Our family of 5 was on the way to the Orlando airport when my van died. We didn't know the area so took AAA's recommendation and had it towed to Honest-1. Thank god we did!! Not only did they find what was wrong quickly, but they also fixed it in record time. We were out of there within a few hours and able to make it on our rescheduled flight. I'll try to keep this short. We brought my wife's car for an oil change. The next day we're leaking oil. I took the car back the next day and the guy I spoke to went out of his way to convince me we had some pre-existing condition, and that they did nothing wrong. We take the car to Toyota, and they quickly show us that Honest-1 put a 6-cylinder oil filter in our 4-cylinder car. Installing the right oil filter stopped the leak. I called Honest-1 and explained the situation. They got really quiet and humble and agreed to give us a refund. They're lucky I didn't ask them to pay to clean up the oil in our garage. read more

Was surprised and left for second opinion, went to Firestone 1St time, they reviewed brake pads and rotors and said. Basically the are at 80% and 90% perfect and do not need to be changed for some time. Charged me $10.50. read more

If I could rate them zero stars I would but the lowest I could give is one star. The worst shop I've ever been too. Had to get a new front tire. 1)they charged me $300 for one fucking tire and to mount and balance. And my tires are size 18. 2) they didn't torque down my lug nuts on my tire and could of killed me and other drivers. 3) I had to return to the shop a day later because my TPMS Sensor was fucked up. I really didn't want to return to this shop but I had to I'm not going to pay for something they fucked up. And when I was yelling at them because of the whole fuck up they had they wanted me to stop yelling fuck off you could of killed me assholes. Torquing down the lug nuts is auto shop 101 I guess someone missed that class. I'm not a mechanic and I know you're suppose to torque them down. I will never ever use your shop again. Everyone is soooooo nice!!!! The waiting area is absolutely spotless!! Clean and very comfy. The bathroom is very clean they also have complimentary coffee bottled water and chips . How's this for honest... went in on Wednesday to get a price on repairs... quoted $630... ok sounded good, made appt for Friday. Brought car in on Friday , leave with us and will call when ready. So far so good. While I was waiting for my ride, I needed to sign to ok the price.. here it comes $820.. $200 over quote... tacked on services " that they like to do" when servicing the vehicle for tune up. Bad service. The day I went to take it, it was really because I went to change the oil and filter rather than change the brake because she was already asking for it. Based on that, they did a scan that I didn't even ask for but they always do and they told me that I had to change something about the sensor and I was responsible and to take care of my car I did it and based on that they kept my car for two more weeks two more weeks (1 month practically) because doing the work they damaged a part that they did not want to answer for and after that they gave it to me the rear air conditioning did not work more about the brakes turned me on again and then I went there to fight. read more

I have had my 2007 Dodge Ram since it was brand new. I have always kept it maintained. I had just moved to Orlando from Rhode Island and was concerned about finding a good honest mechanic. Took my truck a different shop, told them was not running right, something was wrong rough ride etc. Told them to go right through it front to back, They told me needed a "tune up." and that was all. Got my truck still running rough. Decided to get a 2nd opinion. Honest 1 told me exactly what was wrong. (I am no mechanic but what they told me was what I figured) fixed the issues in one day and my truck is driving smoothly. I was so happy that it was again riding like it use to. The price was quoted and fair. not changed when the vehicle was picked up and the staff was excellent. Woody the manager was very friendly. Good place, fair pricing. They do decent work from what I can tell. I docked two stars because they do this 'full inspection' as a sales technique. They aren't BSing you and the inspection is solid. But it's also a sales technique which I understand. Upselling is the key to any successful business. My complaint is that I went in for an oil change, and due to their inspection and how many mechanics sit around and BS with eachother, I can't spend 1.5 hrs just for an oil change. I can change my oil myself, go to Walmart, and setup my garage well within an hour and be done. 1.5 hrs for an oil change just to tell you everything wrong with your car and upsell you, isn't really worth the time. It'd be funny to get an oil change on a 2019 Camry and see how quick it takes. Would it be 30 min like it should be? Or will there be a bunch of effing around while they 'finish up'. All in all, it's a good place. They are as 'honest' as they can be. But if you're looking for a no nonsense quick oil change, go to jiffy lube. This takes way way longer than is necessary. 1.5 hrs for a an oil change when they have several mechanics and I was the first car there when I arrived, is way way too long. Maybe they should hire one solid guy who just shows up and works. Because I know for a guaranteed fact that I can change oil, flush the system, replace the oil filter, as well as the BS cabin filter, in less than 30 min myself. All in all, it's a good deal. Please DO NOT bring your car here. They overcharge for services. I was charged over 26 dollars for a new gas cap plus 11 dollars labor for a gas cap that looked exactly like the one I just purchased online. I unfortunately didn't check the gas cap right away. I later called and questioned them to see if maybe they forgot to replace my gas cap due to the similarity. I didn't receive a return call so I went back to the store a couple of days later. I asked for my old gas cap back and they gave me a cap that looked identical to the one that they said they replaced. I asked why this cap cost so much and they said the plastic was different and that they got it straight from the dealer. I was charged a lot of money for them to clean my fuel line also. I can't be sure that this service was even performed. I won't be bringing my car back. read more

Very dishonest company! I used to take my car here all the time till I went to Midas and learned that one of my nuts on my wheel was stripped and they could not take my wheel off to complete my tire rotation. I took it to honest care the place whose been handling my tire rotation and oil change before that to let them know the situation the manager on duty said to let them try and take it off which they did and they would put a new one on if I bought a nut and brought it back to the store free of charge. He said he would note it down in there system so the next time I come back I could just give them my info and they could pull the last notation from my previous visit with no issue. Well today I came in and guess what that manager isn't there anymore and he never noted it in the system but their receptionist was there and she was also there that day when I came in and spoke to that manager and they said that they still could not honor it. These people are a JOKE and I will never come back and I'll tell everyone how crappy of how a shop this is. They change there managers like they change their underwear. Always under new management so you can see that obviously somebody in the hiring department doesn't know what they are doing!!! read more

I receive a flyer in the mail, with coupons almost every week so I thought I'd try out a new local business. I got an oil change that included a detailed vehicle inspection. I was told that the only thing they found is that I needed an alignment. I was relieved and drove the 3 miles or so home. The next morning I discovered about 100 dime sized oil spots where my car had been parked, so we took the car back to have them look at it. They said it was a pre-existing leak, although it was not there when they completed their "detailed inspection" yesterday. I feel very uncomfortable with this. I DID NOT have a leak AT ALL prior to this visit. Since the oil change, I drove 3 miles home MAX. I have parked in the same spot in my garage, every, single day for 5 years. How is this scenario possible!?! I'll just have to take it to the experts at Toyota and have them diagnose & fix it. My problem, my loss, as usual. Brakes squeaked after replacing $800 later...Took it back and they stated the brakes were fine. Nothing was done to fix the problem and was not satisfied.
