing; they didn't tighten down the lug nuts. We argued good for about 5 minutes and then I decided I was leaving. The guy then tried to prevent me from leaving by standing in my door until I told him that I was gonna start driving and slowly pulled away. I watched him as I continued pulling away just to make sure he wasn't going to throw anything at my truck and luckily he didn't. He did however call the Highway Patrol and proceed to lie to them about how I ran his foot over. I found Solidified Mobile Mechanics to be dishonest in their pricing, life threateningly sloppy in their work, taking no ownership of their mistakes and willing to lie to get even. Highly DON'T recommend.

Passed on to another mechanic with the assurance that the charges will be the same - $475. But when the other mechanic came, he claimed that he never agreed to $475 and said he can do the job for $700. Ask Solidified for a copy of the receipt for the water pump but it never came. I don't think Solidified are certified mechanics and would not recommend them. The second mechanic also said they left a mess and damaged my hood lift.

Sheeler Auto Repair has an excellent reputation so I called and spoke with Demytrius about my annual servicing. Since I use only Amzoil, Demytrius agreed to do the oil change if I brought the Amzoil in. I made an appointment and was out within 30 minutes. While waiting I met another client who turned out to be a long time customer. He couldn't praise the shop and employees high enough. I left feeling I had chosen my new shop wisely.

It says a lot in itself if I find myself on Yelp to write a review (and even then, unfortunately, I…read moream the one to leave negative reviews if I've had a horrible experience somewhere) so here goes! I may be young but I cannot even begin to explain just how many times I've been in a rut due to car trouble. My experiences at various places (both big corporate auto shops and mom and pop type shops) have always been nothing but awful. It's gotten to where when my car needs to be looked at, I'm left feeling traumatized and reliving all of the times I've been taken advantage of, belittled, or ripped off by every place I've been to. Seriously, a man at Pep Boys spoke to me like I was a 5 year old child and caused a scene in front if other customers when I simply asked to make an appointment for a tire change. That's only one of over 100 experiences I've had. So when Triple A told me I needed to get a shift cable replaced, I immediately went into panic knowing I'd have to brace myself for wherever I went. I'm born and raised in the central Florida area and moved to Apopka almost 3 years ago. There's multiple auto shops around but I'd never been to Sheeler before until now. I came in and was out within an HOUR. Sadly, as a young woman, I never feel comfortable going alone to auto repair shops (that's another story for a different day!). I've learned to expect the worst. But this was by far the greatest experience. Everyone was super friendly, communicative and respectful. On my way home I immediately called several friends (other single women who have unfortunately had negative experiences with auto shops) and recommended Sheeler. I will 100000000% be coming back for any issues with my vehicle. Thank you sooooooo much for being honest and friendly. Words can't begin to describe what a relief this experience was!
